lol I wondered who would be the first to point this out.
So I did actually plan to address this but the video was a bit too long, it's not based on it, but it does have one VEERRRRY Small nod to it.
The final piece... is the nose.
@@BadnikMechanic That's really funny, considering SEGA is aware of the statue, I wonder if it was on purpose or just because the nose is one of the lighter and later pieces? 🤔

One of my early 2000s memories was being really sick, not able to get out of bed, I had my gamecube with pokemon channel which Is a game you play daily to unlock channels and other things, and an advent calender
while I was sick that was my routine, wake up, see what was new In pokemon channel while eating a chocolate
I'm supposed to be saving for a house but... that's such a cool Sonic statue! Sonic looks so cool on a board!

Sonic on a snowboard always makes me think of The Jetzons song "Hard Times."
100% want more figures you assemble like these. I want to see them address some of the fit issues, but the sculpt is fantastic. The concept of assembling seems like genuine fun to me.
Fun fact: Between Carnival Night and Ice Cap, there was going to be Flying Battery (which would later be used for Sonic & Knuckles). Sonic was originally going to use a metal door for a snowboard instead of an actual snowboard.

I liked seeing you on camera, but just so you know, the sound effects only came out the left audio channel!
Oh the ring effect? Yeah that's because it's only got audio on the left channel and for some reason it works better than being true stereo.
I'm gonna assume this is made of PVC or vinyl materials, which if it is what might make the tighter fits easier is if you heat them up with a hair dryer (on low) or something. That usually helps with stuff like this, and in some cases is mandatory.
to specify, you heat up the part that has the hole, so in this case heat up the snowy part (don't worry it won't melt)
I know this is a comment from 2 years ago.. but THANK YOU! I errm.. got this figure last year for Christmas and hadn't opened it yet 🤦🏻♀️ decided to put it together today and that blasted board was a bugger.. I decided to heat it up with a hair dryer, (just a tad mind) and the board snapped in place after that.
