You basically play as Team Rocket and put Pokemon in sweatshops making guns, it's literally the best game ever.
I actually disagree because when you’re fighting the syndicate you’re actually saving pals from them so you are the opposite of team rocket in this case the syndicate are the people who are murdering any Pal that comes into their vicinity so who would you rather be the bad guy or the vigilante because I know what I’m picking I’m picking the vigilante
@@Choujifangirl You can still be Team Rocket, it's just that there's an even WORSE group around to make you look good in comparison. In fact, there's fucking tons of them, between the Syndicate, the Free Pal cultist freaks, whoever the fire-obsessed psychos in the desert are, and at least one other I forgot the name of at the time.

for the shiny pokemon thing, it used to be, in the very first game, that the IV code, aka, small stat boosting randomness, would decide if mon is shiny, making it so a shiny was ACTUALLY A SIGN OF HIGH STATS. nintendo, of course, got rid of this feature.
adding an edit: not the first game, the first COLOR game. aka, Silver & Gold. the shinies were originally to show off the games first time in color on a handheld. the IVs were used, not to show you had a strong mon, but just for the randomness. and fun fact, in Silver and Gold, the only Unown you could get to be shiny ,were I and V, because the letters were chosen the same way as shininess.
Shinies in gen 2 could never have perfect IVs, meaning in practice it always means you aren't using the strongest version of the species when using the shiny. It wouldn't be until gen 7 with Bottle Caps that og the gen 2 era shinies could have Best in any stat.
Why would they remove that? WHY?! That's such a good feature. Why do they insist on dumbing down their franchise with every installment, replacing complexity with flavor-of-the-year gimmicks like dynamax and mega evolutions?

By making shinies determined by DVs, Pokemon like Unknown and Spinda would have certain forms have shinies that are ridiculously harder to obtain shiny since DVs also influenced what form of a Pokemon you encountered if it had multiple.
By changing it to only calculate off of the secret ID alone it made all Pokemon regardless of form or species equally accessable to be shiny.
At least until gen 5 started the shiny locking train, anyway.

Then again, given PETA's track record when it comes to how they treat animals, it makes perfect sense that they'd prefer Palworld to Pokemon.
I mean, in a way I get it. Nobody is going to look at Palworld and think that you should do the things the game shows you; meanwhile, Pokémon is a seemingly sweet child-oriented series that promotes cockfighting as a team building activity.
i mean when you think about it, it makes total sense that PETA would support a game where you can capture and euthanize animals on a whim. it's literally right up their alley

A reminder for everybody impressed by this game's quality: It's still only EARLY ACCESS! It's going to get even better!
While this company has shown an ability to _finish_ games in Early Access before, I believe they also abandoned one in Early Access Limbo. Combine that with the rest of the gaming world's treatment of it, "Early Access" is never a guarantee of improvement; merely that the game is considered unfinished.

@@elvickRULES Not denying that for a minute. It's not my style of game (I can't do sandbox survival-craft, I just can't), but it does look like hilarious fun. I just don't really like the developers, and don't have a lot of faith in the way a lot of devs use "Early Access".
@@Blazieth the company has not a single game (on steam) that is finished. All published games are still in early access, one for more than 3 years by now, and the one unpublished one will also come out as early access.

To be fair, PETA does have a history of making truly horrific parodies of games, see the Cooking Mama parody game, that are pretty inline with the sort of crap you'll see in Palworld.
(and they themselves are no strangers to massive amounts of animal cruelty and senseless killing)

About the Pokemon controversy, it says a lot that a company as litigious as Nintendo hasn't gone after Palword itself, especially given it wouldn't have even been an international legal action and Japan has absolutely no doctrine of fair use attached to its copyright law.

The funny thing is i know it has nothing to do with the video but the fact this game has better fake Pokemon designs than anything in the last five Pokemon generations is saying something.

though it is a bit of a gut punch seeing how even though this Game is like a walking Parody conjured during one of the wildest of fever dreams, the set pieces, lighting and other things in it still look like 3 times better than in any 3D Pokémon game till this day
Not to defend Nintendo for their bullshit but its a bit harder to have great graphics for a console like the switch as compared to pc or PS/Xbox.

I don´t know whether they managed to whip them into shape a bit by now but upon release those titles were complete train-wrecks wrapped in shiny christmas paper and a price tag attached

Palworld cost 30 usd and 20.69 gigs.
A 64 gig thumb drive costs about 15 to 20 usd.
Not too sure if that's a 1:1 conversion, but I think 30 pounds is heavier.

Everyone talks about sweatshop bases, but mine are practically spas with two hot springs and little tubs, feed boxes with gourmet food, and they work at a leisurely pace (that includes the humans).
