Opium over red I bought for my gf. Vanilla in bourbon is amazing on skin! You’re going to love it, I can’t wait to get a bottle. Silky woods elixir was really unappealing to me, it was a scrubber. Too much cumin and weird dry cooking spices for me.
Need to try some Ted Lapidus fragrances, see them mentioned every once in a while. Looking forward to the Jean Paul Gaultier when it hits the states. Would like to try a decant. Keep up the good work. Thanks for helping us through our fragrance journey.
You should give silky woods some time to develop, mainly the Oud and guaiac, it turns masculine IMO. Beautiful scent, buttery smooth Seude butterscotch and woods.
Well some of their endless flanker lines are redundant but every now and again some are amazing (Hugo Boss Elixir is, which has nothing to do with the original Boss Bottled.) I think that’s what he meant.

I didn't think it was quite worth buying (as I try to keep my collection down to just my favourite 50 bottles). If I find one that's better than my 50th favourite I buy it & sell the other one. It's pretty tough to break into my top 50 faves!
Hi Max, thanks for your recommandations. i have bought not too long ago prada l'homme Intense but i heard its discontinued. I didnt really like the prada lhomme and That would be great if you could recommend another fragrance that smells the same or about 95% . thanks for your help

The only designer that I’m interested in is YSL Y Elixir. When I saw it has “oud” and I was kinda suprised but when I saw the perfumer is none other than Dominique Ropion I was shocked. That sounds exciting and frightening at the same time. I hope Mr. Ropion was not held back by YSL
If I don't mention that they are more masculine leaning, most likely they are gender-free! At the end of the day people should and will wear what they like regardless... ;)
Do people just spray whatever part of the tester strip sticks out based on how they grab it? I thought the fatter side would be the side to spray. Not a big deal and I assume it's because either way you're getting fragrance on paper to smell. I see it often enough though that I am wondering if there is an actual way to use tester strips right or wrong.
