Dying to get back there but in Australia we have travel restrictions. Could you please tell me how much approximately a taxi or the uber equivalent is from Chon Buri to Central festival. Thanks :)

    Location
That view ..fresh air from the sea.
    The layout inside.
All new.. so the aircon unit will run near silent..

I had to laugh..when you said the last video got 100,000 views..

      Shops open
      cafes open
I only know of two countries in the world- that dont have a hard lockdown.

15 years ago I was $468’000 in debt living in America sold our house and have began living in a motorhome. Most people would have filed for bankruptcy we worked hard made major sacrifices and about a year and a half ago we were debt free. In SoCal it still was costing us $100 a day to survive. We built a house in Thailand at a cost of $100k and moved in one month ago. Have yet to figure out out monthly expenses but I’m going to guess about $100 brother I think we dodged a bullet and got out of there just in time.

She must have been crazy to marry me most Thai girls marry for money and to put up with the sacrifices we made I’m a lucky guy and know how blessed I am. She helped me start a successful business that we were able to sell For a nice profit just in time I might add.

  • @earicome

Great choice and everything good. The bottom is falling out of the condo rental market right now as there are so many living in hope owners who have not had a renter available for many months. A good allround monthly cost, I imagine you took the opportunity to negotiate the rent down to a sum you were comfortable with as well. Only slight downside for me would be that you say you are the first to rent this particular condo, which on one hand is nice because everything is new but on the other hand you become the guinea pig to find out where the faults are. Would be good if you updated this vlog after a month or so just to comment on if anything untoward reared its head or any unsurprising leaks or equipment failures.
Quality vlog again. I have interest because my condo 12 monthly rental expires next month and as such have plenty of opportunities available on whether to move or give my renting owner the chance to halve the monthly cost for another 12 month contract. Its great to have all the options in the renters favour for a change

generally speaking I dont comment, but enjoy watching, but yes the view & convenience more than make up the dollar a day difference, plus a "BRAND NEW" place is AWESOME! if ever sick, or not feeling well, food is closer to go get. You did good. keep up the videos

A dollar a day for a sea view, you would pay a hell of a lot more for that anywhere else in the world . Living the dream !( Well my dream definitely 👍) .

Please... How is the wall thickness? The newer places tend to have very thin walls. The Japanese joke is... If you want to put a nail in the wall to hang a picture.. Talk with your neighbour so he can buy a picture for the other end of the nail.
There are a few new towers in Pattaya and Jomtien that are unlivable.
People should know... Facing the sea in Pattaya is the hot side of the building. It gets the afternoon and evening sun. Which adds a hundred $ to the aircon bill a month. The cool side of the building is facing south. Next best is east which gets the morning sun.

Good questions. This faces North, no direct sun any part of the day, that is actually the coolest side. Very rare to find a north facing unit with water view, which was of big interest to me. The walls are thick, I have never heard a noise from above below or from the side in the month I've been here.

T G Rides for kicks is a good channel. But I also like 20 seconds Thailand Rob. He’s a little goofy but very fun and a very good channel. I’m over no time to be sad Chuck has lost it as far as I’m concerned and retire cheap in Thailand has gotten way too preachy for me. Enjoy the channel check out Thailand Rob

I liked the other place better . It was on the 24th floor , and had the small patio with the table and 2 chairs . It also had the pool and workout room . I definitely like the SOCAFE right outside your new place though .

How many square meters is this condo? I am blind so I can't see it but it sounds lovely. Does it have air conditioner in the living room and the bedroom, and in the bathroom is the shower enclosed so water doesn't get everywhere? Finally are there chairs and umbrellas you can rent on the beach, or do you have to bring your own. I love watching your videdios :)

In Bangkok this would cost you 17,000+ a month depending on the area and developer. Sometimes you just gotta move after some time because apartments in Thailand deteriorate fast.

What a great place and location👍 The price is unreal. In the dump formerly known as San Francisco, a dirty, rotten room with a shared bathroom/shower is $1200 a month with the added bonus of hundreds of homeless, drug addicts, drug dealers, etc. right outside your door.

Those are nice condos. About 18 months ago, I checked out your condo buildings and I thought they were a great buy. Where is the condo pricing at today? It will only get cheaper......

I would think the bottom of the market for buying a place would be right now in thailand. Why not just buy a place?. Most of the new condo's I look at in 2013 were around 3 million baht in pattaya, but double the size of what you want to rent. I'm still happy I when back to las vegas and got my condo for $82,000. That breaks down to $415.00 a month mortgage with taxes and home owners insurance included. It includes 3 bedrooms,2 1/2 bathrooms, and a one car garage. It's a 1,224 square foot. It was also build back in 1999.

The So cafe was my free internet cafe for a month, love that end of bangseagn, fave fish resturant is the blue roof one. Have you been to monkey mountain yet?, good cut through to the main road. Was offered an app in the ship building in 2008 for 15k uk, so should have gone for it. ps toilets were a bit stinky down the side there at the cafe. btw you can get petrol right next to the cafe over the roundabout, the app is nice and enough well done.

Can I play devil's advocate and say I preferred the other apartment? 😂 Only kidding. You've landed yourself an absolute gemstone of an abode there, seaview to boot as well. I too didn't shriek delight at the token gesture on site cafe/ restaurant.
