Let me introduce you to my Bible Tote! I keep all my essentials for what I call my God Time (prayer time, quiet time, bible study, etc.) which is usually in the morning, in this convenient bag. By keeping all my resources together, I give myself less excuses for using them in any room of the house I choose. Even if the only quiet time you get is at soccer practice, the library, or when the kids are sleeping, keeping a tote is one of the best ways you can prep for your faith life. Do you work outside the house? Consider taking your lunch break in your car with your tote. Setting this up was one of the best things I have ever done for my faith walk, and I encourage you to do the same

For at least a year I have had an older scrapbook tote (very similar to yours, same shape but pink and brown , a gift) and I established it as my Bible Tote - I had gelatos, my journaling Bible (AWESOME), verse maps, and that is about it. I always wanted to make something better of it but I would seem to get side tracked by the premise of " do I put washi in my craft "room" or in the tote, etc. THEN.....I was trying to get back into Listers Gotta List and I was printing off the challenge sheets for Feb, Mar, Apr, and I came across your Bible Tote !!!!!! WHAT A GOD HUG!!!!!! I was so excited and eager to assemble my old tote the rest of the way - as a matter of fact did it all in one night (tonight when I was done scrapbooking)!!!! Just wanted to say a B I G THANK YOU for giving me a new resource!!!!!

Love your tote very organized and officiant. but the best part of this video that I re watched like 5 times because for some reason I find it hilarious. was at about the 2 min Mark when the gelato pouch moved it self off of the table it just kills me lol thank for the random giggles but I really do love this setup may need something like this for my house as my studio is in the back yard

I'm amazed at what all you were able to get in that tote. I'm pretty sure I have one in my craft closet that I only think to use when we are going on vacation. These are only suggestions and an explanation of what works well for me-- use what works best for your needs and your budget! I was gonna ask how you don't have any Mr Pen. Then seen this was 7 years ago. Also COLINK has glitter highlighters. No bleed for the bible are a huge must for my bible caddy. Washi tape and cross paper clips are another must for me. ❤

This is a great idea, Cori! I have a tote like this one, just a little different pocket configuration inside. I pulled it out as I watched this video to see if it will work for me. A bit bummed that I don't have two big inside pockets, but maybe I can still make it work. :) So glad you are settled into your new space and putting out videos again. We were living in the PNW when that video was made, Melissa! We have been living in our RV for the past couple of years and have been blessed to travel around and see much of the country! All so beautiful! However...why so many different areas to take notes/journal...if u picked one or 2 u could save space..? Just curious..
I have one main journal (the one I was journaling in), a devotional, bible, and a couple traveler notebook inserts that I had started journaling in during a trip. The large blue planner holds bible studies I printed out, and the pink faith planner has a whole bunch of inserts I designed for prayers and lots and lots of lists (for my Christian walk). Each one has its own purpose :)

All this "stuff" is nice. Just like to point out that all a person NEEDS, at most, is a Bible to read/study God's word. The money that goes into this stuff could be used to pay off debts (when applicable) or to help "widows and orphans", as the scriptures instruct. Think about it.... what did our forefathers do with their Bibles? What did they NEED to assist them when lifting their prayers to God? Simply, faith. Faith, alone!
I thought this looked fun but a bit excessive.
Must admit some people go nuts with it, I have my Bible, a note pad that cost £3 some highlighters£1 and 10 colourful pens £1.99 just went on Amazon and bought washi tapes which is a pack of ten for 49p and some cute stickers for 62p and some pages marker that's enough for me lol plus the kids love the washi tapes 😁
Some people look forward to Bible study and quiet time and are far more likely to stick to daily time in God's Word if they enjoy getting creative, and express their faith when they give God the Glory thru art. If that's their motivation to seek God, why discourage it just because it's not your thing?

I absolutely love this! It give me so much motivation because I’ve been trying to figure out how and what I can do to Draw closer to god and make studying the word a daily habit..lifestyle. I love the idea of a bible workbook. Saves one buying bible studies books. I will definitely start doing this!

I loved this video! I am a collector more than a doer and when I want to actually journal, scripture and bible study I get so frustrated because I have so much stuff that I just don't do anything. I have the same tote and right now it has a lot of things in it that I know I won't use. I am going to redo it right now and try and follow your tote setup. I can not find this tote. The only one that they have at Michaels now has 4 short compartments. I can't get my large books in it..😩
Kristi- you can find them in the Artist section of Michael's. My sister just found me one this week and they are in the artist/paint/supplies section of the store. I couldn't find them either and they are still $5, and they are stored flat, hope that helps.
