Those Fenix batteries come with a micro usp port directly on the battery itself.

I also carry pepper spray. Works better than tasers overall. I have actually had to use it, and it works very well. However, one should train with it and be aware of the wind. If indoors, then exit immediately, and just know that the mist is going to affect you as well. Probably why cops don’t use it much. But they don’t break contact like us civilians normally do. If you know what you are doing with it, it works well for times when deadly force may not be necessary or allowed.

Layered Approach; medical bare minimum is the same as yours and is in my jeans and over-shirt pockets. Ankle Cuff carries the extras. My extended IFAK is in my outdoorsy jacket. Nobody walks around with a backpack or duffle where I’m at. And sometimes the kit in my vehicle is a long ways away. The RATS TQ fits any sized limb and fits in my jeans pocket, works on me so should work on others, short of a leg decapitation. SOFT works out well on the Ankle Cuff. Biggest advantage of the CAT or SOFT is CUF. Since nobody around me is trained in medical, and nobody wears their IFAK in a standardized location, I’m not counting on getting help from bystanders. Many times the EMT’s don’t have a CAT TQ or a Junctional TQ, and do not have adequate means of treating an AAA. But maybe I can intervene for someone else.

Fenix makes phenomenal lights with excellent machining. Their batteries are far superior to other brands I’ve tried like streamlight rechargeable. It doesn’t hurt that fenix battery I have has 3500mah and streamlights is 2800 I believe. Streamlights are cheaper so I keep some for backups even tho a charge on the battery lasts 3 months for me and that’s with daily use and multiple times a day at that. Having that peace of mind and functionality is worth the price

Red dots are awesome, but can be a pain to EDC. And quite frankly unnecessary in my opinion. If you are a cop or military, it makes sense, but I don’t need one for my concealed every day carry. I don’t even have a light on my edc. I have carried concealed since the late 80’s. I have never needed a red dot or pistol light. I do carry a good flashlight however. Pistols for me are close range, last resort weapons to break contact and allow me to get to a rifle or law enforcement. But, ain’t nothing wrong with them at all. I just like to “keep things simple.”

I've been beating up a Fenix PD25R for almost 2 years and its been flawless. Definitely impressed with Fenix lights
Anyone know what the finish is on his G19 slide? Was it refinished with that nickel finish (cant remember the name)?

    Nice video…. I’m a minimalist and prefer:
    Leather belt
    Vedder Light Tuck AIWB holster
    Glock 19, 32 or 23… with HST’s. Only!
2 spare mags in “Ammo Armor” sleeves.
Cell phone (has a light,no need for more lights).
    Small lockable pocket knife
    POM pepper spray
    Wallet.
    No other crap.

I must admit, as the years go by, I've been carrying less and less also. After nearly 15 years of carrying a g19 or g23 with surefire weapon lights(settling on the XC1-C once it came out), I decided try something smaller/thinner/lighter. I was considering the g48, g43x, Sig p365, and the Sig p365xl. Naturally, they had all of them in stock, and at the shooting range to rent, except for the 365xl.
So, like the tenuous I am, I put a down payment on an XL, and got it a week or two later. And I freaking love that gun. I took it straight to their range after buying it, and was surprised at how small, light, and thin it is for a gun that's so "shootable". I've got somewhere between 5 and 10 thousand rounds through it(probably 7 or 8k), and I honestly do not remember a single malfunction, with the exception of that first day, where I don't recall exactly what happened(I'm actually not sure it was a malfunction(or at least not a jam/FTF, FTE, etc.) at all), but I'm virtually certain that it was something I did wrong, or misunderstood or something like that. And despute people shitting on stippling, I feel like this gun has the perfect amount of "grip", and it's in(almost) all the right places. And carrying it is a completely different experience as compared to a mid-sized glock. It practically dissapears, especially with the holster I got.
I also used to carry a g19/23 mag in either a pocket mag holster(which I preferred when reasonable), or a belt mounted one at the 9 o'clock position.
Now, I don't even carry a spare mag(not saying it's right, it's just where I'm at.) I guess it's because of several factors, one being that I live in a very safe, relatively wealthy suburb, where crime is very low(especially the type of crime where the bad guy needs to get shot.) I figure the odds of me ever getting into a fight for my, my family's, or someone else's life is so incredibly rare, and the odds that I would have to actually fire a shot on top of that are even lower, and the odds of me every getting into an extended shootout with someone where 13 rounds is not enough, or I have a Type III malfunction, etc. are essentially zero.
My only(well, main) gripe about the gun is that I got one of the relatively early ones, where the rear sight is actually attached to the optic plate cover, which means A., I can't change out my rear sight, and B., when an optic is mounted, there no dovetail or other place to put my rear sight. Naturally they fixed this not long after I bought mine, leaving me in a position where I may have to just buy a whole new complete slide(which isn't a huge deal, it's just more about the principle of the matter.) I've actually always wondered what would have happened if I called them and told them I had one of the older slides, and asked if they'd send me a new one. Admittedly, probably nothing, but you never know.
As far as ammo, I've been carrying 125gr +p Cor-Bon Pow'R'Ball. I no longer carry any medical supplies on my person, but have tourniquests all over my cars and houses, as well as a large trauma kit in each car(and the training necessary to use these tools.) I also carry a Surefire Stiletto for a flashlight.

I still use a G26 as my carry gun and have for many years. I know a bunch of guys (my brother included) that latch onto the latest and greatest gun. Over and over, until the next version of the latest and greatest gun comes out, which seems like every few weeks. They spend thousands on "the greatest", and are never happy.
