Season One of the Flixer already strayed extremely far from the source material. They amputated the character arcs of the two actual protagonists to make more room for a three-act superhero movie for a supporting character turned Mary Sue. And they did this in a way that destroyed the foundation on which future character development depended. Future seasons never had a chance. In addition to straying from the source material, season one was also terrible in its own right. You and others just liked it because you were looking to fill the Game-Of-Thrones-shaped-hole in your hearts.
