The little imperfections make the news better imo because an average viewer of the news won't really care, it makes it feel like its made for the average person.

The quality and effort put into these videos are insane, the vintage style of post-WWII American reporting really sells the image of the U.S.A. as one of the last bastions of actual free nations left observing a world dominated by major powers ruling through raw, Godless totalitarianism. This actually reminds me of the original Monument Mythos videos but these are far more believable. Amazing work.

This is what i was hoping for, the AI to be used extensively to make mods or games themselves. nothing is beyond our limits. we are just limited by creativity, and as time goes by, we can probably just use our creative mind so AI can make our dream games. The future will belong to the creative people.
I was thinking that something like a future GTA could use AI to predict damage and remodel things on the fly, you could use rocket launchers to blow holes through walls and it would model the damage with thousands of polygons, uniquely different each time.
Now this is the kind of stuff that I like. Alternate history content that is presented in type of format is interesting and creative, I myself would like to make a faux High School History textbook detailing an alternate history, and stuff like this vindicates that desire in a way.

The more I learn about AI, the more creeped out I get. Posting at 9:40am ET on 6-10-23. In a little less than half an hour, I'll be 60. Had the above-mentioned event really happened on the date given, I'd have been about 4 1/2 months old. A little less than 4 weeks later, an earth-shaking event did indeed occur, namely the JFK assassination.
Write a script and have some AI voice over it (I used ElevenLabs), then use that audio to lip swap an existing footage (I used Wav2Lip), then cut everything together.
Really well done, this is very impressive. The only thing I would personally change is the American use of German terms like Reichskommissariat and Germania and such. It just felt slightly immersion breaking to me. I would honestly expect a lot of those words to just get translated into plain English for a mass media broadcast. I would expect German terms to really be limited to foreign policy experts and advisers. So instead of “There are reports of slave revolts in Reichskommissariat Ostland”, it would probably be more like “There are reports of slave revolts in the Baltic and Belarussia” or “in the eastern territories” or just “in Russia”

In this case, possibly there would have been a tendency to ,regermanize' english language. And in dialect and dated words, i recognize lots of english words. There is a more historical/ scientic/ romantic movement, which thinks about the question: What if Harold had won at Hastings? So again, I don't really view this as an issue.

Maybe German became a sort of lingua franca so some names are used in German, as we do today after the Anglos and the Longnosed won the war.
