I used this video to replace a friend's struts today. He was in an accident and now is in a wheelchair, so he can't do these types of repairs like he used to.
This video assured me that this repair was in my wheelhouse and also what I needed to prep for it. Thanks for mentioning the torque specs, too. It was perfect for what I needed, and it all went perfectly. Top marks!

Here is a tip, when doing this with a floor jack. Once the tire is off, using a two foot level as a straight edge, hold the level against the rotor and mark the floor with a grease pencil. When you are getting ready to tighten the two lower bolts, check the toe in by lining up the mark on the floor. Without doing this, your to in will be way off!

This video was awesome. Thank you for loading this. I literally bought the set from your site (cheapest I’ve found) and the video gave me a step by step. It took me 2 hours from start to finish from lugs off to lugs on. The local auto repair quoted me 804 dollars (cheapest) in town.
175 for parts. Then 75 for the alignment. That was a 554 dollar saving. This is the second time I’ve used this site for repairs, and saved to this date close to 1000 dollars.

I watched this video the other night before doing a strut on my Acadia. There's one gotcha that probably should be mentioned. At around the 17M mark in the video you'll see him putting the bolts back through and tightening them down. But the struts are able to pivot in and out on the top bolt, changing the angle of the steering knuckle. When I first put it together, I didn't realize that it could pivot on the top bolt and put it together with it pivoted completely forward. Taking it out for a test drive I got a Stabilitrack warning on the dash.
I brought it back home and looked up why I'd get that error found someone else with the same problem. I loosened the bolts again and pivoted it towards the back and buttoned everything back up again. Took it out for a test drive and the Stabilitrack error was gone. I'm going to schedule a full alignment since it probably needs to be aligned after both struts were replaced.
Otherwise this is a great video, I've watched dozens of them for various vehicles I own.

FYI,if you don't have a jack to lift the caliper assembly into the strut, I use a screw driver to stick into the Top hole to hold it up then I'll get the lower hole lined up and install the bolt and nut then remove the screw driver and install the top bolt and nut😎😎

Every video I watch on these makes me hate these vehicles more, the mechanics must have run a train on the engineering teams wifes. Never seen a vehicle where you have to disassemble some many parts to change parts, its like working on a luxury car without the benefit of the luxury. I've owned over 20 vehicles and do all maintenance and this is my most hated vehicle I've ever owned and its only been a month. Took me 5 hours to change valve cover gaskets and plugs swearing the entire time.
