Hollow Knight is an atmospheric adventure through the beautiful world of Hallownest, an abandoned insect kingdom whose haunted depths draw in the adventurous and brave with promises of treasures and answers to ancient mysteries. The game tells the story of an insect-like, silent, nameless knight on a quest to uncover the land's secrets. Wielding only a nail and the power of Soul magic, players must uncover the mystery of what happened to this lost civilization.

@@ninoding yeah, in a way that's something that takes quite a bit a bit of time, but at this point my guess is that it's all pretty much done, the ost and all, by now they might be just in poloshing phase, i think it's gonna release soon, if i have to guess maybe... dunno, february?

I hadn't noticed the choir, so when the chanted started during the sealed vessel my breath was literally taken away for a moment. Excellent performance.
How do you not notice the choir though? Did you not look at the video at all?

The magic Christopher Larkin created is magical. I rarely have composers leave an impression on me but he is something else.
Christopher Larkin and Andrew Prahlow are phenomenal. My two favorite games with the two greatest video game soundtracks in history.

You're literally the only artists I've found that add the much needed BANG to the start of Sealed vessel. I love it!
i absolutely love the hollow knight's fight not only because its a really great fight, but also the way the music and visuals really pile on the sympathy for the character. the music always changes to movement 4:35 when you reach the "second phase" of it's fight. the introduction of this new movement, coupled with the visuals of violently ramming it's nail through it's own chest really gets across the fact that this character is in great pain. it doesnt want to be the vessel of the plauge, and the whole battle comes off as a mercy killing rather than anything else.

I don’t think so. I believe they’re full-bred professional musicians in the ensemble. They just have to read the score sheet, constantly practice for the performance of these tracks at the live concert event, and by then, they’re all good and ready to go ☺️👍🏾 🎶🎵 🎻 🥁 🎺
I’m sure some of them have probably just because they’re curious. But most of them probably not
we’re actually just a bunch of college kids who play video games and music, so yeah a bunch of us have played the game, including the one who arranged this for us!
(there are some members who dont play games and joined just to play music, but i’d say a majority of us are gamers haha)

Because the description says that it's a student-led band I can imagine that most of them probably have played the game. People don't just make groups like that for things they aren't interested in. At the end of the day, they're students and people and everyone can enjoy a good video game.

The harpsichord is really important to mantis lords, that and that, despite being super great and awesome, the piece is sorta repetitive
