I won my bipolar claim because I listed sleep problems on my military exit physical. The VA c and p doctor saw that and said it’s as least as likely as not that the military service caused my bipolar disorder. I am now 100 percent p and t for bipolar disorder.
I really need your help. Did you join sound ? Direct service connected. In other words, did the military CAUSE, your bd ?? What was your discharge reason ? Please please respond. Thanks so kindly. We vets need support and hope 😢😢
@@charlenharis1204 I joined sound. According to the VA there is at least a 50 percent chance the military caused my bipolar disorder. That is what at least as likely as not means. It’s 50/50 and tie goes to the veteran. I was honorable discharged. I ETSed at the end of my contract.
Filed for generalized anxiety disorder / psychic depression related to COPD/ OSA with medical evidence and personal statements ; but I feel the one hour C & P evaluation by a clinical psychologist [ PhD ] got me the SC at 70% [ combined 90% rating via other claims ] . Davidson the VA guy is right on this one - include a ' behavioral health ' report from a professional in the mental health field with your claim .
I took an 14' fall in the AF and landed on my head cracking my upper jaw in 3 places. They never had me come back in for an follow up. I got out on an honorable discharge and saw the VA about my education benefits when i was living in Fl. I enlisted from Alabama under the GI bill. The VA in FL said I was under an VEEP program that I had never heard of, and because I hadn't put anything in I had nothing to pull out! That has PO me for many years.
how likely is it to receive 100% if the VA used their own examiner from the VA to do my C&P exam and the Examiner checked the box for Total occupational and social impairment and then also wrote is more then likely then not and atleast as likely as not connecting my 3 mental health conditions to my service connected disabilities
@@LiveForToday706 can I ask you something. At the c&p exam I got diagnosed and the total occupational box for one c&p exam and one which is still mental health was rated at 70 according to the 3a box I have one more exam. Which will they go with
when is the new dbq and new benefits schedule of ratings for ptsd going to come out? it was proposed over a year ago, to make it in line with the most recent DSM, but don't know if and when it will become law? or where its at in the process, and when it will be done? also, does the new GUARD VA Benefits Act (not sure if this is law yet either?) effect your business or other similar businesses? Did you do a video on the new proposed ptsd ratings, or the GUARD VA Benefits Act? thanks for your videos, hope to see your reply to my comment, I appreciate your assistance and conversation.
March 2024 is the time the VA intends to finalize this. It will take 2 months more before they begin regularly using the new schedule. Likely by summer 2024 complete
If I was diagnosed at exam for schioaffective affective disorder bipolar type. I have a diagnosis of bipolar disorder by va psychologist. I take Seroquel for bipor disorder will this affect my claim.
Im not exactly sure what ur trying to say here but if ur asking if because u have to different mental health diagnosis one from your provider and the other from the c&p examiner will it hurt ur claim? It shouldn't as the exact diagnosis isn't really being taken into account just your level of social and occupational impairment and if it is service connected.

I currently have 30 percent for mental health. How do I file for an increase? Do I need a nexus letter?
A few months back i filed for depression but recently VA called me in for a PTSD evaluation.
Thanks! Working on those secondaries.
Thanks so much. Bless you
