Noticed some really bad renovations and whatnot so I wonder if the wire runs got messed up in several places between the power supplies and panel causing each power supply to act strange in different ways

well that isn’t something you see everyday lol, 60BPM and 20BPM on TrueAlert’s. i think all they’re rated for is 60bpm T3 and steady but i could be wrong

Correct, 60 BPM, Temporal 3, and Continuous is all they're rated for.

Well now _there's_ something you don't see (or rather _hear)_ every day! Sure hope you get the issue fixed though: seems like the difference in the pulsing pattern between the two sets of TrueAlerts could give someone quite the headache!
Interesting how the one set of TrueAlerts is actually doing pulse/60BPM march time (as well as how they occassionally pulse longer like SmartSync TrueAlerts on temporal 3 would).
I hear what sounds like the panel beeping nearby around the beginning: where was it exactly?
I'm surprised that basement level needs notification appliances, exit signs, & emergency lights considered how unfinished & non-regularly-occupied it looks to be.
2:07 Had to have someone else unlock that gate for you huh?
2:27 Clever idea using that dumbbell to hold the door open a crack (ditto with the wet floor cart on the following door).
2:38 _Man_ that room seems to be a mess, with all that stuff strewn everywhere: they oughta clean it up some!
Funny how some of the TrueAlerts like the one at 2:31 seem to be _in_ the wall some! (dumb drywallers? (though I suppose they can't be to blame for ones like the one at 0:52)

@@TheCarson116 Re: the gate - yeah, it's a secured property. There is a keypad and I had a code for it, but the maintenance person was insistent that he let me in with his physical key, lol.
Re: The basement doors - they're always locked from the outside, so to prevent the door from shutting and locking us out and having to have maintenance let us back in again, they propped it open with a dumbbell.
Re: panel location - it's in the room whose door you see for a split second at 1:38.
Re: the room being a mess - this public housing agency doesn't care, lol.
Re: signal mounting - that would be my guess.
Re: basement coverage - I'm not sure what the code required; it's a low ceiling though, so you have to duck while walking, plus there's a TON of cobwebs everywhere.

Why does 20BPM actually sound so good lol

It sounds like a two stage system lol

I think technically .5 hz is still within code. But yeah prob worth fixing

    • @weatherdan882002
      @weatherdan882002  Місяць тому +1

@@FourtyFiftyEighty I've never heard of that; it's always been 1-2 flashes per second. Plus, the only Match Time code SmartSync TrueAlerts are supposed to do is 60 BPM.

@@weatherdan882002 I got it backwards lol. Yes it’s 1-2 flashes per second you are right
