Spines of c7-t12 .
Insertion:
Clavicle
Acromion and spine of Scaula
Action:
Inferior muscles:
Depress scapula.
Middle fibers:
Adduct scapula
Superior fibers: rotate scapula upward.

I have been having some neck issues while doing lateral raises in the gym. This is helping me understand that I probably need to fix my superior trap imbalance in order to fix that issue.
