Once in a while in the dense forests of UA-cam I come across a true gem like your channel and I feel sad. I am sad that it took me this long to know such a gold mine. Thank you, I will be regular here!

Hi Tony, thanks for subbing. No the D&F vase will be completed in January/ February when business is quiet...sort of. However only the preview will be on youtube, I'll make it a decent preview as it is this vase, but the full video will be on Patreon for Patrons only. www.patreon.com/glassengraving good luck with your engraving

So much fun to watch a master doing beautiful art. I must say, I feel like engraving again. Reason I stopped, is because we live in an apartment and I'm afraid the glass dust would go every where. Any suggestion? Thank you.

Hi Lesley, I´m Antonio from Spain. I´ve seen your videos and I love what you do. Thanks to them, I´ve started engraving. My designs are not as good as yours, but I´m improving. I would like to know where I can get the rubber tools you use to polish the engraving, and at what time of the process I must use them. I only have diamond tips from different sizes. Thank you very much.

A VERY HAPPY & HEALTHY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
Absolutely brilliant video Lesley, your eye for detail is second to none as they say! How do you clean and polish the glass once it's been carved? I've tried glass cleaner but the white of the engraving seams to slightly disappear on the shallow area's!
I've been looking for a thick walled glass vase since the vase I engraved /carved has got a hairline crack and now leaks. All the lead glass that I have seen have already been cut & polished smooth! I've been told to try a champagne bottle! Have you carved a champagne bottle? If so how was it to carve? I've wrote on glass bottles but ever tried to go any deeper!
    Apologies for the long message.

Thanks Andrew, I clean the glass with light soapy water, dry with soft cloth. I never use any "glass cleaners"
Drinks bottles are hard as nails and horrid to engrave, I will only if I have to.

Always awesome!!! I can not ever find thick crystal ( any websites that you could refer me to?) or what would be my best alternative to practice on? All suggestions greatly appreciated. Thank you
