I don’t often get hyped for a UA-cam video. But after more than a year of anticipation from watching that first part of these masterful videos, I couldn’t wait for this. I don’t know how it took me a month for this to come to me but I’m so glad it did. Thank you for making these videos about my personal favorite genre of fiction.
I'm glad you finally found it! It's probably due to UA-cam getting overloaded with other content about everything that's going on in the world and Cyberpunk 2077, but I'm thrilled you're enjoying the series!
Ok, must thank you because "Empire of Steel" by Essenger is the kind of cyberpunk music, that I needed and it's been 2 weeks of me non-stop replaying the intro to this just to hear it. That being said, find it funny as it's lyrics are more apt for "Cyberpunk"'s band SAMURAI, than the actual band CDPR have chosen.
Dude, awesome work! Videos like these are the reason why UA-cam these days is waaaay more appealing than old school television. So much effort, research and love put into the content!
I've been excited for the second chapter of this series since seeing part 1, and then you opened with Essenger's "Empire of Steel". Immediately on board!
This is incredible, I don't even know what to say. There's so much long form content on UA-cam these days and most of the time it's pretty low quality and not worth my time, but the production value and love you put into this is breathtaking. Bravo!!

Thank you for creating such a deep dive into this genre and showing and exploring all its forms and mediums.
Shoutout on that Genesis version of Shadowrun. I remember playing them both and it was night and day. I'm sure there are fans of the snes version but as a 12 year old boy I remember the Sega version of Shadowrun blew me away. It is truly one of the most underrated titles ever.
I know you didn't talk much about Armitage III, but I recognized those visuals during the introduction to Eastern entries into the Cyberpunk genre. It definitely fits in the genre, particularly with the questions of the disposability of "undesirables" and the question of humanity. It was one of my entry points into the genre, and I wanted to thank you for including it, even if only as a couple clips.
I almost included a section about Armitage III. It was one of the earliest cyberpunk anime I watched back in the day, but I had to pick my battles. Too many titles to cover in this series. Some of the visuals are really stunning, though, so I had to include them somewhere.
This is the second time I've watched these videos throughout (this is the third time). Just such an incredible documentary account of this whole fascinating genre and subculture. Your attention to detail is second to none and your style is so relaxed and easy to follow yet you allow us to see the passion for what you do here. It's brilliantly executed!
This is quickly becoming my favorite documentary of all time. Give me so much more appreciation for Cyberpunk 2077 and how they’ve drawn on so many cultural aspects of iconic literature, games and movies. This just blows me away.
flashback was one of the best games of that era. think it was the first to use actual human tracing for the movement of the character and the story was amazing. had a great atmosphere and was pretty tough at times. really good i always hoped their would be a remake of this

Damn dude, you need more recognition. This was brilliantly put together. Totally didn't connect the dots the cold war bringing imaginations of "end games" therefore planting the seed of a dystopian future in millions of people. Mind blown. Man, what's COVID going to do to the art world?
You should be applauded for all the research and production quality of all your hard work. Congrats on yet another great installment of this series!
Shout out to Flashback. That brings back so many memories - most of which are centered around late nights and creative excuses for not doing home work. The depth to the second part of this documentary series completely eclipses part one, which at the time I didn't think would be possible. Congrats
Still my favourite game of all time.
This is good enough to be a TV documentary. That's the highest compliment I think I can give it!!!
For sure.
Completely agree
Better than a TV documentary
TV is a tool of the corpo sponsers, currated and watered-down for mass consumption. This docu-series is a brute force pirate satfeed meant to slap you in the gob and shake the dust from your circuits.
Just the first sounds gave ghost in the shell away, masterpiece
It's finally here. Been waiting for this for a long time.
FACTS
This is probably one of the best documentary style videos I've seen like this. I came across part 1 when I was doing some research on making my own video, and I missed part 2 until now. I can't wait for part 3. Amazing high quality stuff!
The timing of this Part 2 release is beholding a year later, but an awesome documentary, really into this genre these days thanks for putting this into work Indigo!
I can't even imagine how much time and effort you have put into it. Thank you for making this!
Just amazing. This documentary is going to be one of the best things i've seen this year. Really looking forward to part 3!
dude the editing, the effort, the crisp ass voice, everything about this is amazing! I feel like i owe money to you lol
"crisp ass voice" XD
There's absolutely no disappointment to be had with this delve into cyberpunk. Your knowledge of the subject matter and your production values are phenomenal. The cyberstorian we need, not the one we deserve. Looking forward to Part 3!
I think The Fifth Element gave off quite a few Cyberpunk vibes.
Loved this series. Great job, Indigo!
A moment of appreciation to one of the only UA-camrs who puts the music credits on their videos. True Hero
This documentary is better than anything I watched in Netflix. Well done!! This is HIGH STANDARD production!
Maybe because hollywood more focus on diversity rather than the story
this continues to be one of
A) the best things I've ever seen on UA-cam
B) the best documentaries I've ever watched
C) my favorite things ever
you kick ass bro
*The prophecy has been fulfilled!!*
I can't imagine how much work went into this, you should be massively proud of what you've created. This series is incredible and absolutely worth the wait. Thank you so much for putting in as much time and effort as you did.
This is brilliant. Seriously. Such work well done. An art piece really. Please finish the series and give us the 4th installment. You have no idea how helpful this series have been to my mental health. Please.
Loved Klayton's music. Shows how much research has been done during the making of this great series
Klayton aka Scandroid and Essenger really made something special here.
I love this song. I have loved klaytons music for years. Him and The Anix are my favourites. Only just started listening to Essenger
I've been waiting for this! Part 1 was just an awesome, well-put-together production. Thank you so much for making part 2, and I'll be looking forward to part 3!
21:25 Hell yeah! Thank you for talking about Gunnm! (Battle Angel Alita!) ❤️❤️
@@Indigo_Gaming I’m equally thrilled you’re making this series
FINALLY. Loved the first one, I'm ready for this.
This is incredible, I don't even know what to say. There's so much long form content on UA-cam these days and most of the time it's pretty low quality and not worth my time, but the production value and love you put into this is breathtaking.
Bravo!!
I was waiting for this and I was not disappointed. You've put a lot of work into this and it shows! I've been recommending this documentary to everyone who wants to know more about the genre. I'm really looking forward to part 3
This is insane.
The digital version of a bookshelf filled with Videogame and Movie boxes.
Love it.
Pls never stop
I can only repeat myself: this documentary is a masterpiece! Thumbs up!
I am beyond ecstatic that this has been released saw part 1 and was enthralled yet again by this amazing genre and all the ideas borne from it. I can only say that this is nothing short of an excellent production in which a lot of love and care has gone into it and i am nothing short of amazed. Thank you for creating such a deep dive into this genre and showing and exploring all its forms and mediums.
Really appreciate the praise! Helps motivate me as I write Part 3.
Shoutout on that Genesis version of Shadowrun. I remember playing them both and it was night and day. I'm sure there are fans of the snes version but as a 12 year old boy I remember the Sega version of Shadowrun blew me away. It is truly one of the most underrated titles ever.
You know the video is gonna be good when it starts with a Scandroid song....
Yeah boy!
Scandroid AND Essenger, couldn't ask for more
Haha! had the same thought! Recognized it immediately. Indigo knows what they're doing :)
I hate when people say this line but IVE NEVER EVER CLICKEN A VIDEO THIS FAST, DUDE IVE WAITED SO LONG FOR THIS
clicked so fast that i mistyped the comment lmao
Absolutely ditto!
I have the title of the video was New Bridgette B
@@bobagucci502 a man of culture
@@someonexd1961 Let the record reflect this video has been swiftly and vigorously clicken...and now we wait...again lol
This is a perect documentary that left me excited, satisfied and absolutely motivated to explore. Thank you!
I've been using UA-cam almost daily for more than a decade, and this is one of the best videos I've seen. Kudos!
Cyber City Oedo 808 really should be here. That was massively influential.
Hitting every important note, great series!
You did an absolutely great job making this series. Thoroughly enjoyed the last one, looking forward to savouring this and the next one!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
this triology is why I love youtube. This is amazing.
So glad you enjoyed!
I meant I've watched them twice and this is the third time lol.
i’m watching all 3 for the third time too.
So happy to see Beneath a Steel Sky get a mention. I loved that game as a kid, all 14 discs of it!
Tfw I come back to watch these after replaying Cyberpunk with the 2.0 update
Perfect background vids
To this day "PERSUADATRON" still pops in my head from time to time
"Almost Human" was an interestng TV series that also got cancelled quickly... I had high hopes when it first premiered...
I'm looking forward to digging into that when I catch up to the 2010s.
Perfect usage of Scandroid. Scandroid is the soundtrack of the dystopian Cyberpunk future.
Ahhh yes!
My most anticipated YT Video ever
Phenomenal documentary! Can’t wait for part 3!!
Tight Tight Tight Soundtrack 41:20 OMG! THIS IS THE JAM! outstanding DOCUMENTARY FEELING BLESS!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed.
So glad we finally got it! UA-cam finally gave me something for my bday! lol Just need part 3 for Christmas. Joining the Patreon.
It's been a thousand years...
Facts.
The year is 2056. The Indigo Gaming Broadcast Corporation releases Cyberpunk Documentary PART 3 upon the unsuspecting world...
I cannot understate the amount of work that went into making this series of essay! Thank you so very much!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm anxiously awaiting pt 3. This series is great
thank you for letting people know about my favorite ttrpg shadowrun.
This is quickly becoming my favorite documentary of all time. Give me so much more appreciation for Cyberpunk 2077 and how they’ve drawn on so many cultural aspects of iconic literature, games and movies. This just blows me away.
flashback was one of the best games of that era. think it was the first to use actual human tracing for the movement of the character and the story was amazing. had a great atmosphere and was pretty tough at times. really good i always hoped their would be a remake of this
Yeah I mention the fantastic rotoscoping they did for the game's animations. Still looks incredible today!
This is such a divine quality of both writing and editing. More people really should watch this video. Thank you for your hard work!
Part 2. Even better than part 1, and we barely scratched the surface!
Thank you for putting the ad breaks in logical places
I specifically edited pauses here and there to place the breaks so as to not interrupt the flow of the video. 👍
Not a programmer nor developer, but being a 80s baby, Cyberpunk has that music that takes me back to a time when I imagined the future.
Man, this documentary itself is cyberpunk. From the visuals and music to the narrator whose voice makes you question his anatomy. Love it. Now give me part 3!
Checking in to the comment section, just watched till the end of GitS review and in need of a cigarette.
Thank you Indigo and everyone involved, this documentary series (I remember that there would be a part 3!) is a milestone on it's own in culture history.
The plan is to do 5 parts. Whether I'll live to see them through, is another matter. XD
@@Indigo_Gaming Planning nowadays is somewhere in the scope of astrology, but we're hopeless without dreaming. Wish you all the best so I could make a party with friends at the end :)
This is absolutely magnificent. This is Netflix quality. Its talking about all the things I love.
When the Terminator begins slugging the T-1000 with bullets, I got goosebumps. Hair standing on my arm.
Oh hey, we didn't have to wait 2077 years for this one. Cool!
In all seriousness though - you rock man. Keep up the good work!
