Thanks for watching! We are LOVING our time here in Scotland and want to try all of the best fish and chips! Where do you think the best fish and chip shop is? Don't forget to share this video with a friend who loves to travel!
@@EvanandLemon Visit Anstruther the locals cry it Ainster, in Fife on Scotland's East coast. A couple of very good chippies basically side by side right on the sea front. Just watch the Gulls. Nardini's in Largs, West coast isn't bad, or least was always good when I was there.
@@EvanandLemon Hey I have to push my country to repair the damage our bloody politicians do🤣🤣🤣 Oh by the way if you like whisky, there's a couple more you should look for, Auchentoshan a very drinkable selection of lowland malts and Knockando which if mishandled will knock you out👍🥃🥃
Hi, check out a company called "Loch's & Glen's" they own lots of hotels around Scotland and do 1 and 2 week holidays with food and trips included for exceptionally good prices, which are even cheaper outside peak holiday times of the year.
This couple are natural on camera / polite / and don't call every where in Scotland remote as if they are on Moon .and that is so refreshing .My two favourite things the Scottish countryside and Fish and Chips what's not to like ?.
Most seaside towns with an active fishing pier will usually have very good chippies (as they are usually getting the fish fresh daily straight from the mongers). Scenery is lovely throughout Scotland, but the real gem is when you start getting up into the highlands and islands; just be careful for the midgees which are these tiny little flying bugs. They're not harmful though, but they do bite and are very irritating and will make you itch; you'll see them predominantly around heather when it's dry at this time of year (so if you're out hiking anywhere just something to keep in mind). When looking for somewhere good to eat (either sit in or take out), best thing I'd suggest is just asking any local and they'll point you in the right direction. One other thing to consider trying also is a salt pepper chilli platter from any good Chinese; much like the tikka masala was made here for our palates, the Cantonese community also made the salt pepper chilli seasoning, packed with flavour and very tasty, ideal if you're looking for some comfort take-out food.

Hi guys, Just found your channel. ❤ We own an Alphard Camper (Alpy). Great wee vans. But very narrow beds. We have to sleep, 'top to tail'. I hope you worked out the loo, and where the chemical flush goes 😊. We currently live in Stirling, but have lived in Fife and Fort William. We could give you so many recommendations and secret spots to visit off the tourist trail. But you will have planned your own adventure. So I will narrow it down. Castle Tioram. Anstruther & Crail in Fife. And Stirling ( a lot quieter than Edinburgh). There is a great parking spot right underneath the castle. All the best. Lang may yer lum reek 😊
OMG the roundabouts!!! They got us lol... Got us lost. Driving on the other side of the road was fairly easy and we studied the UK road signs as well. That helped a lot.
Just a treat to find such a genuine, entertaining and informative channel in the sea of choice that is UA-cam. Have already subbed and I am loving your content!
The convoy van you had to follow is because there was a huge landslide in October that blocked the road, that's a temporary road that's been put in until they figure out what to do as the hill is still in a precarious state - I came through it today, weather was nothing like you had!
If you think the views are nice coming up past Loch Lomond are nice (which they are), I hope you get up towards Glencoe and Skye. The views up there are out of this world. And I say this as a Glaswegian.
@@EvanandLemon Hope you guys enjoy, be careful on the roads and if I had one recommendation it would be to get the wee ferry across to Raasay and do a tour at the distillery there. Hope the weather improves for youse, all the best!
Please for the love of god ask the locals how to pronounce Scottish place names. Other than that thanks for being nice about Luss and Oban and I hope you enjoy any other visits to my homeland.👍🏴🥃🍺❤️
@@EvanandLemon I watched your video where you visited my hometown, Glasgow. The Necropolis is amazing but there's so much history in Glasgow that most people are blissfully unaware of. Govan Old Parish church contains Viking Hogsback burial stones and Pictish carvings dating back over 1,000 years. Glasgow is home to the location of the oldest international football match and of course the National stadium plus the grounds of 4 senior football clubs and countless non league clubs. I suppose I should say something nice about Edinburgh, but what the hell, they wouldn't appreciate it😉😁

Ask for a special fish supper or a special supper - the fish is breadcrumbed rather than battered, which isn't healthy.
