Last year I did 5 National Parks, Badlands, Devils Tower, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Craters of the Moon. I used your park guides, and your guides were such a valuable tool for planning our trip...I fell in love with Grand Teton..your suggestions on where to go and the time of day totally made our trip a success. Thank you
I’m so glad you found them helpful and that you had a great trip. If you’re willing, we’d love you to leave a review on our website (you need to scroll to the bottom) wereintherockies.com/black-hills-packages/
You guys are adorable. Keep up the fun videos. I enjoy flying into Denver and driving all over Wyoming and SD and Yellowstone. It is like another planet for a Floridian like me. God Bless!
I've been following some great RV families that post really good videos, but once I started watching your videos, I realized that I was along for the ride with them and really enjoy being part of their trips, but your videos are specifically about planning trips. You are about educating and informing. When I think about how much time I have already spent on our Glacier/Banff/Jasper trip, I realize your guides would have saved me probably 60-80 hours. I really enjoy your videos, your narration and your videography. I already feel like you're my "virtual friends", LOL! I'm going to get several of your guides for our trip this fall since you give 20% off for multiples (I'm frugal...others call it "cheap"). It's so pleasant to follow people like you. I hope you're getting a lot of business because your free stuff is SO helpful, but I'm realizing it's going to be easier to just spend a few dollars than spend all that time researching everything myself. Thanks for all you do and for your laid back and calm manner.
Thanks so much! You explained perfectly what we aim to do. We want to save the fellow traveler hours and hours of research. We know you will love our guides. Have a great time in your future travels and thanks for watching.
GT my fav park! BUT def take their advice. Long drives, $$$. 💯 Plan your days ahead of time to avoid traffic & crowds. Get up early for sunrises/hikes so u can be resting/eating at a picturesque lake by the afternoon. Ur gonnna love GT, watch all their vids for guidance!
We went to Yellowstone and Grand Teton in August 2023 and agree with all your Don'ts. Yellowstone has so many amazing sights. Grand Teton stole our hearts - stunning scenery, intimate park and fun activities. Your videos really enhanced our trip. Thank you
I had the pleasure of working for the Park Service in the 1970s in Grand Teton Park. I was on the Death Valley trail crew while I was going to college (UCLA). We actually got paid more than the seasonal rangers due to some obscure prevailing wages Wyoming rule, which pissed the rangers off of course. Talk about culture shock going back and forth between L.A. and Grand Teton for five summers. So many goods memories there, what a beautiful place.
Hmm....we must have gotten lucky with out timing last summer. We went the second week of July and the traffic going through there wasn't horrible and we never had an issue finding parking at places like Jenny Lake etc. There were plenty of people around, but no bottle necks/clogging traffic.
People are only speeding because instagram rewards people to post often. I am absolutely convinced that if IG and other so called “social” media charged people for uploads = less people trying to “just” see “more” instead of calming down and enjoying the journey…
watching this now it feels like foreshadowing....... The queen herself 399 was tragically hit and killed by a car at night not long ago........... She will be missed by a lot of people.
Don't be rude, don't try to "pet" the wildlife, and DON'T leave your trash!! Which is why the price to stay in the park has gone up, to hire people to pick up YOUR trash and shit you left in this once pristine park.
We have no shortage of em here in Moab. Proudly going 40+ in our 25mph speed zones where we have 2 churches an aquatic center and a grade school. I am ready to join police squad and just fine people into chapter 7 bankruptcy status. 😀 “How longs your hipster beard now!?” As their conformist suv is being towed away 🤣🤣🤣
@@paulab984 Yeap - I purposefully go 20mph in Moab for the tourists who are "on vacation" - Your welcome!! Funny story: You get out on the 128 - and they won't actually race you? Why? So when it's safe open straight road = risk averse. 20mph school zone/churches = "Dude bro, van life dude bro, I'm goin as fast as I wanna dude bro van life it's all about ME dude bro for the gram and muh beard and muh rescue dawg dude bro" - That smile goes away fast when they are not handed a warning. ;-)

How fun!
10 years ago I spent over 10 days between Yellowstone and Tetons (7/3) 6 days in Livingston, 4 days in Jackson
That sounds wonderful.
@@WereintheRockies Thanks It was. In Jackson Hole, the best steak Ihad was at "Local"
I cannot wait to go. When do the water activities end… like the ferry? Is that all in the guide too.
The Jenny Lake shuttle runs through September.
How to prepare for 4th of July weekend, camping at gros ventre. Get up early and avoid crowds/traffic. How busy is it during this time? Thank you
I'm not exactly sure but I would assume 4th of July weekend is one of the busiest of the summer.

Wow! You are lucky! Glad it was a great experience for you.
We’re leaving in two week trip and visiting this park. Looks like a cold may. You guys think it’ll be just as busy right now?
May is not usually very busy. Have fun!
Cheryl you said Jackson is "wicked" expensive. Are you from Mass?
Nope 🥰
As a local-I think one of the Dont's of Visiting the Tetons is-Please Don't-we are tired of tourists!
Thank you for sharing your beautiful area.
Are there any bike paths where cars aren't allowed?
There are bike paths all over.
Yes, there are bike paths
Perfect
Dont climb on the barn. Somebody did
🤩🥰
No!!

Don't count on getting cel reception in Yellowstone or Grand Teton. Many dead spots.

Don't come here. We don't have stuff to see... go to Utah. Or really anywhere else.
