I remember seeing someone on twitter saying something like "the 86 bee is so bad that it helps justify my argument that partsforming is valid" I took psychic damage reading that the first time
"Oh we're giving Springer a hammer? Why not a 1986 style plug figure of Charlie Watson to go with 86 Bumblebee?" Unironically I do think this is a awesome idea.
It's just that he tends to be REEEEALLY negative sometimes. I do think he overdoes it sometimes but hey, it's his own opinion. Plus, whenever he really likes a figure it just makes it stand out more.
People just habe this weird need to have everything be positive and if you're not positive about the thing they like then you might as well not when be a fan of it to them. I dunno why that is but it's like that in a looot of fandoms
Hasbro's weird distribution has made me twice as excited as I normally would be for like half of these. Australia just kinda- skipped Thundertron, and the Siege Springer is just unattainable on the aftermarket now. Bumblebee and Soundwave speak for themselves because "Ah yes, Soundwave and Bumblebee, they should be exclusives, they wouldn't sell on their own"
I showed my friend who loves Straxus the figure, and he started freaking out about it... He wasn't mad, he just thought it looked so good he couldn't contain his excitement. Also I love to just put the word "Ferocious" Infront of any image of the SS 86 Steeljaw, because funny.
Almost certainly won't come with a trailer, though. Hopefully it'll be compatible with some of the trailers that are already released. I'd love to use the one from my DotM Deluxe Prime with it (I bought that figure pretty much entirely because of the trailer but haven't been able to find another Prime that it properly fit since then) but that would mean that they'd have to break toy-accuracy and put a hole in the legs instead of a peg.
A wholly toy accurate mold in Generations was not something I expected. And I want it. Ngl, I’ve always preferred toy stylings to toon stylings. I like the details that come from the vehicle and the confidence in the fact that they turn into vehicles, and not having to hide away vehicle parts like on the toon designs. Also, shiny thing good.
It was such a bitter sweet reveal stream. On one hand there is basically nothing there I'm excited for - on the other hand I don't need another mortgage
The main thing with the Thundertron set is that the two new guys apparently can become a pirate mast for Tidal Wave with the accessories. But WOW I hate this current wave overall. Straxus is dope and I wish I could get the ice car by itself. Also am I the only one who likes Earthrise Soundwave NOT because it's G1 accurate but because I like it? Also I agree completely on the point about Hasbro's cheaping out. Soundwave, Steeljaw, Springer, and Bumblebee are absolutely Hasbro pushing their boundaries on what we're willing to buy. And Because those are all G1 they WILL win this time. This is why I usually try to get figures secondhand, especially ones people are ditching because a cleaner/better deco just dropped.
But to other reveals, this is the main reason why I made a post that I'll stop collecting Hasbro stuff until I get those I want, 'cause geez I'm quite disappointing for most of their stuff. And maybe the reason why Kapow toys want us to boycott them, it won't sell well.
I am personally hyped for the Leader Thundertron pack. Magneous combines very well with Thundertron's regular release and when I saw the RatBat pack in my mind was blown as it finally made the random slots on the figures right shoulder make sense, it's to have it perch on thundertron.
@@PerspectiveEndunfortunately it is a shitty reissue of ER Soundwave with Laserbeak (maybe repainted into Buzzsaw), Ravage (Whoever the hell they’d make Ravage into) and a third cassette. Probably rumble.
I love how Straxus looks and I didn't see people complaining about it. Frankly I barely remembered the rumors about it being a Galvatron repaint/retool so it was a nice suprise seeing it on the stream.
I love how 86 Springer comes with that one missile that he loaded into that one artillery cannon in that one scene...truly Springer would be incomplete without....I'm kind of surprised they didn't just put the whole artillery cannon in there too! Make it a Commander why don't ya!?
If no one makes an upgrade kit to give Slipstream a new cheat, more accurate wings (in both purple and teal) and an animated style head I will be disappointed.
Sadly yes, but it wouldn't be hard to parts swap. The head is just a ball joint, the wings have been shown by many reviewers to be removable and the chest is held together by two fill-up screws.
Yeah, I hate that. I legitimately hate that. Price Point is Price Point, if you are selling a multi pack then sell a multi pack, Leader should mean a better figure.
As someone who missed out on the entire War for Cybertron trilogy toyline, I'm okay with Springer and Soundwave. And I don't have Animated Prime because I collect pretty much exclusively Decepticons, so the Motormaster retool is very appealing to me.
Springer had a LOT of QC issues, and just in general was kind of clunky. The Soundwave is just lifeless though. So I can see them fixing Springer, but not Soundwave. Are you going to get Springer then?
4:57 Not gonna lie. I'm hoping Ravage gets his tail like Steeljaw did. 5:21 To be honest. The mold looks cool. In terms of design however, Titans Return Bee takes the win their. But then I had an idea. SS86 Bee mold, plus Titans Return Bee design, would make Hasbro a gold mine. I'd get it :) 8:05 Slipstream! Yes please! 9:19 Heck! Yes! Please! Worth the buy! I hope the 3rd one is Buzzsaw! :D The hype is real.
REALLY I mean we kind of knew that Leader Soundwave was going to be an Earthrise rerelease, but what’s even the point of making it a leader if you’re not going to include ALL the cassettes. And Thundertron gave me some hope that they would, since he has a full on deluxe as an accessory
I’ve just gotta say this again, this is why I respect ya, Perspective, you don’t cower or kowtow under pressure, you form an opinion, share your sincere thoughts, and stand by it with a minigun at your other side to defend it until the object of critique itself proves you wrong. You don’t just follow the bandwagon, you don’t sugarcoat everything, you point out the bullshit with vehement honesty and still will admit if you were wrong about something because you don’t want to shit on everything in the grand, you just want everyone to have skepticism, think about what they’re spending their money on, and demand better quality than what we’re getting. I may not agree with all your takes, for example I actually really like Metalhawk, don’t find myself as angry as I perhaps should be with the Missing Link prices, and pre-ordered Springer because I think he looks better than the Siege version. But human nature is to not align on every view, acknowledging the differences and still being able to go about your day while being cordial to even those you don’t align with. Which is why you getting death threats over a fucking toy is the most insane and disconnected-from-reality bull I’ve ever heard, and I’m almost more mad it somehow doesn’t surprise me. People have seriously gone insane these days and need a reality check, mental help, and ibuprofen. For what I do agree with, though, I’m definitely excited for Straxus, the new Bumblebee even though he’s not perfect, that Deluxe G1 Optimus, Quake (so long as the alt mode is good, which in the image he has completely new lower legs so here’s to hoping they reworked the transformation to actually look like a tank), Armada Galvatron because Armada is my lifeblood, and now that you pointed it out I’m so much more excited for that spiritual Missing Link Grimlock than I ever was for the SS86 one. I’m so hopeful we see more third parties do their own Missing Link stuff because that Grimlock is absolutely gorgeous, and it’s the first time I’ve seen a third party figure that actually looked like a retail mainline figure with a fun transformation and not a nightmare torture device that costs anywhere between a small loan and an apartment’s rent payment.
Thank you for the Kind Words. I just want to say what I believe, because if it's not why would I even be saying it. And that's what I want, I don't ever want to be in an Opinion Silo. I want fans and friends who disagree with me. I think the Missing link stuff is a Sign of the times, and we will see more of it. A lot more.
Hey PE! I just wanted to say that your analyses help me a lot of the time when it comes to my purchases. I might not always agree with you on what is or isn't a good figure, but I can always rely on you to be critical where you feel it's warranted, especially in regards to figure quality. Don't let the Twitter reactionaries demoralize you; you do excellent work!
When I saw 86 springer for the first time I actually said “Really? That’s it?” Because he’s such a disappointment. Sure he has new stuff, but he’s still the mid fucking Seige mold.
And retooled arms without useless junk, and no faux buttflap, and better articulation. You know what? Just make a new figure. I’m genuinely mad at hasbro for doing this. They can suck it. Hopefully 3rd party can make a decent voyager sized soundwave
I'm mostly disappointed that the Star Raider Thundertron with the Armorizer and Ratbat repaint as RID2015 Nightstrike wasn't revealed alongside the rest of the Star Raiders collection in the last Hasbro Pulse fanstream. And from what the rumored listing for this collection states, there's a Roadpig from the Junkion Crashbar that's yet to be revealed. -SS86 Steeljaw looks neato. Like the yellow speaker he comes with from the G1 episode where he had a sound volume fight with Soundwave. Looks like Hasbro might repack the yellow speaker in another Blaster cassette. -SS86 Bumblebee looks like a chibi version of the Netflix Bumblebee, and I like it. -Gamer Edition Decepticon Soldier. Knew that it was going to be a Barricade retool, and I'm fine with it. I'm army building this guy for from Cybertron game collection. -SS86 Springer looks almost the same as the Siege version. I honestly was expecting him to look more different and taller, but I like how he looks here. His helicopter rotor blades becomes a sword, he was the missile from his "I got better things to do than die" scene, and inside his right arm has the mini blaster he used to shoot down Starscream. -BB movie Skywarp, wish he has the G1 black colors with his purple, but he looks cool. Took Hasbro forever, but finally the original seeker trio will be united. -Comic book Straxus looks cool. Like how Hasbro used the Galvatron mold to make him. Especially since both Straxus's alt mode looks like Galvatron's cannon mode. Pipeline Spacebridge sneak peek: -A Bouldercrash repaint is on the way. -Returning from Titans Return, Quake is coming back in a more G1 design(from the Skullgrin mold) and has his two targetmasters. -Slipstream being a reuse of the Cyberverse Windblade mold, not surprising. Like in the Takaratomy legends comics, it looks like she used her interdimensional gyro-rotors in her jetwings to travel from that multiverse to this one. -The OG G1 Optimus Prime will be coming through the Legacy multiversal portal. That sounds awesome. -Metalhawk is soaring back to toy shelves, in a more toy colored paint scheme. -Animated Universe, The Motor Master, will be entering the ring of fighters in Legacy United. -I theorized that the leader class Soundwave would be the Netflix mold. But in G1 toy colors and to come with a bunch of his cassettes like in that G1 toy reissue in 2008. But the speculation around the Transformers fan community thought that it would be in his Marvel comics colors. Which I also hope for. But looks like it's not. He's just the Netflix Soundwave with three cassettes. My hope is that these cassettes are new characters like Enemy, Howlback, and Buzzsaw. -And like the core class Energon Megatron to Galvatron, Armada Universe Megatron will be his powerlinex repaint as Galvatron.
That fact that out of the three pack, the best part of it is the MAGNEOUS repaint (Calcitron) and NOT the voyager class (Thundertron) is honestly LAUGHABLE. (Although this is coming from someone who REALLY likes the Infernacs)
I think you are right honestly. Thundertron is not acceptable as a Voyager, and it's even more of a joke as a leader with pack ins that are more fun than it.
@@PerspectiveEnd Yea, despite the parts forming aspect, and the fact it’s just a repaint with a new head, atleast Calcitron doesn’t look or pose like something from my nightmare (yes, I’m angy because it only has ONE ankle pivot for some reason. Like they honestly should’ve just had him have two feet like a normal toy instead of having a peg leg, which gives him one ankle pivot) also the only thing the Legacy Thundertron has over his actual Prime version is the head, and then again, there is NO bar there. Aside from that, it’s overall WORSE as a design (an issue I had with the Legacy Prime figures as a whole, the fact they’re G1ified kinda peeves me off, since with the (possible) exception of Skyquake and Dreadwing, it doesn’t fit them at ALL. I don’t know why I’m taking this seriously either, isn’t like I care for TF Prime, or Thundertron.) and not to mention that the “leader” Thundertron might just be WORSE then the voyager version.
Highly disagree about the original Thundertron figure, but that "leader" is a joke. I hated ERs leaders, and we're playing the same game again it seems. Also I'm shocked how good Straxus looks. Love the new arm struts.
I don't actually have anything to add to what you said in the video, but signal boosting is fine too, right? I will say I appreciate the chance to get an animation-colors Springer with transforming rotors, since I was a bit too slow to get him at MSRP before and now he's about as much as a Leader Class with the collectors' market price bump anyway. Hopefully the ankles will have been firmed up as well.
Yeah, Thundertron is pretty bad, but that blue Magneous actually looks kind of neat. I'm sorry you got so much stupid hate over that. Pretty much all of the reveals were lame. Even Straxus seems very lacking in paint. I'm confused on the Soundwave. The Hasbro designers stated on a stream like a year ago that they were going to make a whole new mold for him. I guess corporate nixed it.
i despise that barricade figure, never picked it up, and i despise that wfc soldier for being a retool of it, but ill give it an ounce of credit, this is better, the kibble doesnt look as restricting on the arms, and, YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE THE WRIST SWIVEL.
It doesn't rememble either the Aero Drones, Tank Drones or Cycles Drones enough for that. Nor the Copter Drones or Assault Drones from season two. Oh, were you talking about Prime? You sweet summer child, those AREN'T real Vehicons.
I accidentaly gaslighted myself into really wanting the decepticon soldier, by convincing myself that he is just one of the clones that megatron made in the one episode where the decepticons play gta (to clarify, im refering to the one where tracks meets roul.) Also the decepticon soldiers' new name is Tod, and he is steves depressed older brother.
Prespective, it’s twitter, most people there will jump down your throat over an opinion. I’m also kind of disappointed with basically everything that was shown off, and that Bumblebee altmode seems more like Cliffjumper Also, did you hear about the IDW rodimus takara is making?
I agree with you about thundertron, he should have been a box set not a leader but i will definitly try to get him because i dont have any of the molds
Just to let you know I’m not trying to convince you that the new thundertron release is good I’m just telling you why I personally like it First of all I like repaints wether they mean anything or not I like seeing what molds look like in different colors that’s just part of how I enjoy the franchise Second I didn’t get thundertron yet anyway And third the Ratbat retool is a homage to an rid 2015 character and I really like the designs from that show and would like to see more of them in general
I love that everyone I listened to about Transformers has used the Missing Link Optimus Prime at home line. I was mad about the Soundwave because I swear BMAC and crew said they were making their own version of Soundwave.
Here’s my thoughts: -Only buy Springer if you don’t already have the Seige mold -Buy the 86 Bumblebee if you want a toon-accurate alt mode or just don’t have a good representation of the character -Get the new Thunderhowl if you’re someone like me who doesn’t have any of the three. I love this thing (I think the foot comes as an accessory. -Leader Soundwave is something I want because I don’t have the Earthrise. It’s also rumoured to have 3 cassettes or more. -SS86 Steeljaw, Rumble, and Frenzy are way worse than Eject (A bonus with a basically perfect Voyager) -Straxus looks good but I’d need it to be normal leader price or less to consider buying it.
Not defending the LDR thundertron, but he does have his foot, its packed with the other accsesorys, and you can see it attached to the sword on the back of the box... TBF, the reveals were really mid, besides A-level bumblebee and steeljaw, i saw no need to preorder/buy anything... (Also FYI, the A-level figures are going to be a sepetate release to the upcoming SS deluxes, meaning they will be getting their own shelfspace, and will be stocked all year, so expect an unusual amount of 86 bees and TFone optimi...)'
I think the revealed once all look pretty good. I honestly really like how Springer looks, he was mayorly retooled and the extra accessories are pretty fitting too.
I'm going to have some faith that Hasbro realizes that GE Barricade is hot garbage and that they fixed the problems and made a really good figure of the Deception Trooper because I really want it.
All things considered the only reason why I’d get SS86 Soundwave is to get the cassettes for my Soundwave since I got him during Legacy and I don’t recall his cassettes releasing during Legacy.
I honestly like the 86 Bumblebee and Springer- I always wanted a springer figure, and it looks kinda neat! I also like the accessories it comes with My ONLY issue with Straxus is the comic stuff on it, but I know it's part of the line he's from, so it's aight- I just hope they release him normally in United! After that, I gotta say that I honestly like the windblade figure-
I can already bet half the figures won't be avaliable at my local stores let alone the good figures releasing within the next 40 years. Still only got Legacy year 1 figures, studio series rotb airazor and legacy united beast machines cheetor shelf warming at all the stores I visited. So I will be waiting to see your videos on the figures
Hahahaha I gotta admit, I'm lookin forward to gettin that Thundertron, I wasn't able to get the first release and I've always really liked the character. That said I had imagined something a lil more pirate-esque to be what bumped him up to leader.
The Thundertron was something I kinda predicted and mentioned in the interview we did, that being basically the voyager class but with more accessories. But I didn't expected the extra accessories being a third deluxe rock truck that tries to become accessories and a recolored cosset.
This video made you my favorite TF reviewer Edit: if the “leader” soundwave is bad whatever the top figure in the reply’s is I will buy it out of spite for the soundwave
I’m not kidding when I say I breathed a sigh of relief when they said that 86 bee isn’t a partsformer I was not gonna get that bad masterpiece bee retool that calls itself Netflix bumblebee
I may get the springer for 2 reasons 1. I dont have either versions of the siege mold 2. It seems to have a sword that actually transforms into the rotors like the T30, and i am a sucker for extra pack in accessories that transform.
Im going to assume soundwaves 3rd cassette will be a siege rumble/frenzy mold since thundertron is coming with a ratbat mold and they were mold mates. So they're basically throwing in the leftover plastic from the thundertron 3 pack as to save some money.
Try Buzzsaw. In fact I'm betting that the only reason this is in Legacy United is because there was no way of putting Buzzsaw in the Studio 86 line. We've already gotten Studio 86 Rumble and Frenzy so this will be about them filling out the cassettes fully.
Here are my thoughts on all these reveals: 86 Steeljaw- About time that Blaster's cassettes are getting some love now after only Eject and Rewind. GE Decepticon Soldier- Kinda mixed on this one. Looks interesting, but may or may not get. 86 Bumblebee- I like how this looks, and I see the potential repaints/retools for other characters, but a little disappointed that he isn't a Volkswagen Beetle. BBM Skywarp- About damn time, Hasbro. Another BBM character for my collection. Now how about the red, orange, dark green, and teal blue seekers from the movie too? Yes those colors exist. Watch the Cybertron scene if you don't believe me. 86 Springer- Again, I'm a little mixed on this. I can see the retooling on this one, but at the same time, I still see the Siege mold looking at it. Comic Straxus- Looks good. Might get this one. First look at Star Raiders Thundertron- I love this, especially with the added in Armorizor. Now for the Teasers: Energon Galvatron- eh. Colors looks good, but probably not picking up this one. Purple Bouldercrash- Immediate joy. Another Armorizor, the army keeps expanding. G1 Quake- Finally, the Decepticon Targetmasters are complete, to go with Spinister and Needlenose. Slipstream- looking forward to this one. First Slipstream I'll buy. G1 Optimus- Eh? I understand something for the 40th anniversary, but not sure about getting him. G1 Metalhawk- Might get him as I missed out on him. If he's metallic, may get the OG too. Animated Motormaster- Looking forward to this, if only for the fact that I hope they do the other Animated Stunticons. G1 Soundwave- All I'm saying is that I hope one of the 3 cassettes he comes with is Buzzsaw. He hasn't had a mainline release since Legacy Evolution Core Soundblaster. Armada Galvatron- Might get him, as the Megatron was incredible.
I’m happy to get Netflix Soundwave since I couldn’t get it when it came out. And the prices on eBay are OUTRAGEOUS. But I understand your point. What next, are they gonna release earthrise optimus with more bullshit
9:57 OK what the hell hasbro, you could've at least retooled the legacy blaster, but YOU SELL THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN WITH ONE NEW THING AND CALL IT A BRAND NEW FIGURE?
Thanks for not mentioning Robosen at all. That's the most tiresome part of the stream for me, it feels like it is their obligation to remind us those things exist for every now and then.
the roosen are almost as infuriating to me as the non transforming stuff. their only redeeming quality is the fact they're a marvel of engineering and are in some way, pushing the limits of robotics.
That new missing link deluxe Optimus I’m so hyped for, that’s about the only thing from the stream really, and yeah it sucks to get death threats online, I’m glad it didn’t get you down but good luck in the future
Edit. Sorry auto correct I typed that at like 4 in the morning before work, you should play WFC and swear or smth idk just do like a roast a man’s while playing the game
Ngl looking at that 3 pack, the only thing I’m interested in is the repaint of Rabat, I think that casette would look badass with the giant skull, when it’s put in Merc Soundblaster. I’m a little mad that I missed out on a Netflix bumblebee cause I was waiting for the 86 and I was disappointed, and I like the straxus I’m just hoping we get a version with a bit more paint as the comic version has the gap in between lines when using the color fill in mspaint effect with some comic Ben-day slapped on top. If we get him with a little bit more silver in there, I’d scoop it up.
Honestly ive seen people review the 86 bumblebee and i gotta say... its not half bad The transformation is completely different then the ER cliffjumper and not to mention not bullshit like it either Everything tabs in well in robot mode and in beetle mode. And the best part. The backpack doesn't look like shit. It's actually really good. I never thought it was possible to make a good bumblebee figure. I thought when they made mp-45 I thought it was all down hill from there but no it's actually really good I mean granted the backpack is attached to a ugly spine but atleast it's not partsforming or dai atlas's spine
Couple thoughts. Thundertron three pack: glad this exists, glad I can get him with the head he always should've had. Nightstrike is a cool bonus because now my Soundblaster will have a Cassette and I can justify making him a pirate. All three versions of the Magneous mold will look cool together as a trio. Steeljaw: can't wait to give him to Twincast and potentially a Nightstalker repaint too. Bumblebee: yet another mold they won't turn into Tap-Out or Gylph. FOC Con Soldier: typical Endy. Recognize that this is a perfect army builder. Springer: Marvel Wrecker version looked better. Straxus: looks awesome, can't wait. Quake: love the TR figure, so I might skip it, we'll see. Slipstream: can't resist. Core OP: yellow eyes forever. Metalhawk: underrated figure. Gets too much hate. Though I think Ferak looks cooler. Motormaster: his beard reminds me of Tim Curry. Armada Galvatron: version I'm getting for my shelf. Soundwave: should've been the Marvel version instead. Purple skin and big pouty lips.
I think Quake does has substantial retooling, considering the only parts he directly shares are the front chest and feet. Be weird to make the whole legs treads if it just transforms the same way
Thoughts on the upcoming SS figures: 86 Steeljaw: he looks okay, but I'm not that excited for him. WFC Decepticon Soldier: congratulations, Soldier, you took Barricade and made him slightly more appealing to me. Only problem is that doesn't mean much as he looks to be the third worst SS figure of them all, beaten out by Barricade and Pablo. BB Skywarp: I am excited for this guy, though I find it funny how his box art render looks like a digibashed Thundercracker. 86 Springer: not hyped for this guy aside from being my first Springer. The fact that this is the equivalent to The Fallen and Optimus Primal from the past two years by being the final Leader Class of the year is shocking. 86 Bumblebee: this would work better as Cliffjumper with a new chest and feet.
As a Bumblebee maniac, I’m definitely interested in 86 Bumblebee. A version of Siege Bumblebee that doesn’t have parts-forming, SIGN ME THE FUCK UP.

I am personally hyped for the Leader Thundertron pack. Magneous combines very well with Thundertron's regular release and when I saw the RatBat pack in my mind was blown as it finally made the random slots on the figures right shoulder make sense, it's to have it perch on thundertron.
The reveal of those slots being for a bat tape to perch on him is immensely disappointing to me
I wholeheartedly agree that they are going to do Soundwave so dirty.
It's sad to see one of the Best Bois in the Franchise, get done so raw.
@@PerspectiveEndI now regret not buying the legacy siege repack in the hopes this would be a new mould 😭
Maybe it's not a widespread thing, but people have come to me angry about it, so I just assumed that's what was happening.
6:35 You forgot to mention his Iconic Hammer!
The hammer he's Iconic for not having.
I mean that is the joke. It’s such a stupid accessory because neither he, nor anyone else in that movie had that.
6:58 perspective end asking why people are upset is the most ironic thing I’ve ever seen in my life
I love how 86 Springer comes with that one missile that he loaded into that one artillery cannon in that one scene...truly Springer would be incomplete without....I'm kind of surprised they didn't just put the whole artillery cannon in there too! Make it a Commander why don't ya!?
Don't worry in 5 years he's going to get retooled again, this time he will have different shins and come with the artillery cannon
I am absolutely stoked for deluxe prime
If no one makes an upgrade kit to give Slipstream a new cheat, more accurate wings (in both purple and teal) and an animated style head I will be disappointed.
So basically replacing like half the figure?
Sadly yes, but it wouldn't be hard to parts swap. The head is just a ball joint, the wings have been shown by many reviewers to be removable and the chest is held together by two fill-up screws.
I believe Diamondbolt summed it up best. The size class means nothing but the price point.
@@PerspectiveEndMost definitely
2:44 this gotta be the most biggest crash out I have seen in my life🤣
4:57 Not gonna lie.
I'd get it :)
8:05 Slipstream! Yes please!
9:19 Heck! Yes! Please! Worth the buy! I hope the 3rd one is Buzzsaw! :D
The hype is real.
REALLY
I mean we kind of knew that Leader Soundwave was going to be an Earthrise rerelease, but what’s even the point of making it a leader if you’re not going to include ALL the cassettes.
A lot more.
Mr. End, whats your opinion on what should come first in a transformer reveiw? The alt mode or the robot mode?
I always start with robot, because I have more to say about it than most Vehicle modes, but I don't think it's wrong if the vehicle comes first.
@@PerspectiveEnd Is that the same when the alt mode is a animal?
And I also cannot believe one of the guys in the stream says that the sound wave Is their favorite item of the year
Yeah that was just Sad Hyping BS. No way anyone cares about a Repack.
Soundwave should have 20 cassettes to justify leader from my POV
And retooled arms without useless junk, and no faux buttflap, and better articulation.
You know what? Just make a new figure. I’m genuinely mad at hasbro for doing this. They can suck it. Hopefully 3rd party can make a decent voyager sized soundwave
Hasbro's been packaging accessories separate from the figure for a while now. I highly doubt the foot's missing lol
Potentially, but we've not seen either way yet. So going by the leak it seems like it's missing.
Pipeline Spacebridge sneak peek:
-A Bouldercrash repaint is on the way.
@@PerspectiveEnd
Yea, despite the parts forming aspect, and the fact it’s just a repaint with a new head, atleast Calcitron doesn’t look or pose like something from my nightmare (yes, I’m angy because it only has ONE ankle pivot for some reason.
I love the Bumblebee Movie Seekers and I'm so happy with how Skywarp looks, thank god they didn't use clear plastic for the cockpit this time
this genuinely might be my favorite video of yours
I agree with literally everything and man this video is something else.
7:08 straxus is the one I’m looking forward to the most ngl
Yeah, Thundertron is pretty bad, but that blue Magneous actually looks kind of neat. I'm sorry you got so much stupid hate over that. Pretty much all of the reveals were lame. Even Straxus seems very lacking in paint. I'm confused on the Soundwave. The Hasbro designers stated on a stream like a year ago that they were going to make a whole new mold for him. I guess corporate nixed it.
.
i despise that barricade figure, never picked it up, and i despise that wfc soldier for being a retool of it, but ill give it an ounce of credit, this is better, the kibble doesnt look as restricting on the arms, and, YOU CAN ACTUALLY USE THE WRIST SWIVEL.
Love you Perspectiveend keep doing what you’re doing.😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
The Decepticon Soldier is only good to get to replicate the Vehicons, especially their role as being fodder
It doesn't rememble either the Aero Drones, Tank Drones or Cycles Drones enough for that. Nor the Copter Drones or Assault Drones from season two. Oh, were you talking about Prime? You sweet summer child, those AREN'T real Vehicons.
@@mrsamaritan6881 no they aren't but the play the same role as fodder to the point I couldn't care less about their differences
just get the APC toys reissues.
iirc there's even a double pack for both the car and jet.
But who wants to army build a terrible figure. Just use axelgrease as vehicons. It’s a much better figure and you can customise her
I have no doubt in my mind that the extra cassette is Buzzsaw(the yellow version of Lazerbeak).
It could be Ratbat, that is clearly in production going by Thundertron.
@@PerspectiveEnd Well, this aged well.
Yeah, you put WORK into forcing your self to want it.
man, you should be known as PerspectrodamusEnd
Prespective, it’s twitter, most people there will jump down your throat over an opinion.
I’m also kind of disappointed with basically everything that was shown off, and that Bumblebee altmode seems more like Cliffjumper
Also, did you hear about the IDW rodimus takara is making?
I agree with you about thundertron, he should have been a box set not a leader but i will definitly try to get him because i dont have any of the molds
2:20 yeah as someone who is on tf Twitter often it's actually hell and people wishing death on people for NOT LIKING A TOY are insane
Absolute insanity. That Toy Guy got called a slur because he liked one of the masterpiece trains.
Just to let you know I’m not trying to convince you that the new thundertron release is good I’m just telling you why I personally like it
First of all I like repaints wether they mean anything or not I like seeing what molds look like in different colors that’s just part of how I enjoy the franchise
Second I didn’t get thundertron yet anyway
And third the Ratbat retool is a homage to an rid 2015 character and I really like the designs from that show and would like to see more of them in general
I love that everyone I listened to about Transformers has used the Missing Link Optimus Prime at home line.
I was mad about the Soundwave because I swear BMAC and crew said they were making their own version of Soundwave.
It's the Perfect way to Describe it.
Here’s my thoughts:
-Only buy Springer if you don’t already have the Seige mold
-Buy the 86 Bumblebee if you want a toon-accurate alt mode or just don’t have a good representation of the character
-Get the new Thunderhowl if you’re someone like me who doesn’t have any of the three. I love this thing (I think the foot comes as an accessory.
-Leader Soundwave is something I want because I don’t have the Earthrise. It’s also rumoured to have 3 cassettes or more.
-SS86 Steeljaw, Rumble, and Frenzy are way worse than Eject (A bonus with a basically perfect Voyager)
-Straxus looks good but I’d need it to be normal leader price or less to consider buying it.
I mean, stratus is normal leader price, you just need to order it from pulse, which means paying for shipping, unless you have an order over 75 bucks.
@@isuckatusernames4297 “Hasbro pulse is not available in your region.”
Or at least it wasn’t last I checked about 3 months ago.
@@MitchBam yeah, its kinda random and from what I heard the service itself kinda sucks
I honestly really like how Springer looks, he was mayorly retooled and the extra accessories are pretty fitting too.
hasbro pulled up to the stream and said “oops, all shit!”
I had ignored the Thundertron reveal, so I didn't give it much thought. Your take is 💯 spot on. Which is really depressing about Soundwaves
Thank you! Though I should have expected a less Hostile Reaction here, as I'm not on twitter.
@@PerspectiveEnd Well it is twitter lol.
I'm going to have some faith that Hasbro realizes that GE Barricade is hot garbage and that they fixed the problems and made a really good figure of the Deception Trooper because I really want it.
I envy your optimism, but not what your fate is likely to be because of it.
@@PerspectiveEnd yup, I'm fully prepared to be disappointed. The sliver of hope is very small but still there.
All things considered the only reason why I’d get SS86 Soundwave is to get the cassettes for my Soundwave since I got him during Legacy and I don’t recall his cassettes releasing during Legacy.
I can tell you right now, there are cheaper ways to get more cassettes than buying a bad leader figure.
Honestly, I didn't even know that was a Ratbat repaint until you pointed it out. I thought it was the head of a battle axe at first.
How much do you want to bet that because they are clearly currently producing that, the 1 Extra Cassette Soundwave is coming with is Ratbat.
@@PerspectiveEnd Well, if we can shove a stick up its exhaust port, Long live Axebat.
I honestly like the 86 Bumblebee and Springer- I always wanted a springer figure, and it looks kinda neat! I also like the accessories it comes with
My ONLY issue with Straxus is the comic stuff on it, but I know it's part of the line he's from, so it's aight- I just hope they release him normally in United!
After that, I gotta say that I honestly like the windblade figure-
I'm personally super here for the Cell shaded stuff, but to each their own.
Also... You monster.
@@PerspectiveEnd the Undertale kinda monster or the one that keeps you up at night lmao
I just want a damn Soundwave that turns into a tape recorder
I sympathies with that desire.
Hey at least the Airazor rules.
Hahahaha I gotta admit, I'm lookin forward to gettin that Thundertron, I wasn't able to get the first release and I've always really liked the character. That said I had imagined something a lil more pirate-esque to be what bumped him up to leader.
YOU BETRAY THE LAW!!! I am obviously the law in this scenario.
And yeah I expected anything better "New Head, brighter colors."
The Thundertron was something I kinda predicted and mentioned in the interview we did, that being basically the voyager class but with more accessories. But I didn't expected the extra accessories being a third deluxe rock truck that tries to become accessories and a recolored cosset.
This video made you my favorite TF reviewer
Edit: if the “leader” soundwave is bad whatever the top figure in the reply’s is I will buy it out of spite for the soundwave
9:38 Now the only question is has Hasbro finally remembered Buzzsaw exists.
I’m not kidding when I say I breathed a sigh of relief when they said that 86 bee isn’t a partsformer I was not gonna get that bad masterpiece bee retool that calls itself Netflix bumblebee
That is very relieving yes.
@@PerspectiveEnd yeah
I may get the springer for 2 reasons
1. I dont have either versions of the siege mold
2. It seems to have a sword that actually transforms into the rotors like the T30, and i am a sucker for extra pack in accessories that transform.
I was originally so hyped for leader soundwave. Then I found out it was a straight repack of the earthrise and my heart died
I know exactly how you feel. That Sounwave was overhyped when it came out, and I think just about everyone has realized it just wasn't it chief.
6:33 How are the colors worse? they are animation accurate, I thought you only liked cartoon accuracy when it comes to the g1 designs.
I think I accidentally predicted them doing that repack of Netflix Soundwave. And I now regret saying I would want that.
You've cursed us all.
Are Leader Springer's four new accessories really worth $5 each? Plus a $5 for extra hinges and wrist blaster?
5:42 oddly enough he’s nearly or at mp scale which is funny heck most g1 bees are at that scale
Here are my thoughts on all these reveals:
86 Steeljaw- About time that Blaster's cassettes are getting some love now after only Eject and Rewind.
Now for the Teasers:
Energon Galvatron- eh.
As far as Soundwave goes I'm waiting on a studio Series 86 version
I’m happy to get Netflix Soundwave since I couldn’t get it when it came out. And the prices on eBay are OUTRAGEOUS. But I understand your point. What next, are they gonna release earthrise optimus with more bullshit
9:57 OK what the hell hasbro, you could've at least retooled the legacy blaster, but YOU SELL THE EXACT SAME THING AGAIN WITH ONE NEW THING AND CALL IT A BRAND NEW FIGURE?
A legacy blaster retool would have been way better.
"trains, pirates, and gundam" hmm yes i wonder who that is
No telling honestly.
6:11 As an emperor kumquat subscriber, I’m highly offended that you just called a vehicon a non character
The missing link bumblebee and cliffjumper are literally the same as Impossible Toys versions from over a decade ago.
Out of the two you've shown off so far, I like soon to meet the eye, it's just so smart
Edit. Sorry auto correct I typed that at like 4 in the morning before work, you should play WFC and swear or smth idk just do like a roast a man’s while playing the game
Give out what? Huh?
Sorry again for my horrible dyslexic spelling
I thank God every day that I don't have a Twitter.
Truly a wise decision you have made.
I wonder if there will be an upgrade kit for the animated Motormaster with a black Optimus head to make it a nemesis prime
Man just man I just want both the legacy slipstream and the comic edition straxus
Yet there's not a lot this time though I'm super thrilled to see, a few things look pretty good, but most of this is a skip for me.
Honestly ive seen people review the 86 bumblebee and i gotta say... its not half bad
The transformation is completely different then the ER cliffjumper and not to mention not bullshit like it either
Everything tabs in well in robot mode and in beetle mode.
And the best part. The backpack doesn't look like shit.
It's actually really good. I never thought it was possible to make a good bumblebee figure. I thought when they made mp-45 I thought it was all down hill from there but no it's actually really good
I mean granted the backpack is attached to a ugly spine but atleast it's not partsforming or dai atlas's spine
I've been avoiding the reviews to keep my first impressions clean.
But I am very hopeful for the figure. It looks decent. Not amazing yet, but decent.
Be weird to make the whole legs treads if it just transforms the same way
Hoping the store I buy hard to find TFs from is gonna stock Straxus, cuz DAMN i want one now!
I think it's a Walmart Exclusive, so you might have a worse time than normal.
@@PerspectiveEnd Was announced as a Pulse exclusive thing on the stream, so maybe those are a lot harder to come by? Not sure.
Thoughts on the upcoming SS figures:
86 Steeljaw: he looks okay, but I'm not that excited for him.
Does the site from hell happen to start with a R or T?
Yes it did. The latter.
