I'm just a humble Aussie, living in Australia. I FREAKING LOVE SPAM!!!!! Most people here think it's garbage, but I absolutely love it. A late night snack after work is just slicing slabs off and eating it. Yummo!
I know that's right 😂😂😂 And I bet you would love souse meat. It's my native country staple, breakfast- lunch- dinner, whenever! If you ever see it get it!!! Thank me later 😊
I've been waiting for you to come to the Philippines since 1918. Your flight is super delayed. You're one of the biggest food you tubers who haven't been here yet.
Maaaaan I’ve been watching this guy do this for the longest time, the reason I watch this guy is because there is no bullshittery involved just good food nothing fancy. Mad respect.
dude i watched u cooked since i was a kid how time flies them voice got deep af my fav was the goku feast man watched that dozens of times and the naruto one
Growing up in Northern Ontario Canada - SPAM was king. We always took a couple of cans with us when going hunting/camping. After a long day in the woods - fried spam on the camp fire? GOLD! Anyone who hates spam - has never been poor or worked a hard day in their life.
Kopiko and Nescafe are the 2 popular coffees in the Philippines despite being Indonesian and Swiss but Great Taste coffee is the Filipino origin coffee which i just found out about it now which is apparently my favorite
I am happy how quang tran make /eat filipino dishes often after tasting his 1st filipino food mukbang in his car with sisig longganisa and pancit, and big thanks to manila express for giving quan a very authentic filipino dishes! Thank you bro for loving filipino foods!
When you zoomed out and was having that manual garlic processor workout…I died 😂! That made my day! No pain, no gain! You are too funny my Vietnamese brother! Delicious looking breakfast! I want to eat that despite being a vegetarian! Yum yum 🤤. I’ll have to make a vegetarian version!
Our longanisa should be cooked that way because it's round and might not get fully cooked if we don't do that but he used a different longanisa which is from the supermarket and may have been pre cooked from the factory. Our longanisa is fresh and it usually came from the market
corn beef n can beans amazing,, also,, mas potatoes add fried onions diced n add corn beef fried onion to potaoes,, then make them into meat cakes dusted with flour , bron in a skillett,, omg the best,,,, looks good Quang
I gotta say at first i was skeptical that it.was an ultimate filipino breakfast! But while watching it!! Yes i agree that is an ultimate filipino breakfast!!! That is how i also prepare the breakfast for my family!! Corned beef, spam, longganisa, fried egg and bangus but sometimes i use dried fish we called tuyo and sardines but if theres no sardines i use chicken noodles as a soup on the side😊 leftovers will be eaten for lunch! Haha
Filipino breakfast has evolved, from classic pandesal at itlog or mantekilya as palaman. or steamed rice/ garlic fried rice, boiled or scrambled/sunside up, tapa or fried fish or dried fish, kamatis now you have spam corned beef sausage/hotdog
Sir Tran, Thank you so much for always featuring how great Filipino Foods are. Our Food is always under rated worldwide but I noticed now that our Food was making a Big Scene now especially our Lumpia and Famous Jollibee. A big Thank to you! Hail to The Quang!
This is actually a really good spread. It brings me joooy and now I want some of these too! Just some notes that you don't really need to worry about but I'm sharing anyway haha. - While we have recipes where we cook sardines (often we add misua, water, and wintermelon), we often keep it as is (straight from the can) because we eat it with its sauce which calls for a lot of rice! - Since Spam is quite expensive, we grew up eating MaLing instead. It's a brand of luncheon meat which we also sometimes dip in beaten eggs before cooking. - When we have sweet meats like longganisa or tocino, sliced fresh tomatoes are often eaten with it. 🤣
Try sardines with calamansi (add as much as you like to suit your taste) with fried rice, fried chicken, and a small portion of tortang talong and Kopiko for breakfast. I like putting it all on my spoon and savoring all the elements of the flavors.
You nailed the typical meats in a Filipino breakfast! My suggestion if you're going to do this again, look for the boneless bangus (milkfish) if it's available in your local asian food market/grocery, they're usually on the frozen seafood section. They won't be as troublesome to eat. As for the sardines, the brand you got is spot-on. And while you can have any variant of canned sardines for breakfast in the Philippines, the Spanish Style variant is the typical one to have. The Tausi (black bean) variant you had isn't bad, but it doesn't really pair up well for the typical "silog" breakfast.
You can buy Bangus or Milkfish that is already boneless. So it wont feel like a chore eating it. We also dip it in vinegar or soy sauce with calamansi. Next time put bit of cornstarch, salt and pepper on your bangus then deep fry it. Hope this helps!
A typical Filipino breakfast will only have 1 protein. That plate is already the salary of a Filipino for 3 to 6 days. Filipinos dont eat Fried Duck egg.
Milk Fish or Bangus in the Philippines tend to have lots of small fish bones. But due to how they are prepared, which is being marinated in vinegar. It looses the hardness of some of the bones and some of the fishy taste. Here in the Philippines, you can even get a "Boneless" version of it, where the bones that are left are in the fin and 2 small hard bones in the middle part of the fish. The Fat of that fish is the most delicious part in my opinion! Super good with rice. Oh! and the skin as well, if you fry it enough is super crispy! Goes AMAZINGLY well with fried rice.
bro the filipino way to cook longganisa is cook it in water just enough to cover them let the water evaporate let it fry in it’s own oil til it has a lil cooked all the way through.
If boneless milkfish (Bangus) is available, that'll be great! Then you can dip it in spicy vinegar. Then there's salted egg paired with chopped onions and tomatoes. 😋
ultimate pinoy breakfast for me is fried danggit and pusit with ginisang eggs with tomatoes and onions, plus garlic longganisa and tortang talong or fried eggplant with sesame seeds.. the best breakfast ever
What country are you from and what is your traditional breakfast every morning?
Denmark, Oatmeal!
Indonesia, rice with banana leaf (Lontong) and Fried vegetable fritters with spicy peanuts sauce 😅😅
Ham, eggs, grits with lots of butter and black pepper with the ham grease as gravy, buttered toast with jelly

Australia, I worked nights. I don't have breakfast, lunch, or dinner routine. I just have meals.
Longanisa, fried egg and garlic fried rice is my go-to Filipino breakfast!! So good!

I'm just a humble Aussie, living in Australia. I FREAKING LOVE SPAM!!!!! Most people here think it's garbage, but I absolutely love it. A late night snack after work is just slicing slabs off and eating it. Yummo!
Fellow Aussie here too! I freaking love spam. Always get the side eyes when I fry this up. But they don’t know what they missing.
@@BrazenBaus I thought I was the only one!
@@IamJaneS but then they love devon hahaha
@@BrazenBaus devon is ok too, if it's rolled up with mashed potato!
I know that's right 😂😂😂
And I bet you would love souse meat. It's my native country staple, breakfast- lunch- dinner, whenever! If you ever see it get it!!! Thank me later 😊

Filipinos are hard working people so they need a full breakfast meal to start their day.
Agreeeee
This!
You got almost all the "silog" variations. Tapsilog, Hotsilog, Bacsilog, Tocilog, Chicksilog and Pakaplog are missing.
Watching while eating garlic fried rice, tocino, and scrambled egg. ❤
the longganesa supposed tobe cooked with smallamounts of water before frying with own oils that came out
Our longanisa should be cooked that way because it's round and might not get fully cooked if we don't do that but he used a different longanisa which is from the supermarket and may have been pre cooked from the factory. Our longanisa is fresh and it usually came from the market
Best for daing na bangus (milkfish) is marinating with garlic, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Great video!
Making something that you haven't have for a while now, how about homemade Ramen
Dominican Republic and our traditional breakfast is Mangu con los tres golpe, that's smashed green plantain with fried salami, eggs and cheese

This is like the Filipino equivalent of a full english breakfast. I would only be eating this if I were eating once a day, 22-23 hour fast.
next time quang dip the longanisa and salted milkfish in vinegar…it adds a whole new element to filipino breakfast!
All my favorites in one😍😍

Malaysia, and of course we start our day with iconic Nasi Lemak🔥
Traditional Filipino breakfast consists of tuyo (dried) fish (usually herring), sunnyside up or over easy fried eggs (chicken) and fried rice.
Add Tuyo(dried herring) and Tapa(fried skirt steak) next time 👍🤘🤘
You can buy Bangus or Milkfish that is already boneless. So it wont feel like a chore eating it. We also dip it in vinegar or soy sauce with calamansi.

Best meal.. happy you like it . im drooling

I love spam ova easy egg sandwich with mayo on one side ketchup on da ada and tobasco on da egg!! ❤
Sir, you forgot to sip some coffee after each and every mouthful......hehehehe. Filipino approved
i recommend try "tender juicy" hotdogs (regular), pure food corned beef and pampanga's best tocino young pork...
I'm from Lompoc California I'm Mexican anything looks good in El burrito and with some good salsa
Quang, you’re forgetting vinegar for the longganisa, and the fish. And also diced tomatoes and red egg. Enjoy!
Quang tran is certified filipino now 😂❤ he loves filipino food
Cheers from Vancouver Quang! 🍻👍🏼
That all looks amazing❤🇨🇦
ultimate pinoy breakfast for me is fried danggit and pusit with ginisang eggs with tomatoes and onions, plus garlic longganisa and tortang talong or fried eggplant with sesame seeds.. the best breakfast ever
Palm Corned Beel also needs some garlic, but not super fried... you also need to lightly salt it.
TITO QUANG THE GOAT ❤
Bro everytime i watch any of your videos i get so hungry and start tearing down my whole kitchen..
KOPIKO is a product of Indonesia but we love it here in the Philippines!
