5:27 Chris T that thing is called a roundabout, you go round it not over it.
and he has to give way!
Give way to the right, right? Wrong. You give way to vehicles already on the roundabout.
Yeh no attempt at all was made to steer perhaps his steering rack is broken 😂
@@KenFingerloveYou give way to vehicles approaching from the right - they do NOT have to be on the roundabout. Highway code rule 185.
Roundabout = Chicane to most drivers!
Poor Finn, a child trapped in a mans body.
the my polo is quicker comment was funny because everything on the road is quicker than a polo
i think Finn is a child full stop
they both bored the piss out of me.
He cut the clip just before the van did him on the merge in turn.
Poor Jon backing the bully?
5:27 Chris T having the nerve to complain when they can’t even navigate the mini roundabout correctly 😂😂
I think we can guess the T. 😉
and that little car was already on the roundbout.
185 watch out for all other road users already on the roundabout; be aware they may not be signalling correctly or at all.
@@dayvno it’s five way to the right not already on, second car was definitely wrong tho…
Uses mini roundabout as a speed bump and wants others to treat it like a roundabout… 🤔
@@alyx6427No. you give away to car on your right already on the roundabout… bellend
Now, whilst I think Finn is correct initially 1:18 the van took the third exit to the right. He’s cut across but it seems like an easy enough mistake to make if you are perhaps not familiar with that roundabout. To then act like he did afterwards though… the van driver was right, you are pathetic.
They both went back to 8 year olds in the school playground
I know that roundabout, I pass it twice a day every day. It is common for people to get into the wrong lane. The first lane covers the first 2 turnings (one into a factory and the other towards the pub and service station), lane 2 is for the 3rd exit that Finn took, and the 3rd lane is for the 4th exit (or take the 5th exit to go back to where Finn came from).
It is CLEARLY marked on the road as well as as you round the roundabout. Also the road signs tell you what lane you should be in. so in reality there should be no confusion.
Look up Hadley Park Roundabout in Telford (or Fallow Fields pub on the roundabout). Both vehicles approach from a single lane road, and go straight on. There's 2 confusing parts. Its the 3rd exit for straight on, and the sign before hand only shows 4 out of the 5 exits
@@ChrisMDSmith79 As you said, you take it twice a day. Plenty of people won’t. As I said, Finn was in the right, but still acted like a tit.
@ChrisMDSmith79 3rd lane? There's only 2 lanes and the van was in the wrong one
9:45 The MoD are very pleased with the results of their new stealth paint technology; although TfL are regretting their decision to roll it out across their bus fleet.
"Sorry mate, didn't see you there!"
Some of the cammers on here should be ashamed of themselves and held to account....
Absolutely agree 👍. Ashley Neal on UA-cam would give true opinions on what they all should've done better.
Finn "it's faster than that van mate" the proceeds to be unable to pull away from said van lol. That's just embarrassing.
Not as embarrassing as being unable to use a roundabout with marked lanes correctly

@@Umbzard Oh look another person who's never made a mistake in his life. Funny how many of you there are.
@@MrTVx99 nice assumption there fuck nugget. Have another go
7:20 The Renault driver seemed so confident they were in the right place!🤣
9:26 I would absolutely stop and check on the people in that car - there doesn't appear to be any reason to crash there. 2 things could have happened - medical issue or bad driving. Either way...
Regarding 9:26, I agree (for me personally) however the channel/op has no idea who was driving i.e. if it was someones wife and 2 young kids, I don't think anyone would want them stopping for that sort of incident.
In Norway you have to stop to check and call the emergency services if needed. Not doing so can lead to a fine or even prison in some cases. Im sure other countries have that. Leaving people in need of emergency care is unlawful, as it should be.
Yes I always stop and check if someone has hazards on, it's the courteous thing to do.
2:59 Abbie he was already on the mini roundabout, he was being slow but you shouldn't have exited
She also seemed to be going a bit too quick as well.
_"What are you doing?!"_
He's doing 20, Abbie, like you should be.
It's not who gets on first, you give way to approaching traffic from the right, you ONLY go if it's safe to do so, it wasn't.
@goplanit so what you're saying is, he shouldn't go if he can see a vehicle half a mile away. Don't talk utter rubish
@@skippster76half a mile?🤣🤣🤣 what a dumb question. If you cannot complete your manoever without impeding another vehicle that has priority, guess who's in the wrong? I bet you don't know.
That last clip, oh how I hate that. "I cannot possibly see round this bus, so I'll just assume that it's safe and clear to go. And then be genuinely shocked and surprised when it's not!"
I think it may have been a case of the white car flashing her out but still they cant assume that for every other car on the road.
Same could be said for the cam car. Stupid speed to pass the bus when there's clearly traffic ahead and a junction. Couldn't stopped if they were driving sensible speed, maybe even helped the corsa out, and still joined the traffic ahead at the same point. Instead now they have weeks of insurance and repairs to sort out, and pay more insurance next few years.
@@dashcamteesside2322 Agreed. Why put yourself into a potentially dangerous situation.
There's a reason why you don't overtake at a junction and that includes Maccy D's.
@@I_Don_t_want_a_handleit's not overtaking when there's 2 lanes you melt
I'm more interested in what happened after 2:10 with Finn R's clip, as the lane he is now in, merges into the left where the troublesome van driver is and as the clip fades you see both are racing and closing the gap to the vehicles ahead. My best guess is Finn R had to back off behind the van driver and got flipped off in the process
Edited out for a reason most likely. Either he had to back down and didn't want to show his submission or he escalated it by blasting past and involving the other drivers ahead.
Or he just passed a few more cars and merged up ahead.
@@MRFUCKOFF202 - definitely the former. There's no way that little shitbox Polo was blasting anywhere!!
@@hippopotamus86 No he definitely got bullied into submission by the van, had to drop behind and got flipped off
10:06 another example of goodwill gestures going wrong. Never let anyone out of a junction like that when you have multiple lanes. Just move along because their gap will come. 2 people to blame and only 1 of them gets involved in the very avoidable accident.
Especially with the lights ahead on green the whole time.
@@v52gc There have been so many clips on just this channel alone showing the exact same thing happening just causing needless accidents from dumb "goodwill" gestures
Do gooders just create more hazards and impede traffic, I'll bet the car could make it out themselves when the lights further up change.
Or maybe the driver was leaving the correct gap so cars turning into that junction wouldn't be blocked off.
The driver in the blue car obviously shouldn't pull out if their vision of oncoming traffic is obscured even if another driver is letting them out.
EDIT:My bad,the car in front had already moved off so the white car should have moved as well.
I have to fight with this almost every day as I drive to work. I have to make a turn across a busy two lane road but I know that I am guaranteed a large gap in traffic every 2-3 minutes Instead, people stop to let me make the turn and I just want to scream at them because there is a bus, truck or big van behind them so I cannot see if there are any cars approaching in the other lane. Then they get irritated at me because I refuse to make the dangerous turn.
7:20 Those lads in the van were definitely going to have a go until they saw it was a confused old duffer.
4:56 James, have you got any other view angles of this incident, you know, just to make sure?
The drone footage will be in next week's video and the video from the headrest, seatbelt and accelerator pedal is being edited right now
9:29 Omo F, maybe stop and see if some kind of assistence is needed? Could really be anything, from securing the scene (e.g. with your own car), to critical medical help, but please at least ask!
Probably don't drive over the debris either!
in that darkness it's not worth it.
@@TheCentennial4 Even puttin your hazards on and a full beam directly onto the car could not only put a light on for whoever inside but also warning people coming along like yourself so people don't then smash into it or the pile of debris.
He should have called 999 when safe. That's a potentially very serious accident which is obstructing the carriageway, and for all we know there may have been an injury.
Even if the car was nicked and crashed by chavs, the police still need to recover it.
He should invest in some headlights too
Is Chis T actually aware that you're not supposed to drive through a roundabout 😅 Driver awareness course required!
It's a mini roundabout, you're allowed to drive over it if your vehicle is too large to make the correct manoeuvre
@@Umbzard The mini roundabout wasn't so mini, I've seen smaller. He definitely could fit around it. He was NOT driving an artic...
@@filipkonopacki1547 good for you. It doesn't have to be an artic, it just needs to be too long to safely make the manoeuvre correctly.
@@Umbzardexcept the vehicle was clearly not too large.

4:27, and Charlotte M was either not paying ANY attention to upcoming hazards, or she consciously decided to force the MPV into submission to get in front. Not impressed with either of them...
Yeah, when everyone has to go around an obstruction but someone disrupts traffic flow and increases risk to make it into a pointless overtake...
Both of you are incorrect, it was not her fault. She had right of way, the car indicated as her bumper was already past the vehicle. They should have used their mirrors before indicating, and definitely before deciding to merge and almost cause a crash, Charlotte was not at fault
If you believe that, then you are as bad a driver as she is. She should have seen the bus, Know whats about to happen and let them in. If she didn't see the bus then thats just as bad because those things are quite big to miss @@kableedge9278
@@kableedge9278 Undoubtedly the MPV driver made a bad choice; I said as much. However our dear Charlotte should have seen the situation develop and could easily have held off to allow the MPV to pass. Unfortunately, for 30yrs in the taxi trade, I would come up against people like her who get a kick out of forcing taxi drivers to let them past, simply for the satisfaction of being in front and therefore superior. I can recognise the type, and have little time for such as she. Technically, she was within her rights, but either she wasn't paying proper attention herself; or she deliberately tried to elbow her way past.
@@kableedge9278And if Charlotte had been paying attention she would have seen the bus up ahead. A little bit of courtesy on the road can save an awful lot of hassle.
5:30 chris, that big bump was from where you drove straight over the mini roundabout. The part where you're supposed to drive around it isn't just a suggestion mate.
Chris A logic - instead of moving into this clear lane to my right to let this car pull out, I'll slam on my brakes and lay on the horn.... 🤡
Yes, he could have moved over. However, indicating from an emergency layby does not give you right of way and you should only exit the layby when the exit is clear, far too many people pull out of them when drivers can't move lane and it causes accidents.
Exactly what I thought, the motorway looked dead just move over mate, guess he saw the opportunity to get a clip to justify his dash cam purchase 😂

So the roundabout in Finn's clip is in Telford. I can indeed confirm that the white van was in the wrong lane. Nice to see Finn deal with it in that calm Telford way.
The van made it an issue, cut him off, then beeped at Finn for overtaking in a legal lane.
The van was in the wrong lane but Finn put himself in the most prone position to get cut up, probably in search of a dashcam clip. Then he makes himself look even more of a knob
I’m confused, they took the third exit and it looked like it was a right turn to me? He was in the right turn lane? Could someone please explain?

We couldn't see Finn R ending up all the way at the back of the row with his 60PS Polo.
Probably isn't stock, maybe remapped to 70PS ;)
4:33 I guess Charlotte M hasn't heard of observations, it was clear as day the car in the left lane was going to be wanting to get around the bus.
5:34 If Chris T had made even 1/10th of an attempt to go around the roundabout properly that car pulling out would not have been even a slight issue.
09:32 So you just drive past and don't check they are ok?
It's disgusting, omo should be ashamed of themselves.
in that darkness with no lights why would you?
You expect too much from someone who drives around in the dark without their headlights on.
The thing is, that would be extremely unsafe. Parking on the hard shoulder to walk across an unlit motorway. By all means stop on the hard shoulder and call the emergency service but there is nothing more that the dashcammer can do.
That scene is a 999 job. There's a barely lit vehicle car crashed in an unsafe position and blocking the road, there might have been an injured person inside as well.
Call the police.
4:25 Charlotte M, how about anticipate, anticipate, anticipate?
4:18 Charlotte M Did it occur to you to take your foot off the accelerator for a couple of seconds and let that silver car out in front of you? No, of course it didn't.
Initially in the right Finn, then you turn into the TOTW. Well done fella
5:30. Give way to the right.
Also 5:30. Use the roundabout as intended rather than driving straight over it

10:12 this is why you don't wave/flash people out, as the white Golf has clearly done this, yes it is on the Blue Corsa to check but, they are immediately put under pressure because white Golf is holding up traffic for them.
It's also why you shouldn't just blindly drive down a stopped lane of traffic without any caution
Being a drama queen and sitting in a live lane after a minor incident leaves you at risk of being ran into or causing someone else to have an accident.
@@sm7085 it was a general observation as it's something we see quite often in other compilations usually after pretty much nothing but trying to make it look more dramatic for their dashcam. Stationary on a roundabout long after the car that pulled out on them has long since gone is a favourite.

The South African bias in me would have gone right past, assuming it was bait for a hijack 😂
There's no legal requirement to stop if you aren't involved in an accident.
4:25 Charlotte, it's obvious that the silver vehicle will need to move into lane 2 in order to pass the bus. In fact it's *so* obvious, there are single-cell amoeba in the frozen Antarctic who know it too. What you did is the driving equivalent of a quick side-step and pushing in a queue. Ease off, give them space to pull out too and make the roads just a tiny bit less c**tish for a change.
After a few weeks of really dreadful driving by third parties, this week it's mainly the cammers and their slow as fudgy-shite reactions combined with the stubbornness of a two-year-old. There are neolithic cave paintings in France that give warning of some of those situations yet our heroes still can't take avoiding action. Sheesh. If you don't want to have an accident, don't drive into people. How hard is it?

5:27 The roundabout symbol is 90 degrees out of true on the sign. Common mistake when the Council put them up but this one is on a rectangular background so was actually made wrong.
Chris T, why did you submit that?
Nice to see Omo F is a caring and considerate person
Chris T doesn’t know how to use a mini roundabout or just doesn’t care
Ah yes, Finn, the powerful, manly sound of a 3 cylinder engine....
Good to see the old trend of people thinking that you can just charge straight through a roundabout is still going strong.
They all seem like racers on a non-racing track.
The best way of finishing the weekend?....probably not watching these and thinking of the Monday morning commute. But some reason I just can't help it 😂
Oh dear Abbie. That car was on the roundabout well before you got there. 😂
Give way to the right. Whoever gets to the roundabout first is irrelevant. If entering the roundabout means you slow down the vehicle to your right, then you shouldn't enter the roundabout.
@@collinslfcNot true at all, did you get your driving license in a crisp packet?
@@smwatson1512 Uhmmm..no? I read the highway code. Rule 185 states (and I quote) "When reaching the roundabout you should
give priority to traffic approaching from your right, unless directed otherwise by signs, road markings or traffic lights". Where in the HC does it state that priority is given to the vehicle which entered the roundabout first? Please do share...
More members of the "I got there first" crew.
@@collinslfc Traffic to the right has priority, doesn't mean you wait for all traffic to the wait. Even if that car should have stopped and waited it didn't, she had loads of time to stop at the give way line. When she approached the car had crossed the give way line and was on the roundabout, read a bit further down and...
"watch out for all other road users already on the roundabout; be aware they may not be signalling correctly or at all"
I'll never understand why so many people seem to think it's okay to swoop across lanes in order to leave a roundabout.
Last clip: maybe Kai shouldn't have been going QUITE so fast past stopped vehicles...?
Correct. As a biker that filters past stationary/slow moving traffic on the centre line, I wouldn't have been going that fast and definitely slowing at gaps. It's not rocket science.
7:26 where in the hell does she think she’s going exactly????🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
