Nice bass but I doubt I could adapt to an instrument with a shorter scale than 30".

We shall see. I have six 30" basses and one 34" Fender Jazz (which I never play anymore). I have a gorgeous black one scheduled for delivery on Friday (it's Wednesday here in France).

You wanted to know what I thought of the Valiant Mini Bass and your video? I liked both so much, I ordered an in-stock black one from Valiant's website. It turned out that the bass was in stock...at their dealer in Los Angeles, Amp Shop Bass Exchange. It has cleared import customs in Philadelphia and is scheduled to be delivered to me on Friday here in France. It will be well-traveled by the time I receive it. That custom case you showed gives me a good feeling about the condition the bass will be in after its many travels.
