Carrie, You are absolutely 100% without a shadow of a doubt my favorite crochet instructor when it comes to crochet wearables. Your tutorials are so easy to follow. Even your written patterns are so easy to understand. Thank you for your expertise❤
One small point: When you are showing how to crochet the front and back panels together, you suggest placing a cable side to a flat side. I believe you meant that cable sides should be facing each other with the inside of the sweater facing out. Wouldn't want someone to crochet the sweater panels together with a wrong side facing out. Great pattern and instructions. Will be giving a go soon. Thank you for all your time in creating these beautiful patterns and your very easy to follow instructional videos. Happy crocheting everyone.

This tutorial was so helpful! I just finished making my sweater and I am beyond happy how it turned out, this is the first article of clothing out of crochet that actually came out good! Thank you!
Any tips for a beginner? I just started it and am 3 rows of loops in. This is my first article of clothing so I'm a bit nervous about seaming it together.

Even if you feel like it’s not working out, it probably is and you might just be over thinking it. i thought it was going to look like a beginner made it but it looked so good my mom literally thought i bought it somewhere and asked where i got it. so just remember your stitching and to just keep going, it took a bit longer than i thought but i followed the tutorial through and through and it worked out great!! good luck, and i just know yours will be great too!
Hey carrie. You're an excellent teacher. I just made an light brown cardigan for my daughter. It looks gorgeous. Your instruction is very clear. God bless you DEAR. Greetings from canada.
I wasn’t planning on making another cardigan...Already have 5 I made myself this year, but then I saw this tutorial and I ran around the house like a mad woman trying to find enough yarn lol. Because I am a visual learner following patterns in writing is hard for me but watching you do this is easier for me to learn. Thank you so much.
Hello from sunny So. Cal.! I am almost complete with the back panel of this sweater and I love it. I'm taking it a little slower than usual as this and another in a different color will be given as Christmas gifts. I've made many items using your patterns. You are a great teacher....thank you!
Looooove this! Usually abhor the background music but this is almost perfect. Thx for sharing. The chain ten to have a loop, initially, threw me. I thought “that’s dumb” but it’s brilliant and gives the sweater such texture which is awesome for a solid single color
I just found your channel, and I’m so glad I did. I love this sweater and am going to give it a try, after I get all of my Christmas stuff done. 😉 Thanks so much for the extended sizes. Also the camera angle on your stitch creation was outstanding. There was no guessing on which stitch you meant, especially at the beginning and end of rows. Thanks.
Hey Carrie. I love all of your patterns. You’re lovely to watch and follow. This cardigan is beautiful and I can’t wait to star. I already have my yarn.
Hi Carrie, I'm from Austria my English is not very good. But I don't miss the Germain language when I hear your explanations 🙂👍! The cardigan is great! Thank you! Hugs from Austria 🤗
Hello Carrie! I love your video and all your patterns, I will be starting this soon and I just have one question, I noticed your hand is pretty loose with the stitching. I am in between loose and tight, but my stitches are definitely tighter than yours so I wonder if that will mess up my sizing? I am going for a size Large, but a longer cardigan below the butt, so I just want to ask before I start so I can mind my hands when stitching. I wouldn’t want to make them too too tight and end up with a more medium sized cardigan, that wouldn’t fit lol. I hope to hear back soon! Thank you and much love! ❤
Thank you so much! This is my second project. The first one was the cocoon shrug. Your videos are so helpful and easy to follow even for a beginner like me.

Hey Carrie, I’m so excited to make my first sweater bc of your amazing tutorial! Thank you for sharing and all of your time to make these videos. Greetings from Florida. ☀️ xo
I am starting this now using Lion Brand Pound of Love in Waterfall Cascade which is a pretty sage green color. I hope I don't hit a snag later because I'm stitching as I'm watching so hopefully this is very beginner friendly and I'll have an easy time completing it. I've been looking for a sweater or cardigan I can make for myself and I like the texture and big sleeves on this one. Wish me luck.
I made this for my son. He wears a lg/xlg but to be on the safe side I went with a 2xl. I had to add extra rows to make it longer. The underarm was too snug and the lower part of the sleeves were way too big I tore the sweater apart and am trying to figure out what to do about the sleeves. My plan is to remake the sleeves and try decreases. I'm not sure how that's going to work out. I love the sweater though. It's beautiful.
Hi Carrie, I’m Elizabeth and I love this cardigan - I have a question - if I want the bottom to be straight instead of curling in with the rib, do I just not do the rib or is there a way to make the rib looser so it doesn’t pull in but still finishes the cardi and matches the rest of the trim? Thanks so much 🙏🏻
I made this sweater with a plum colored yarn. I didn’t put the loops on the arms. The trim on the bottom and sleeves and around the front and neck are the front post back post alternating. I love it!
