I LOVE this episode! I recently walked away from a situationship when I realized that despite this guy being an amazing and kind human being, our lifestyle circumstances just weren't ideal to develop it into a real long-term relationship. However, I'm still having trouble telling myself I made the right choice because I keep wanting to revert back to this person due to scarcity mindset and dwelling on the amazing connection/chemistry we had...

Sabrina, I needed this one! I feel like we are so similar, throughout all the life experiences you speak of. Your podcasts are more like hanging out with a friend. I have listened to every single one over the years, they have been so healing. I love how real and genuine you are. Thank you for being you and highlighting very important struggles.

Let’s be real-those 'situationships' were really just 'shituationships.' 😂 But understanding that we lacked the tools to be healthy young adults helps us see that we were doing the best we could with the little care we received. This realization gives us the chance to shed light on the parts of ourselves that we can now develop in healthier ways, with compassion, empathy, and grace. When we break the cycle of shame, we open the door to healing and truly breaking those old, unhealthy patterns.
