Thanks for this! I am going to have to bite the bullet and have this same procedure. I've been putting it off bc i am so nervous! I have a polyp that keeps coming back (after 2 previous LEEP removal procedures). It normally does not bother me early in my cycle, but right before my period i will have some spotting following intercourse as well as some pressure in my cervical area following strenuous exercise (I'm a runner/triathlete). I have an IUD that is 7 years old, that my doctor said he will replace once my healing has completed....hopefully within a couple of weeks after the procedure, as I'm not looking to get pregnant.
BootsNsaddle Just has mind this past Friday. Taking off work today (Monday) cause I am still bleeding. But other than that no real pain. For surgery I went to sleep and had a nap. When I woke up it was all over and I was fully dressed!! Have no memory of anything else. Good luck. You got this. 🙏

BootsNsaddle You will be fine! I was terrified of being put under as well. But it was just a very relaxing nap. When I woke up I had no pain and I felt like I had slept for about five or six hours straight. But the whole procedure took less than an hour.
I am having this done on Dec 6. I been bleeding since 9/25 with a few days here and there and had a trip to the er and was told there was nothing wrong on the 5th of November. Then on on Monday, and had the camera thing and biopsy and was told i had polyps and now surgery. Thnx for your video
I was so you the first time I was going to be put under.....afraid of not waking up. My BP was so high that they couldn't even get me back to the pre-surgery room until 4 hours after my scheduled surgery. I am going in for the same procedure you gad done. Perimenopause has plagued me with such heavy, non-stop periods (maybe 1 day break every so often) that I am homebound. I am nervous about the position of having legs up so high because I have a bad back and the low back pain is excriciating for me. Is the position so awkward that you are sort of contorted?
Getting proedure in a few hours. Couldn't sleep. Nervous. I have been bleeding 6 months because a series of Doctors and medical issues. Hope I do well.
Not yet, but we just found out I have low progesterone as well... The procedure did get rid of my polyps and retained placenta, so I'm sure it didn't hurt to get it done, and probably upped our chances!

I had that same procedure as you and got a period still a few days later

Did you get your progesterone up with diet changes or meds?
My progesterone has been high enough to not need supplements for the last few cycles! I think it might be due to being on fertility drugs.
