I have the same graphics card as you, the 750ti. And when I downloaded the 384 driver, I booted it up and got a flashing underscore. I couldnt login or anything just a black screen. What do I do? I've basically tried everything and my system just wont let me download any sort of nvidia drivers.

I do have the same problem..it stays in black screen and then I force shutdown and then reboot it work and again I shut it down and turn it on..same issue again.

I installed the Drivers when ever i press the Nvidia driver in additional settings i go back to my Open Source driver

obs can't capture my screen in ubuntu 17.10 but it run correctly in 16.04. is there something wrong?

XinTao Liu You have to be on xorg to record using OBS. The new Wayland environment disables screen recording. Logout, click on the gear icon and switch your environment to "Ubuntu with xorg"
