Yes...nice to meet Paul. Think you house will be well insulated with the thickness of the concrete. And like the man cave pla n...of course....thanks for sharing Kenny....😊
DANG, I thought I missed something. Was trying to figure out who "giant2148" could be. Spent some time at Paul's neighbor's house (awesome place) while we were there, so I assumed it was him. Now I know. Thanks for watching!
Thanks Kenny great video we are starting our house build about February just north Khon kaen in the village I might try and catch up with Paul I was born in Canberra. I live in Australia Brisbane at the moment 3 more years to retirement.
@ ok mate that sounds great Na and I are hoping to come over in February my work contract finishes at the end of January. I am keen to watch your house build 👍
Hi Kenny and Sompit Great to see Paul and Aors house coming along looks like plenty outside space for socialising like us all about the outside space mate and the Bar b que Cheers Gary and Mon 50/50
Paul if you are monitoring the comments - you need R7.5 insulation. You can get a lower rating but the higher rating is better. On the subject of A/C's I had a similar conundrum re sizing. I ended up putting in 2 x 18,000 BTU's in a combined dining/kitchen area. We rarely run the second unit BUT even in hindsight I wouldn't change my choice.
Hey Mark, I asked Paul to monitor the comments for the first couple days. Ironically, I reviewed this video earlier and suggested the same (2x18k) in a Line message to Paul. Save a little money and get the cooling capacity he will need. Of course, I suggested calculating the sq meters first to insure it will be sufficient. Good call!
Thanks for the advice Mark. All the AC and insulation decisions are a ways down the track yet but we are starting to have the conversations with the builder now.
Now I have to look at the map. Always assumed Sidney was the capital until Paul made that comment. Learn something new every day. The problem is, at this age, remembering it! lol
Good luck Paul from Melbourne Mr Don Australia 🦘
Hey Mr Don, hope you enjoyed the video. You Aussie's are great people.
Thanks Mr Don
