I believe he is refering to the Queen Consort, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon aka the Queen Mother. As Elizabeth was still the heiress presumptive in 1945, she would be referred as "Her Royal Highness", not "Her Majesty". That style of address was reserved for ther mother and her grandmother, Queen Mary. The King, if still alive (I never played the game so it's just assumption on my part), could have ordered the rest of the Royal Family to be evacuated to Canada and stayed behind to sign the surrender, as I believe the Nazis would have demanded. But... it's alternate History, so he could be refering to the late Elizabeth II anyways. This is fiction. @@houssamassila6274

@shen4379 Nearly every single thing apart of the lore I have an issue with. Let's go through every English leader and tell you my problem with them. Macmillian: Shouldn't be a collab leader. There's no way Macmillian should be alive and if he was, he'd certainly be a memeber of HMMLR. Margaret Thatcher: Horrible blackwashing of her character, she wasn't some authoritarian dictator who wanted to restore the British empire, her OTL rhetoric also wouldn't appeal to anyone in the 60s. She simply comes far too early to become a viable candidate fot prime minister. Also, the woman who donated a crap ton to save a Jewish family in World War 2 and someone who opposed German reunification due to her experience in the blitz shouldn't be a collab leader. She'd fit better as a small member of the resistance. Maulding: very odd choice for the "wholesome chungus collab reform path" considering he was a corrupt, incompetent tory that inadvertently started The Troubles (he was Northern Irish secretary and was responsible for Bloody Sunday). It's a gross mischaracterisation to have him of all people as a Liberal. Also, Keith Joseph is portrayed as a collborator because he was on the right side of the Conservative party. Problem is he's Jewish. Why would the nazis allow a Jew into their collab government? Jellicoe: Shouldn't be a party leader, he was an aristocrat fuckboy OTL who joined the party for the cheese and parties more than actually being a politician. There's no way he'd get his shit together and be able to be an actual prime minister. Wilson: Wilson abolishing the monarchy is retarded on some many levels. Not was Wilson himself a monarchist with one of the closest relationships with her majesty Queen Elizabeth II (who is mentioned to be widely respected by even hardcore socialists in TNO) but he was also pragmatic (hell Wilson's entire minigame is about sidelining extermists within his own party). He wouldn't risk the opposition turning more radical by abolishing the monarchy. Even if we do give by TNO's logic of abolishing the monarchy, the fact he can abolish the monarchy yet can't abolish the house of Lords is incredibly stupid as the house of Lords would be far easier to get rid of. Yet it's kept because "it would prove to diffcult to get rid of". Plus, a red monarchist Britain is far more intresting than boring Cromwell larp.
@@3.2187_Kilometres Yeah I do notice that Thatcher is some sort of a nationalist, and in no way would transfer British sovereignity to the Germans. Also the same opinion for Wilson.
Not really, Germany never had the ability to stage a full blown invasion of Britain, their Navy was too small in comparison to the Royal Navy, the RAF had better planes / advanced technology and the Germans didn't have the ability to transport their troops over into England while under Royal Navy / Army bombardment (they would have had to use little civilian tug boats) It would have been a suicide mission putting the German Army on the English Channel with the Royal Navy, even if the RAF did fall - the majority of the German soldiers would have ended up at the bottom of the channel. By miracle if they did land, they would have been trapped in England, leaving the continent unguarded. This is why Hitler always aimed to make the UK leave the war on its own terms, he never wanted to invade - it was a fantasy.
It's such a relief that Germany didnt invade and as a result of the decadence of ALL British Governments, and the inveigling of jewish cultural marxists, in the 78 years after WW2, Britain got to be homosexualised, Islamised and made negroidal isnt it?
It's scary to imagine what could have been if this had happened. I was born after the end of WW2 and my world would look normal to me, but to those born before 1930 the UK would have been a very different place to the one they grew up in.
Scary? This is much more preferable to the British today. Wait, Britianidishu and Londonistan, city of knife crimes where native Brits are not even 50 percent of the population anyway. Actually, this is a realization we supported the wrong side.
Sounds great, one tidbit i could hear is that he said "Her majesty the Queen" which she didn't become Queen until 1952 in our timeline. I suppose this being some alternate history sort of thing you could argue she became Queen earlier but was just one possible error i thought i might mention.
Just listened to this; I’ve always been interested in counter-factuals. As to the present point (HM The Queen), I had assumed that this meant that in the reported fighting in London King George VI had been killed and therefore the young Princess Elizabeth had succeeded to the throne.
I like the notion on the map that there were some random pockets of resistance including strangely, a bulge tripoint from Hesketh Bank to Blackburn to Fleetwood
I think "the Queen" might refer to the Queen Mother - she got that title after George VI died, because she was always to be titled Queen but wasn't actually the Queen anymore because their daughter had ascended the throne. I read this as the rest of the Royal Family bugging out and leaving George VI home alone.
"Attention to all freedom-minded Englishmen and British. Ignore Montgomery's attempt to surrender on Britains behalf. We fight for liberty! We fight for the Commonwealth!" - Winston Smith, speaking from the Isle of Man, prior to embarking for training grounds in Canada
On a different note, this sounds absolutely terrifying. I expect a lot of unsavory groups will use AI like this to rewrite history and try to subvert horrible events or people to fit their agenda. There should be a mandatory disclaimer in every video like this saying that it's fictional and made by AI.
@gustaffring no. He's not. It's ridiculous that he expects there to be a disclaimer. Especially when the video being a work of speculative alternate history fiction is blatantly obvious.
Fought is a bit over the top. She never saw combat. Women in the ATS performed ancillary duties during the war and her service in the ATS was more of token as her appointment was honorary.
It's possibly the Queen Mother. She was "Her Majesty the Queen" while George VI was alive and you don't stop being Queen just because your King husband has died.

Imagine a future in which cops with cameras on them change the video to show the kid shot at them instead of them shooting first and planting the gun. One problem: the BBC logo should not be that. That is the modern one today. They did not have one in 1945 but instead a coat of arms. Their first logo however was really sick, it was a compass with wings. Look it up!
The BBC did not use American announcers in 1940 and I have no idea what the British Broadcasting Service is. Montgomery was not a field marshall in 1940, he was a divisional commander, so a major general. His accent was very distinctive and he sounded nothing like the voice presented here.
At some points, Monty sounds surprisingly casual about announcing British surrender, when I imagine someone like him would rather have the bullet rather than utter these words. I saw a comment saying he sounds like he is being held at gunpoint because the AI sounds stiff, and it reminded me of the German surrender in "Der Untergang", in which General Weidling, surrounded by Soviets, faints after is he done speaking.

Alternate timeline where all the British spoke in American accents for some reason lol
"Temporary control" indeed.
I’ve just one thing to say : OPERATION LOUD AND CLEAR
Is that the one where we all get a week's worth of rations and a stick of dynamite?
Gives me chills even thinking this could've been a possibility
Not really, Germany never had the ability to stage a full blown invasion of Britain, their Navy was too small in comparison to the Royal Navy, the RAF had better planes / advanced technology and the Germans didn't have the ability to transport their troops over into England while under Royal Navy / Army bombardment (they would have had to use little civilian tug boats)
It would have been a suicide mission putting the German Army on the English Channel with the Royal Navy, even if the RAF did fall - the majority of the German soldiers would have ended up at the bottom of the channel.
By miracle if they did land, they would have been trapped in England, leaving the continent unguarded.
This is why Hitler always aimed to make the UK leave the war on its own terms, he never wanted to invade - it was a fantasy.
This was never a possibility
Hitler was an Anglophile who always wanted Britain to join the Axis
It's such a relief that Germany didnt invade and as a result of the decadence of ALL British Governments, and the inveigling of jewish cultural marxists, in the 78 years after WW2, Britain got to be homosexualised, Islamised and made negroidal isnt it?
It's scary to imagine what could have been if this had happened. I was born after the end of WW2 and my world would look normal to me, but to those born before 1930 the UK would have been a very different place to the one they grew up in.
the 2020's are a very different place to the one I grew up in.
The secret invasion by Sir Klaus and his NWO friends is almost complete
Hey Dmmy, all cities in the UK are flooded with brown people. Adolf would have never let this happen.
Scary?
This is much more preferable to the British today. Wait, Britianidishu and Londonistan, city of knife crimes where native Brits are not even 50 percent of the population anyway.
Actually, this is a realization we supported the wrong side.
I didn't know Monty had an American accent 😳
...and lost his speech impediment (couldn't pronounce his R's).
this is not an American accent
I'm impressed with how well done these alternate history videos are.
This feels like War of the Worlds. Fascinating. Love it.
Welp time to join Auchinleck and Stirling.
See ya in the fields boys!
His accent is wayyy too transatlantic. In fact, it sounds more American than British much of the time 😄
Leeds has certainly fallen and is currently occupied by foreigners.
Actually Leeds was a major target for Hitler due to its larger than average Jewish population!
at least they speak no german I guess
This is very well made
Did anyone notice that in this alternate reality George VI dies in the bombing of Buckingham Palace and Elizabeth is queen during ww2?
I think "the Queen" might refer to the Queen Mother - she got that title after George VI died, because she was always to be titled Queen but wasn't actually the Queen anymore because their daughter had ascended the throne.
I read this as the rest of the Royal Family bugging out and leaving George VI home alone.
this is amazing
"Attention to all freedom-minded Englishmen and British. Ignore Montgomery's attempt to surrender on Britains behalf. We fight for liberty! We fight for the Commonwealth!"
- Winston Smith, speaking from the Isle of Man, prior to embarking for training grounds in Canada
On a different note, this sounds absolutely terrifying. I expect a lot of unsavory groups will use AI like this to rewrite history and try to subvert horrible events or people to fit their agenda. There should be a mandatory disclaimer in every video like this saying that it's fictional and made by AI.
We're entering a post-truth world. It is horrifying.
anyone that thinks this is real is a mong
🤓🤓🤓
@@argentius6479 bro, he's right....
@gustaffring no. He's not. It's ridiculous that he expects there to be a disclaimer. Especially when the video being a work of speculative alternate history fiction is blatantly obvious.
We would NEVER have surrendered. 👍
The queen wasn’t on the throne during world war 2 it was her father, infact her late majesty actually fought in the war
in tno the king died in a bombardment
Fought is a bit over the top. She never saw combat. Women in the ATS performed ancillary duties during the war and her service in the ATS was more of token as her appointment was honorary.
It's possibly the Queen Mother. She was "Her Majesty the Queen" while George VI was alive and you don't stop being Queen just because your King husband has died.
I never realised he was American and looking at the map Leeds appears to have retreated 60 miles to the north.
*_"We shall never surrender! And if, for which a moment I do not believe, this island, or large part of it, was Subjugated and Starving, then Our Empire, Beyond the Seas, Armed, and Guarded, by the British Fleet, Shall carry on the Struggle! Until in gods good time, The New World, with all its power and might, steps forth to the rescue, and the liberation of the old."_*
My argentinean neighbor suddenly took great interest in me playing this
Britain shall never fall!
its falling to immigrants atm
@@coloniser.- if you wish for it to be otherwise you need to cut down the welfare state and restrict birth control for the native British.
1:25 the relaxed AI voice makes it sound like he's congratulating a rival football team that won the game lol
One big error, 'Her Majesty the Queen and the Royal Family", it was The King in 1945
Actually not. in TNO king Edward defected to the Germans and Lizzy II became the new queen in his stead.
What Happened to George V?@@person9313
@@DavidGigg he died in a bombing in the war
So does Montgomery become Britain’s Petain?
nah. Donitz or Keitel didn't become a "Petain" of Germany, so why would British Generals be?. Instead they'd probably install Mosley as a PM or hold elections a few years later.
Not in TNO. He still leads the English army.
No, this is supposed to mirror Keitel's surrender to allies in real life. AKA actual governmant of the Britian refused to surrender, but they are powerles/fled from the isles. And there is no possible way for Britian to continue to fight. So the British Armed Forces surrender instead. Just like how Wehrmacht surrendered in real life.
@@yigitoz8387 thing is for the free Britain paths winston churchill should come back from Canada, rebuild the army, take advantage of the German civil war
@declangaming24 it's possible Churchill would have been arrested or handed over by the US if they remained out of the European theatre, and now had to find out a routine of trade and possible co-existence with a new Nazi-dominated Europe.
I didn't know Monty was actually a Yank! 🤣🤣🤣
In this timeline Britain was founded by american settlers. Columbus was mexican and discovered England in 1492.
Am I the only one worried that if AI gets too good it might discredit video evidence altogether? Imagine a future in which cops with cameras on them change the video to show the kid shot at them instead of them shooting first and planting the gun. If video doesn't lie that might settle it then right?
there is no video evidence anymore. keep your analog equipment safe. digital is anyhow removing history as it does not prevail well over time.
One problem: the BBC logo should not be that. That is the modern one today. They did not have one in 1945 but instead a coat of arms. Their first logo however was really sick, it was a compass with wings. Look it up!
The BBC didn't have a proper corporate identity until the late 1980s - if you remember those slanted boxes with the coloured stripes underneath.
I cannot imagine such a broadcast, and thankfully, nor could my forebears.
These are quite amazing. Should be put together in some sort of documentary about alternate history.
If there was a tno film focused on Britain this should be the prologue
You should make a U.S signing the armistice version. Great video
The BBC did not use American announcers in 1940 and I have no idea what the British Broadcasting Service is. Montgomery was not a field marshall in 1940, he was a divisional commander, so a major general. His accent was very distinctive and he sounded nothing like the voice presented here.
The British Broadcasting Service? You mean Corporation …
Thank God, we never had to hear this.
Operation Sealion: Success
At some points, Monty sounds surprisingly casual about announcing British surrender, when I imagine someone like him would rather have the bullet rather than utter these words. I saw a comment saying he sounds like he is being held at gunpoint because the AI sounds stiff, and it reminded me of the German surrender in "Der Untergang", in which General Weidling, surrounded by Soviets, faints after is he done speaking.
The fact the Queen is referred to as the Queen means in this timeline George VI had previously been killed in the war.
That man has an American accent !
It sounds like surrendering that’s why it seems American
@@VR46314 then it would sound french
Interesting touch how he referred to HER majesty, implying that perhaps George VI had been killed during the fighting...
Now we need Kaiserreich versions of these.
The AI is SO clever it thought we had a Queen in 1945. Lol.
If you're listening to this and thinking it sounds remotely like English accents, you're definitely not English.
This sounds transatlantic
@@alphaundpinsel2431 Thus not British…
Nor from anywhere else that speaks English, the USA included.
I've heard Montgomery speak and this is nothing like his voice.
Future historians will be baffled
The Leeds marker is too high up 😅
It should have said His Majesty The King. George VI was on the throne in 1945.
One presumes the alternate reality scenario portends the death of George VI.during the war.
Either the King died or stayed in Britain, possibly captured, and Montgomery is referring to the Queen Mother
@@MrRobChuck I think what happens is King George gets captured and imprisoned in the tower of London but eventually gets executed for not co operating that's why Edward the VIII returns with a all expenses payed flight by Germany
If also could imply George VI was dead in this AU. Elizabeth II was always bomb away from being a WW2 monarch.
Now that this content is deprecated, will you make an updated version reflecting material in The Ruin update?
I didn't know Monty had an American accent
I was recommended this on fucking d-day
Its interesting but Monty had a speech defect [he rolled his "R's"] and I doubt that he ever strayed towards an American accent as this does.
To everyone's great amusement Monty always referred to his adversary Rommel as "Wommel" .
Didn't realise Leeds was near to Newcastle! 🤣
Every time I hear this announcement,I feel very sad.I know it was an AI's voice, not Montgomery's real voice...But can you imagine it?A world where freedom fell to the Black Sun.Imagine being a British soldier and you hear your Marshall annouce the surrender of your nation. All hopes, all dreams crushed.
What a nightmarish world.
Why is he saying "her majesty the Queen" when she's not even the monarch yet
She was the successor legitimate but in TNO-TL. She was replaced by Edward VIII because Britain surrender for the first time result of the war. So the Queen gets exiled to Canada or Iceland as a legitimate Queen.
@@PitunghereTNOschizo100 basically what happens is queen Elizabeth goes to Canada with various members of the government and prime minister churchill who is never mentioned. 0:56 queen?
In another world this recording actually happened.
May I suggest you to put a short description about TNO in video description. Just in case about anyone who watch this video doesn't know anything about TNO or even misunderstanding this as a real footage.
For a while I thought I came to an alternate universe without knowing it
The BBC would have loved this
"There is much to be done"
Oh don't you even think about it
"Her majesty the queen" in 1945? Really?
in the timeline this video is based on, Edward VIII never abdicated but was deposed in the 1940s after collaborating with the Nazis, ultimately still leading the collaborationist England. According to the Wiki it should be George VI in power (as it was in real life)
Her majesty the queen!? What happened to George VI!!!???
Was he killed in the blitz?

1) The world is round
2) Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell
3) Kaiserreich is the best Hoi4 mod
4) TNO is the worst Hoi4 mod

definitely doesnt sound American.
BBC declared Jimmy Saville as the new PM.
AI-generated Irish people cheering after this broadcast
yes
Damn that’s painful.
This is where Wolfenstein begins.
Very accurate the bbc used to have a broadcasting house in Leeds it’s now been converted into student accommodation because it’s next to Leeds uni
feels bad man. 😢
It sounds like the AI has taken some 'inspiration' from The Great Dictator speech by Charlie Chaplin. It has also given Montgomery a slightly American accent
I was born in 1941. I would probably have been enrolled in the Hitler Youth and my elder blue-eyed blonde sister would have been forced to bear the child of a blue-eyed blonde German soldier.
God only knows what would have happened to my parents.
My father always told me that if Hitler had succesfully invaded Britain there were plenty of British sympathisers who would collaborate. His own pre-war employer was one of them. My father was a fireman during WW2, having been a volunteer fireman before hostilities started and also too old to become a soldier in 1939.
Elizabeth wasn't coronated till 1953 btw
In the timeline the king dies to bombing raids
If that had been true, only German comments would be seen here. One people, one world, one language.
Scary stuff this AI a whole generation might grow up more deceived than they already are.
