Build a skirt. You lose a lot of heat allowing the wind to sweep underneath you. Cut a tarp to size or get enough xps to skirt the trailer and then tie them down with ratchet straps.
Wonder what Yukon Jack would taste like over a cup of freshly fallen snow?? Waiting for your toilet review since I recognize the brand but I won't say what it is!! I'm considering the same toilet for my CTC and my wife even likes it!
What kind of lights are those that you have on the outside of Eddie and how many watts are they? They look like they do extremely well! Thanks for another great video!!
Great video Scott. See if you can talk to the people from cubic mini to see if you can incorporate a cold air intake from outside. All wood stove run more efficient that way.
Scott, watching this helped me relax before going to the dreaded dmv to renew my drivers license. Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year!
Nice setup! Looks kinda like what I did, but if I'd have had some money to spend. You've got a nice workaround for your fireplace, but ideally you want the air intake going directly into the stove somehow. It might involve some custom rigging, but ultimately I think you'll be happier if you don't NEED to be letting air into the cabin. There might be a night where it's just too cold for you to do that and be warm enough. Don't feel too bad though, I made the same mistake with the homestead I built, except I didn't even really account for an air intake in the first place. When I realized my error, I whipped together a screen door in a hurry so I could have air intake without letting the cat out, and it still doesn't work right. I do all my cooking outside and have made a mental note that redoing the fireplace from scratch is Job #1 when I go back there in spring. Keep doing this stuff, I'm eager to see what you build next!
The practical use of space is encouraging. Not turning it into an apartment for two, but useful space to share with many, is what I want from my camper trailer as well. Can't wait for the toilet introduction.
What an incredible life you have built. Eddie is perfect, thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks for watching!
@@DrenalinAdventures how long did it take you to get Eddie to where he is now?
@@rudycarlson8245 it'll be 3 years this spring
