Last month I cleansed the PCV for my dad's 940 turbo with an accidental mixture of petrol and diesel, but it worked like a dream!
I did notice however that a previous owner has done a flametrap delete, I don't know why, but I also fitted an oil catchcan to eliminate any excessive crankcase pressure as an overkill measure, so I guess and hope it balances itself out.
I checked my PCV today. Oh boy this was clogged! Cleaned it with dishwasher tabs. It worked great! Thanks a lot for the video :). I think I will remove the intake with fuel injection to install the pcv back. Not much space down there.
👍 👌👌. Thanks for the tip of only need to take off the carburetor. I thaught you "must" take off the hole intake. I also have think and in plan to do the cleaning of that system and se over it and hope it will be good so i dont need to buy new set of it.
The part @5:38 is a flame trap and not a filter.
thanks for the comment. i know that it's called a flame trap but for the people that don't know it looks just like a filter 😄
