You could make a Christmas Rivals story out of this. Santa Sonic and Mario have been friendly rivals since they first met. Mario thinks he's got the best means of delivering presents, until Goomba, Bob-omb and Ice Hammer Bro pull off a mean trick. Sonic is going to speed off, but he stops and rescues Mario. The two decide to team up with each other, and both deliver the presents on time. Sonic and Mario learn that working together as a team is better than leaving friends behind.

(11:06) That Dan is an Ice Bro and they do appear in New Super Mario Bros Wii & New Super Mario Bros U and they do throw ice balls (just like the Ice Flower and the Penguin Suit) and it's the only Bro variant that was only exclusive that was different from the Hammer, Boomerang, and Fire Bros throughout the 2D Mario games
I am going to have to check if they are in Mario Maker, as that is the one I most often play lately...

Which Calendar do you prefer the Mario or Sonic ?
I think the Sonic one is more bang for your buck you get all the main characters in one pack plus 3 emeralds plus tons of enemies. The Mario one for me feel like there’s not a lot going on and just rehashes do like the snowmen though. I wish we got a Bowser and DK one or a Wario and Waluigi I feel like they are missing definitely Bowser 👀
