You are supremely talented...and yet you make me believe there is a chance to emulate your skill in some small way. Thanks for sharing your talent Lesley!
Nice work Lesley,The water trick while grinding is much better than a vacuum,I just started doing this while rock carving.
OMG these hares were wow....words fail me...just could stare at it forever....

I would love to make more as they are good fun to make, sadly I have to eat and pay many bills so I have to engrave for money first and run my business. I have not got the time to do much else. Maybe I will make another soon.

Thank you for provicing information about protection like the glasses and the dust mask! These are VERY important and because you people look up to you, it is extra important. So thanks you! Also I would like to encourage people to wear hearing protection. :)
Amazing work as usual
I loved it as always! I have to do a lot of engraving my self this week and when i'm finished with the order, i willl experiment with engraving deeper in to the glass like you do.

That is awesome great job
Thank you Darren 👍
Oh my giddy aunt, your work is gorgeous! Swoons........
wow incredible!!! cpngratulations!!!
Thanks Sebastian :-)
Once again a big thank you for all the lovely reviews. I am unbelievably
busy and have no time to answer individual questions which I also get
by emails and messages etc, every single day from all over the world. I
will just say quickly here, the water drip feed is simply a 2way gang
valve from an aquatic pet shop. Bit of tubing and an empty milk bottle.
The drill I mainly use is a micromotor, Google it :-)The burs are a
variety of diamond, stone and rubber, they all do different things
depending on speed, pressure, wet, dry, worn out or new. You just have
to experiment and practice. I have a large dust extractor as well as
using the mask. Using water minimises dust levels considerably. Have a
good light over the glass so you can see it when it is wet. Have fun
and take care. ♥
Very nice!!!
I love your work.
thank you
Muy hermoso, felicitaciones es un arte excelente.
Gracias:)
You are amazing
lovely work lesley, what is the machine you're using? NSK?
Wonderful...!!!
Thank you
Thank you, that's very kind of you :)
Thank you :) good question, have had it 100 years, probably should not have included it, but what I am doing you can do the same against any abrasive surface, or turn another diamond bur against the bur, it is just to grind down the top to either re-shape or in the case of the rats tail, to get to new grit.
Amazing
The detail on the hare is stunning ! Thank you for showing how and putting which bits you used. The block is glass, right?
Thank you. The block is optical crystal.
u are awesome!
Hi Leslie, thanks for your videos, they are a great inspiration for a complete novice like me, show's what is possible with time. Would it be possible to show how your water dropper works, and how you set it up? Thanks again. :)
My husband bought me a power carver and I am just starting out. Your work is amazing...I sat here stunned in amazement and awe realizing how many different bits you used multiple times to create the depth on the floral vase you did before this video came on. How big a bit did you start out with? It looks bigger than any bit I have. And what engraver are you using? Thank you so much. Your talent is breathtaking.
Very good ..
Glass engraving by Lesley Pyke - drill engraving of hares boxing on a crystal block.
Thank you Vijay.
Thanks muchly Lesley. :D
Thanks Angie, they are all just average grit, except where I have mentioned fine on the video.
Thank you
congratulations for the works of art they do, are wonderful and attention to detail makes your work to be wonderful
a question if you can, what you shaping diamond (which looks like a rock) and what is the role? Thank you.
from Romania salute you with great respect
simply love how you did it with fur you can actually see!! What burr grit #'s did you use for it all? The burrs grits are what I have the trouble of which ones to use...
amazing as usual! What is the white block you use and what does it do?
Lesley, Nice work, great video. What type of equipment are you using?
Thank you :)
Thank you. I mainly use a HNSY Micromotor. Please refer to Lesley's Glass Engraving Club on Facebook for loads of questions and answers.
Hi Lesley, I've been watching you produce your pieces of work for quite a while with hope that I could one day be 50% as good as you. I've been engraving glass objects for Christmas gifts but hitting a brick wall.
I've been engraving poinsettias using the grinding rubbers to help with the shading of the leaves, but I'm not getting the white as white as I would like and when I wipe it with a tissue the white goes to a drab grey sometimes blending in to the background!!! Is there anything I could do to improve the grade of white?
Many thanks in advance, Andy. Yorkshire UK
NIESAMOWITY TALENT -GRATULACJE
Thank you
I was wondering if you could make a video explaining some of the differences between drill bits and some of the lessons you've learned doing this kind of engraving work? I'm looking into doing some engraving myself (just for fun) and would love to know a bit about it.
one more think i like ur nail colours :D
Hi, what equipment are you using, engraver & power source?
Thanks
Hi Lesley, found you a couple of days ago. Love, love your work!
Read about your struggles from the past. I'm so happy your life is much better in England.
You so deserve all the success you are now enjoying.
ps. Got to ask you. Do you still miss your scooter?
Thanks Claudette, yes I do miss my scooter for all sorts of reasons! I have no idea what even happened to it ! Life goes on hey :-)
You're very welcome. Please keep up with your excellent work and positive outlook on life.
Enjoy your videos.
Thank you :-)
hi. what stuff arena You jusing to geth White and Brown? i se You jusing That before engraving.
Hi Lesley, love watching you work, you seem to be digging really deep, is that just about the burr you're using?
Thanks Christopher, it's about everything, pressure, speed, length of time, not about the but.
wow!
I use both as with heavy engraving dust will still come flying!
Super
aaah cheers Jenny ;-)
Hi Lesley
Perhaps an odd question but where-location wise-do you create your work? I don’t have a studio and engrave in my house. I use water to cut down on the glass dust and wear a mask, but am still worried about engraving in the same room as my family.
Thanks!
Colleen
I have a workshop in an industrial park and I have a large dust extractor. Many years ago I engraved at home but in an office.
hi lesley..
Could you please recommend a good quality heads? I use something pretty cheap I bought on eBay. Results are not bad, but I can not seem to create a three-dimensional and depth effect...
depends where you are on the planet. Please visit Lesley's Glass Engraving Club on Facebook for questions.
That's amazing !!!!! How long did it take you to learn to do work like this?
been engraving full time since 1983
bonjour, très joli travail, Bravo! Quelle fraise prenez vous pour ce travail? merci
la magie du verre
COMO SE LLAMA LA MAQUINA SU TRABAJO ES MUY HERMOSO
I don’t dremel carve at all, so I don’t know much about it, but why do you drip water while you’re making something? Is it because the speed of the dremel is so high?
Hi Ruth, it is a Micromotor, not a Dremel, but all your questions and many more are answered if you watch my videos, the best and most informative videos being on my Patreon channel www.patreon.com/glassengraving
I have a huge project on mind and if able a day she will be part of that Amazing team on my Theme and vission direct and oversight by self. .
She have great talent 🤔😃😃😃
Thank you

That is good anyway, your skin will probably be softer in the end. Good luck with your work.
Ditto John :-D
Здорово,объёмная гравировка интересно смотрится.
Would have been nice to add some man bits on the hares :)
hahaha. I only engraved what I saw in the photo.
I wish I had lots of money!
Just like ( I think ) everyone else here . I'm drawn to this art form and the media of glass ______ as opposed to paper , canvas , clay etc. So once you find Lesley Pyke's videos you just know she's the one to ask . And she's being asked from around the world . I found her web site " Glass Engraving " Lesley Pyke LTD. . and it is very informative . find it , click on each of her website sections , and by the time you've soaked up as much as you can . . . . . well for me I consider her a national treasure for the UK . N and S America , and everyone in between . Mrs. Pyke has been commissioned by princesses , presidents and her work graces a globe now .
...and you are a very kind gentleman, thank you very much Gary .
От молодчинка талант жалко что по русски не знает и не спросишь что да как ?
