We have flown together many times since this and he is an airplane CHAMP! He loves to travel, yay! :) What adventures do you want to see me go on with Elton John?
I hope you're doing well with your new dog? Taking a guide dog home for the first time ever must be so daunting. I really hope he or she has changed your life for the better.
I totally hear you on the airplane seat thing. I'm not a guide dog user, but as someone very tall who also has disabilities, as I get older I realize that the only way I can fly semi-comfortably is to use premium economy or business class. It's like an unspoken disability tax, and shows yet again how ableist so much mass transport design can be, where those of us with disabilities are so often a grudging afterthought, rather than thinking about how to truly make it work for everyone.
@@brendashelonko2149 I didn't realize that could happen. I has disabilities and now must make sure they have business class. It is sad that we have to pay extra to accommodate us.
Elton seems like such a calm boy! Your bond since the first time you were together on screen has been palpable and I'm so glad that you found each other. Your life could definitely use a dose of calm
I have a Bernedoodle mobility service dog. He is 85 pounds, we fly first class by choice every time we fly. He just wont fit anywhere else. Hate having to pay for it, but I always enjoy it much more, and I know my pup likes it more too. Edit: as far as the potty spot, it was a challenge to get him to go on those too, luckily had a long layover with a large and gorgeous potty spot and it took over and hour of coaxing and praise to get him to go. But since that he is a pro. Keep at it he will get it!
Only 85#??? My SD has flown in economy before because we were late boarding. He's 65KG. We always sit in bulkhead or premium big seats and only pay for basic economy. Depends on the airline.
@@talesfromtheleashexpatdogl1426 yes he is only 85, but he is extremely leggy and tall, much like a Greyhound or Great Dane. We have flown economy a few times but it is extremely uncomfortable for him and me, bulkhead isn’t bad, but you aren’t allowed to keep your bag at your feet the whole flight and I need my medications with me. In economy he ends up taking up both my seat space and most of anyone sitting next to me. I understand people wanting space so I just fly first class. First class is large enough for him to be comfortable and for me to have room for my bag and myself, along with not intruding into others space. I have sensory issues so I am also extremely uncomfortable being that close to other people. And the cost of two economy seats (if i were to do that instead) is about the same as first class anyway. Edit: I fly in the US, most airlines are crappy about giving bulkhead to people, it’s never a guarantee unless you pay extra and even then you don’t always get it. So I just don’t bother and make it easy on myself and fly first class
I can totally relate to this comment. I have a German Shepherd who is 29 inches tall and 75 lbs, but he is super long. He could technically fit under an economy seat, but I prefer to bite the bullet and pay for first class when I can. I don't have sensory disabilities other than blindness, but I prefer not to be super close to people, so that extra room helps us both. Wow, a Bernedoodle! I bet he is gorgeous! Does he require a professional grooming like a Poodle does? I've only met a couple and they were on the smaller side--somewhere in the sixties and shorter. And their coats felt more Bernerish than Poodle.
@@khanhhm5762 yes he requires grooming like a poodle/goldendoodle. His fur is thicker but curly. He doesn’t shed, so his fur continuously grows and needs to be shaved. I learned to do it myself and it saves me a lot of money, he enjoys grooming time. He is a bi-color Bernedoodle he doesn’t have any brown, and looks like he is wearing a tuxedo with a white mustache. Bernedoodles come in 3 sizes the smaller the more poodle, but my boy is a standard poodle mix. He is so intelligent and calm and sweet, I know any other service dogs I get in the future will be a Bernedoodle, I am hooked on the breeds personality and temperament.
@@Hadraniel94 Wow! Thanks so much for sharing. Your boy sounds stunning. In a case like yours, I absolutely understand the love for a Doodle of some kind, and I know there are breeders breeding healthy dogs and buyers who want them for a purpose. I just worry about those who want a Doodle simply because they are a trend--I have a cousin who is like that, and it drives me crazy. Dogs shouldn't ever be used as accessories.
I'm not blind or a guide dog user, but my husband and I are preparing to bring home a dog tomorrow. This will be my first time owning a dog, and I totally felt you when you were stressing on the plane about how bringing the dog home is like bringing a new baby home from the hospital. I hope Elton John has become accustomed to his new lifestyle with you!
Good luck with your new puppy! Remember that the puppy blues are real. You might actually hate your puppy. That's normal. But you will love them more than anything in a year. ♥️
Service dog user here! Economy plus is the way to go for the best seat room for your money imo. I have a 60 lb golden retriever so much smaller than EJ but when it is possible, we often buy an extra seat. Usually 3 economy plus tickets is still a lot cheaper than 2 first clasa tickets and way more space (I usually fly with my mom).
If I had a dog like yours, I'd definitely buy two Economy plus seats too--I did that with my last dog. But it depends on the dog and the plane. I hate spending money on first class but that's the way that works best for both me and my 75 lbs GSD to be comfortable.arge if the economy seat you booked didn't work for your service dog.
Just got home from the doctor. Had a wonderful Uber driver that saw my guide cane and helped me to the car and to my door. Love seeing your experiences flying with a guide dog. I don't have a guide dog yet but maybe someday. Elton John did such a great job on his first flight.
Random, but i actually loved the ending where you were just walking through your place and filled Elton Johns water bowl. Your spacial awareness is so amazing!
So nice to see you so happy with Elton John. When you first announced that Ben will no longer be your dog and you were crying and told us you already had a new dog, I was so worried for you - thinking you were not able to bond so well with your new dog. I am glad I was wrong. Well, I should have known better 😅 and when Trevor announced today that he is leaving the show, I thought of you was glad you got to be on with him before his departure.
I love how much these Mira girls were obviously put in your life to help you get through such an emotionally hard time. I truly believe it was all for a reason ❤ love Elton John! He’ll be a healer of your broken heart ❤️🩹 xx
Haha. My service dog Ezra was the exact same. I remember one flight we had been delayed 4 hours and he still wouldn’t go inside at the designated area. I felt to so bad, but we was like “Yeah, I would rather hold it.” Guess the Good Boys only go outside was too ingrained in his little fluffy mind ❤
It's amazing how long these dogs can hold it. My best friend went to Australia with her guide dog, and that dog held it for fifteen hours; she absolutely refused to go anywhere but outside.
That’s so sweet that you guys cried when you left! They are clearly such an amazing people at Mira! Elton is such a good boy and looks so happy to be with you at home! 🐶❤️
Elton John is so cute and so cute on the plane and he’s got so much room, and love Elton’s reaction. Enjoyed this video a lot and thank you so much for sharing this beautiful video and he travelled so well.
I think Elton is going to give you so much love, more that you can imagine! I am so amazed by your entire journey with service dogs 💞💓 all your doggies are lucky to have you as their mom too

That's good that Elton was able to have more space on the flight home. It would've been no fun for him to be cramped on the flight home. That is so cute that you said taking a guide dog home from the training school is like taking home a newborn baby from the hospital and asking if you'll be a good pet mom. I remember when I adopted my cat Blue from the humane society in July 2020 and he was only ten weeks old, so I felt like I had to take care of him like a baby. Elton looks so chill in the car there.
I love your channel and appreciate how open you've been especially lately. I really feel for you but see how positive you're trying to be. Elton John is beautiful and also loved the Elton John style sun glasses!
What a beautiful and emotional end to this chapter!! So happy for you Molly because this outcome is such a dream! Excited for your life with Elton John! Also, my body is ALWAYS tight and tense..I would love a massage!

The same happened to me. My previous dog passed away while we were living in our last apartment. Then, I adopted my present dog and we moved to a house. In this house, Bagel is the only dog that has lived here. It was just a fresh start. I will never forget my dog Kuzco. He is here with us (ashes). But the memories and last experiences with him were at that apartment. Happy that Elton John made it to his new home. He is going to do great with his awesome Mom!❤
Awww Welcome Home Elton John! What a sweetheart and excellent traveler he is. He is PERFECT! Very happy for you Molly. Best Wishes for a wonderful new partnership and creating new memories in your new place!

My dog never used the airport pee areas. I would bring him in every trip but he absolutely refused. I guess he preferred to hold it. He flew many many times over the course of 4 years. Sometimes they just won’t and that’s okay!
Molly, I am getting my service dog next month, I have CP, so I love your series and it feels so good to see you go through this before I am 😊 You are a pro, and it will be my first service dog so this is helping my nerves ☺️
So glad everything worked out for you. Keep strong. I know what it’s like to lose a pet that your dearly attached too. It’s hard, but keep strong. New memories are in the works.
Just wanted to say that I always fly Delta because they are very accommodating to me and my dog and they will ALWAYS move us to at least comfort+ which provides extra leg room since my dog is 75 lbs. I should also mention they don’t try to charge us for this change we just call ahead! My dog also will not use the service animal relief areas 😭 unfortunately we didn’t start flying until later in her career and we could got teach it fully

Had a lab mix as a kid that would wait to pee for the whole 10 hour trip from Missouri to Colorado despite how much we stopped and let him go. As soon as we got to the grandparents place, he would pee a lake. Some dogs just seem to hold it until they are done traveling.
Molly I wish you well with your new guide dog it can be a big challenge to have a fury baby they can be cute and they can be mischievous. I wish you all the best Wally with your dog. I’m on my fifth dog and I live in Australia. It’s so hard to see the dogs go to retirement well for fun I could not give up he still with me he’s now 13.
Omg, Molly saying "Am I going to be a good mom? What does that cry mean?" hit me so hard. I just adopted my first rescue puppy- so much anxiety hoping I'll do a good job. She's very poorly and we don't know what the future holds for her, but I just want to make her time with me as comfortable and happy as possible.
I don’t know why but I felt so emotional watching this! Elton John is such a cutie, I think he is the perfect match and I can’t wait for more content from you guys ❤
Also when I brought all six of my guys how come they never had problems sleeping or anything it was just like nothing to them. So they didn’t have trouble sleeping, never had trouble eating, never had trouble going to the bathroom, never had an upset stomach, they just had no problems when I brought them home. And my GUIDE DOGS went to the bathroom before we left the school and later that evening when we were home. Even in training Muvico somewhere they never had trouble going to the restroom before we went into places. All six of my gray dogs were perfect angels sent to me by God. and I hope GUIDE DOGS will be the perfect angel also.
I'm confused. Is there a video that explains Molly's living situation? She was in LA, but she recently bought a condo in British Columbia. I've obviously missed some episodes.
Elton John is so perfect for you Molly make beautiful memories and i believe in you and so proud of you and and have fun and enjoy life to the fullest together xoxo 😘 🍂👻🍃👻🍂🍁🍁🍂🎃👻🎃🍂🍁🍁🎃👻🍃🍃🎃🍁🍁🍁🍂🎃👻🍃🍃🎃🍁🍁🍁🍁🍂🎃🎃👻🍃🍃🎃🍂🍁🍁🍁🍁🍂👻
Yea, planes definitely feel more tight lately. I still love to fly though. And your new guide dog is cute and beautiful! And what type of plane are you on? I don't remember Delta serving such food.
When I was in the Montreal airport this summer, I refilled my water bottle at the water fountain near the doggie spot. I totally thought of Molly and her pups! 😂 (It did not stink when I was there though.)
Regarding the tight shoulders. I have always struggled with my shoulders being incredibly tight and always in pain, to the point where I eventually developed tendinitis in both of them. I get Botox injections for migraines, and they often put a few shots around the shoulders to help reduce the tightness around specific nerves. I mentioned my shoulders hurting once to my neurologist, and he just put a few extra injections around there. He said that they use Botox a lot to help with muscle tightness around specific joints, and it really helps a lot. My shoulders are still super tight. (I am pretty much addicted to my tens unit right now because they are so bad.) But there is definitely a significant difference with vs without the injections. If you are finding yourself with constant soreness and tension headaches because your shoulders are so tight, you might want to look into getting Botox for them. (It doesn’t reduce your ability to move or anything. It just prevents the muscles from seizing up.)
Not Molly, but omg thank you for this. I got tendinitis from a job and my shoulders have been awful for years. I’m also addicted to my TENS unit. I am going to look into Botox for that and my migraines as well.
@@stephlang3073 I hope it works for you. We are doing a combination of botox, steroid shots, and physical therapy for mine right now. I lost the ability to walk and broke my back earlier this year, so my shoulders are taking a lot of stress as I work to regain my mobility. It's caused the tendinitis to get really bad. But so far the treatments seem to be helping. I hope that you are able to find something that works for you!
Would love to know what your trainer says about pottying in the indoor SARA. I can never get my dog to use it and I feel so bad she has to hold it for so long. Especially during layovers.
So happy to see he did well on the flight! I was worried because he's so big. Such a good boy! Just like my Galloper. Hope we can get him to pee on the place!
I never ever have problems like that with all six of my GUIDE DOGS before I came home they had no problem go to the potty at the school. And then when I would come home with them I never had any potty with them going to the potty at home. And never had any problems with them eating. My GUIDE DOGS was never stress leaving the GUIDE DOGS school. Guess I was lucky with six dogs that never was like that. And leaving them home alone my six GUIDE DOGS never had anxiety leaving them home alone. They liked being home alone sometimes by themselves. But they never ever had anxiety from being home alone. They would stay home and listen to the radio, listen to the TV, or just listen to both. That’s why I love my GUIDE DOGS school here in Florida that’s in Palmetto Florida across the bridge from Bradington and 45 minutes from Tampa.

Elton is such a cute boy ❤ I love his face, it’s saying like: I’m here for the ride, wherever you’ll take me I’ll happily go. 🥰
If he could watch this video, Ben would be SO happy to see what good hands (well, paws) you're in with Elton. This is the start of another beautiful partnership for sure. Side note, loving the white Elton John-esque sunglasses you were wearing on the way home from the airport - they're perfect! ❤
He handled it like a champ!
Have a safe and wonderful trip back home Molly Elton John so excited for you! Xoxo 😘 🍃👻🎃🍃🍃👻🎃🎃🍃👻🎃🎃👻👻🎃🎃🎃🍁🍁🍁🍂🍂🍂👻👻🎃🎃👻🍃👻👻🍃🍂🍂🍂🍁🍁🍁🍃🎃👻🍃👻🎃🎃👻🍂🍂🍂👻🍃🍃🍃👻🍃🍃
Congratulations on a wonderful first flight! ♡ I just know you and Elton will have a fantastic time together in that apartment! I love the layout!!
Don't worry you are going to be a great mom and he is going to be a great furry son!
We love this dog.
So glad you made it safe home Molly and Elton and time to make memories together start journey xoxo 😘 🍂👻🍃🍃👻🍂🎃🍂🍂🍂🍃🍃🍂🎃🍁🎃🎃🍂👻🍃👻🍁🎃🍂👻👻🍃🍃👻🍂🎃🎃🍂🍂👻👻🍃👻🎃🍁🍁🎃🍂👻🍃👻🎃🎃🎃
I had a dog who held his poop in for 3 days because it wasn't on the beach or under a redwood. They can be stubborn that way sometimes.
So glad y’all made it home safely. I can’t wait to see him meet lavender and Gallup just like Ben did.
He looks EXACTLY like my Newfie baby. The sweetest
He just has the cutest face :3
Got to love how the subtitles in english call her mom "Friend"
I don’t know why but I felt so emotional watching this! Elton John is such a cutie, I think he is the perfect match and I can’t wait for more content from you guys ❤
Such a good boy!
His face on your knee though. So so cute!
It's so funny..I was JUST rewatching your last video. And then I see this new one is up as soon as I finished ❤
So good to see you molly you are always amazing love you so much i always appreciate your videos
Wow I’m so early I was just thinking “I need a molly video” !
And here it is!
Yea, planes definitely feel more tight lately. I still love to fly though. And your new guide dog is cute and beautiful!
And what type of plane are you on? I don't remember Delta serving such food.
Elton’s face is actually the cutest thing in the world
Travel Tip! If you are willing to fly Jet Blue, you can sit in Comfy+ (8 more inches of leg room) for only $50 more per ticket!
MOLLY - very very random but I NEED to know where you got your fuzzy lounging chair - looks soooo cozy!!
I really hope you and ellashae does a collab sometime on your channel, her energy matches yours so well
I could just stare at him for the rest of my life 🖤
Welcome home, Elton.
So excited to watch
Elton John's face looks so huggable!
Hope Molly's cat Lavender is still doing well! I'd love to see an update video on her and her first time meeting Elton John.
Love seeing your videos in my timeline 💖 Mr. Elton is so handsome 🥹
6:18 Depending on how much you fly, could it be time for your private jet?
I never heard the name elton before,I really like the name
Would love to know what your trainer says about pottying in the indoor SARA. I can never get my dog to use it and I feel so bad she has to hold it for so long. Especially during layovers.
The one video I’m waiting for is Elton meeting Lavender for the first time
Love hearing him drink
Your sunnies on the way home really match Elton John's name! Big and sparkly! ✨
Thought the same! I wonder if the real Elton John finds the guide dog when he googled himself!
Future Molly, your makeup is gorgeous!!!!!
Happy Friday Molly and Elton John Hope you have a great weekend xoxo 😘 👻🍃🍁🍁🎃👻🍂🍂👻🍃🎃🍁🎃👻🍂👻🍃🎃🍃🍃🍂👻🍃🍁🍁🍁🍁🍃👻🍂👻👻🎃🍁🍁🎃🍃🍂🍂🍂🍃🎃🍃👻🍂
