Another great video can't wait to see these places for ourselves. Your videos have been agreat help over the last year while we have been in lockdown and for the next couple of months until lockdown ends thank you for all your hard work. I love all the map references you use

I can't wait to visit these locations in July! Not sure if you have tried, but if you want to try different camera bodies/lenses there are always rental options. I have not yet used a rental shop in that area, but am looking at a couple. Thank you so much for your great informative videos!
Good stuff! I'm looking forward to shooting at the Church of the Transfiguration and the Menors Ferry area too. Those old buildings with the mountains in the background are just awesome.
Can you please tell me where that was at the 6:00 mark? People in the water on paddle boards etc? Love your videos. Heading to Jackson Hole & Tetons in June.
How is the weather as far as temperatures around the end of August? We're going for the first time and trying to prepare. I can't wait to visit this park.
I’m planning a motorcycle trip to the area. I wanted to go when it’s not too busy but not too early when it’s too cold. I was thinking on the last week of May or Maybe the first week of June. Can you recommend it he best time ti come
First part of June would probably be better but there's no for sure way to know. Each winter is different, 2023 opened later than normal because of the heavy snowfall.
I have been rewatching your videos these last 2 months planning a 7+ day trip to GTNP with drive-by in Yellowstone to & from Bozeman where I am picking up my son for said trip! I love you & your wife & have used your videos pretty much exclusively for planning! Are your cameras digital? I just remembered I had a treasure trove of "vintage" 35mm SLR cameras my youngest sister gave me to sell a couple of years ago. One of them, a Pentax, has a 70-210mm zoom. Do you think that will be good enough for wildlife photos?
After going to the Tetons for 50 years as a photographer I made the decision last year to abandon going back due to so many people abusing our natural resources by damaging and altering the landscape and harassing the wildlife by trying to get to close with there cell phones 🥱

Thank you. Great clear video. Looking forward to visiting.
Glad it was helpful!
We did the Lake Solitude hike in September and the wildflowers were still beautiful and plentiful.
I am dying to do that hike!!
Thanks for your pictures and your help. Good job!

String Lake! I've covered this in a few other videos as well, I believe. More GT videos to come!

Temps are PERFECT at the end of august!
@@WereintheRockies Should we plan on pants or shorts?
@@cgd1125 both! Not joking. Bring layers
@@WereintheRockies LOL Thank you!
Start with your canon rebel series- lenses are more affordable an good glass- you can get a good used camera for a few hundred dollars
I will be there in two weeks. Primarily wildlife photography.
Enjoy.
We love your chanel and plan to be here this May. Any suggestions for shortest distance driving from yellow stone to Teton ? Thanks .
Highway 191 connects the two parks and is the shortest driving distance. Have a great time.

Where is that specific spot at 5:23?
Phelps lake
The advantage that DSLRs will always hold over mirrorless is battery life. That can be big when having your camera all day at national parks.

Hey Cathy, I don't think I feel qualified to give you an answer on that. It's been a LONG time since I used a SLR. Haha. Whatever you use, good luck!!
@@WereintheRockies thanks, I'll keep you posted!
