Great video, how are the LED Lasfit holding up? Any changes, flickering, error codes? I have an MDX and want to try LED's but I do not see any videos from people talking about the reliability of the plug n play vs continuing with oem hid setup..aka buying new hid ballasts, igniters, bulbs,

Thanks. Totally understand. thankfully I haven't had any issues with them, no error codes or flickering. So far they're doing great and have great output so no regrets, highly recommend. 💪

I did purchased their lights on my G. They didn’t do a good job on color matching. One is more yellow while another is more white.

i can see in your video that your lights also have those micro cracks in them too, mine have it really bad on the driver side, cheap plastic i guess.

Yeah they're very delicate to heat. Rather it be from uv damage or from a buffer when doing headlight restoration. I ended up replacing the housing with new one when I repainted the car

@@GQ37official oh wow I didn't know you could do that, is there a place where you can buy the housings or lenses or whatever you might call it, the outer plastic part.

@@Runescape. yea there's several aftermarket ones out there. I wanted black out housings for the look I was going for so here's the best ones I found ebay.us/l1YLWn
However, I've heard the light output isn't good if you use the oem HID bulbs. I had already upgraded to LED lighting from Lasfit so I kept that and put it in these DEPO housings and have no issue with light output. I couldn't do a video of the install as I did it while my car was in the shop and being painted so I was in a hurry, but the main thing with after market headlights is to get the beam pattern as close to OEM as possible. To do this I started with the OEM headlights and marked where the beam pattern was on the wall with tape. I marked L and R where it was, how high it went and how wide each side went. Then without moving the car I replaced one headlight at a time and adjusted the beam pattern on the DEPO lights so that it matched where the OEM pattern was on the wall. This is important as they are kind of out of whack straight out of the box and once they're installed you can't adjust them, you have to take the headlight back out and turn the knob etc, (with the bumper off) so it's important to get it right while you're installing. Hope that helps!

Those are the low beams, not high beams?

It's both low and high beams. The d2s pulls double duty
