Finally! something that actually works, thnks dude! I spent a whole freaking sunday trying to play LoL on Ubuntu. I am just trying to get rid of windows, but it is not easy tho...
when I click install on the opengl thing, the firefox says it can't be opened. this little firefox window that says launch application does not appear to me
Lutris only gives me the option to install directx not OpenGl. I've used directx with wine and the game has a low fps of 10ish, Is there a way I can force wine to use OpenGl in Lutris?
when you log in on LOL, the updating bar really takes forever to update, in my case it stucked on 44 %, then it takes forever to increase the bar, the exactly same thing happened to me with Play on linux when i installed LOL. so when LOL is being emulated via wine, is going to happen again... So it is only matter of time just to have that bar completely updated, and by the way this has happened to me hundreds of times, so Grab a cup of coffy or sleep and after 8 hours everything has to be fine 99% garanteed...
(sorry for my bad english xD) I got the same problem. Maybe the lol-full.zip doesn't downloaded correctly, try dowload it from your browser, delete the old files and uncompress the new on ~/Games/league-of-legends/drive_c I hope it helps you.

Problem with amd and intel drivers and mesa. right click on LoL in lutris>winetricks>select default prefix>Install windows DLL or component>directx9 then right click on LoL in lutris>brows files>Config>game.cfg and remove x3d_platform=1

Use Chromium instead, I had the same issue with Firefox :3
If I already have LoL files, do I still need to install it from Lutris? Or I can just copy and paste them somewhere inside Lutris's files?

Cant login into the new "PBE" -Client! Why? It always say that the combination of my password and username is incorrect..

Ok, so i got past through all that and when i am actually trying to get into a game w/ other people and it crashes instantly. some one help me.
its broken with linux', u cant play anymore but only with windows,we are waiting for a change :(
