Thanks for this video. Glad to see these triggers are repairable. I had my second trigger break on me last night in the middle of a shoot, so I ordered a replacement since I have another shoot scheduled for tomorrow. It looks like I'll be ordering a couple of these today so I can fix my two broken triggers. At least I'll have two good spares now for when the new one breaks. I wish Godox would just make these triggers with an all metal hot shoe. I saw a video where they started doing that now with some of their new flashes, so hopefully we can start seeing some all metal replacement hot shoes in the near future.
Thanks for the video and the link. The price is 40% of the complete Godox X Pro S!! it's crazy. The price of this item should be less than $14, same as the hot shoe for the Godox V860II.
Hi! Great video. I have a question: My Godox V860iii's hot shoe also broke and I bought two replacements but I couldn't find one for the X Pro S where I live. I wonder if I could use one of the V860iii hot shoes in the X Pro. Would it work?
Hi, thanks for the video. I have changed the hotshoe from XproF to XproC but it lose the HSS function with my Canon. I wonder if it could be updated the firmware to XproC to trigger the HSS?
Can I change the hotshoe from Sony to Fuji? As my Sony trigger legs are broken. And wondering if I change to Fuji shoe. Would it work for Fuji system? 😊
Tried this on my Godox X ProC and no dice, they have glued in the hotshoe and there's no way to get it off except taking a saw to it :< Great video though, it's appreciated
ya es el segundo xpro que rompo, y por ahora uso el xpro de canon que es mas resistente pero no tengo las funciones hss y otros beneficios, muchas gracias por compartir

They are doing everything to keep us from replacing a super weak link that was engineered that way in purpose. I have the Xpro 2 and I’ve used mine maybe 6 times and it’s already broken. There’s no way to replace the damn thing. They also make it fit way too tight on purpose so it breaks faster. This is scummy practice by godox. Currently looking for a better trigger.
Bro, this video helped me so much. Thank you!!

For normal flash you can replace with fuji, but HSS will not function.

can you take the metal hot shoe from the v1 flash and put it on trigger
It might be possible . I think if the connections point are the same you could do it
Where did you find the proper screwdriver to do this? I ordered an entire set on Amazon and none of them are long enough to get to the screw..
same, but i used a screw driver to make the hole bigger lol
