Hi Lolly, Thanks for this review. I trust your judgment because I have been a subbie for ages. I have arthritis in my wrists that sometimes makes it hard to use my big cutting machine (Cuttlebug). So I have been looking for a better option. You sold me on the Easy Cuts. I just ordered one from Amazon. (great price too) Excited for the arrival! Thanks again.

This video is very very special to us especially when it comes from Lolly....we are so thankful to you for sharing your review ....it was really unexpected but it was a pleasant surprise for sure.❤️❤️❤️ By the way for embossing you need one of our embossing plate and one of the cutting plate and you may emboss with them easily !😃

Thanks for this! I'll be turning 42 in a few months & I've never owned or used any type of die-cutting machine. Needless to say, I've done A LOT of fussy-cutting in the past 20-plus years! LOL! I was recently diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy & its getting harder for me to cut things out so I'm really wanting to try & get myself a small die-cutting machine that I can also use embossing folders with. I've had my eye on The Big Shot for quite a while now, but after seeing your video, I feel like one of the smaller ones would work just fine since I mostly create scrapbook layouts, as well as cards & smaller things to send out to people during Holidays/Birthdays/Special Occasions, RAK's & Happy Mails! I've been watching DeStash Videos... Hoping to catch someone who has maybe upgraded to something like A Cricut or Gemini, & Since they no longer use their Hand-Cranked Machine anymore... Maybe they'd DeStash it for a price I can afford! I've watched hundreds of Destashes in the past year; & Can you believe that Not Once have I ever seen anyone looking to get rid of (or pass on) Any type of Die-Cutter! Someone on Facebook told me that they actually purchased their Big Shot... From their local Goodwill for $10.00! TEN DOLLARS!!!! BRAND NEW!!! So of course I keep checking-in with ALL the Thrift Stores & Second-Hand Shops in my area, but I think she just got EXTREMELY LUCKY with that FANTASTIC DEAL! Do you have any recommendations/suggestions for where I might be able to get the Best Deal at? Someone else told me that Wish has the small Die-Cutters. I've checked them out & they're very inexpensive, but they're tiny & it could take more than a month for it to ship. I'm scared to take a chance on them because I've purchased a few things from Wish & TopHatter that wound up being SO NOT WORTH the money or the long wait! Do you know of anyone who's purchased any craft supplies from Wish?

Erica, Ellen Woodbridge has a card-making channel on UA-cam. She also has Peripheral Neuropathy, and she's such a lovely person.
On a different subject, I have lots of machines as well. The only problem at all with sending one, of course, is the cost of postage. I need to explore UPS prices.

@@beverlymeaker7566 I'll go find Ellen! Thank You for responding & telling me about her!

Oh wow! Thank you so much for this review. I have the stamps of life mini die cut machine and it does the same thing. It moves around while I cut, the same goes for my cuttlebug sometimes, but I work with it. After seeing this review though, I might invest in the Easy Cut machine. It's cute and it's easy and I love that the bed is big enough to lay your dies in. Thanks and be blessed. ❤🙏💕😊

I’m so glad you posted this. I killed my sidekick and have been looking for another small machine (but hoping for a wider opening than the sidekick).
As for sliding issues, just use some shelf liner under it 😆

I didn't mention the Sidekick, since I never bought it -- I saw the "bed" (platform) and decided against it.

@@LollyPalooza I had the very first red one years ago, and actually passed it on to ,y teenage daughter and she used it for many years. And the one I just killed lasted me about 5 years, so I’m not complaining 😆. I just figured that if I have to replace it then I’d get one with a larger opening.

So interesting. I had not heard of the newer machine until now. One thing that will help with machines sliding on your surface, though, is the use of a silicone mat. Stampin Up makes one that sells for approximately $6.00, and is roughly 6" x 6".

    • @LollyPalooza

Hmmm. Wouldn't you know I removed my silicone mat just for this video? Need to try it.

@@LollyPalooza Thank you for your quick reply! Yes, I have been searching online and the plates are sold out everywhere and no word on an alternative. It's disappointing because this little die cutter is so well designed.

OOh, I have Dress my Craft’s trimmer and love it. So I think their mini machine would be good quality. I use the Diamond Press Marquise the majority of the time for my die cutting. But that long bed on the DMC would be nice for several dies. Absolutely it is a product issue for every company from slow trucking to not enough drivers to not enough workers to make the products. We need to realize we are not in a normal world anymore and have patience and understanding.

hi, heads up -- if you click on the video on a Facebook post, comments don't work. What's happening is that you are actually watching on Facebook (they don't want you leaving Facebook) so once it's opened, you need to click the 3 dots in the top right corner and select to open in the app or open in the browser. That will bring you to watching it on UA-cam, and you will be able to comment.

You can dampen the surface under the machine to help adhear. Loved the comparison. A 4 inch surface cutting machine is a better choice and will be more useful.
