Y'know, it's honestly worth the higher price for the game for there to be real life licensed vehicles in it. I enjoy having brands I recognize.
Paystar irl came in multiple configurations, including 6x4, 6x6, 8x4 and 8x6.
Also, Scammell is actually British.

@@luiggi51ar I haven't tried many mods but those old zil 130, ural 432010 and ural typhoon are really good, they're even more detailed than In-game trucks...although the first 2 are ported from mudrunner so it's same devs that made those trucks.

I think the ANK might be based on the M939s predecessor, the M39 5 ton truck. Could also be based on an M809 5 ton truck. All 3 are in the same family of vehicles, sharing many characteristics.
Since it's not licensed it's hard to tell, but I think it's based on the M35 "Deuce and a half" 2.5 ton truck because of it's size. And they probably got some design cues from other trucks in the family including the M939 5 ton truck.

Really good this video. Appreciated the way you've put the camera in order to compare it directly with the picture. But I wanted to do one question. Are the scale of some trucks a little bit off? I.E The P12 is that huge compared with the Loadstar?
I am not very good at judging scale, specially in a game but devs did a very good job at making them as detailed as possible specially the licenced one, since they mentoned the dimensions of trucks in their early pre-release vehicle presentations so I assume that scaling must be accurate but again I can't judge it.
Chevy did have base models simply labeled C/K1500, depending on if they were 4x4 capable. The name, Silverado, wasn't implemented until the year 2000. So the in-game model is definitely a base model; and seeing as the one in-game comes stock with AWD, it should be labeled as just K1500.
You might be right, I don't know much about these trucks as I am not from USA and also these trucks are not available in my country but the photo I showed here is a Silverado
Yes the in game truck would have been a Chevrolet K1500 (K is 4WD) Stepside Trim level is most likely Cheyenne trim level because it is a work truck, Silverado was the top trim level. Silverado became the model name in 1998.

International offered the 5070 as a heavy duty 6x6 truck it had multiple configurations
I've replied in some of the comments on specific trucks, but one more picture you could use for the Loadstar 1700.
There is a light blue one at auction (I have it saved as a screen shot) with the same box maintainer frame instead of the pickup body. It's an old 1977 Loadstar 1700 that was a US Forest Service Bush fire truck and the auction description states it's got a 500gallon water tank in the maintainer frame too (I find that hard to see for the size, which is about the same size as the fuel tank addon in game, 50 or 100 gallon (200 / 400 liter) maybe, but not 500 gallon (2000 liter)).

The Chevy Apache irl pic is badass
yup.. it's a one-of custom made by an employee of Western Star in town (well, in town before they moved from Kelowna BC Canada to Portland Oregon in 2002). 59 Apache stretched out to fit on an old M135 Canadian Army 2.5 ton truck frame / suspension. With WWS front and rear bumpers. The writing below the tailgate (above the rear bumper) which is reversed in the rear picture says "Tweety's Revenge". I have some IRL pics when he had it parked in the parking lot at the rink I work at.
international paystar series have AWD options, not 'international paystar 5070' but 'international paystar 5050' have 6x6. and snowrunner have two international paystar. one is international paystar 5070 the first generation and other is international paystar 5600 ts(twin steer) the second generation.

I'm thinking of getting this game, & was wondering, do you only get bonus trucks with the season pass, & is it worth the extra money? I enjoyed Mudrunner, especially loading logs with the truck mounted crane arm, got some good laughs out of it!😅

They need to add an option to change the length of the chassis of trucks because they waste so much space on some and others there's not enough space. They should also add a utility and a mod sections when purchasing trucks.

The M1070A1 or 1070F is a different truck compared to the M1070A0, the truck in the game is A0 not A1.
But it's name says M916A1 in game and It's a licenced vehicle so why would they put wrong name if they licenced the correct truck.
I think what he's getting at is: Showing Derry Longhorn 4520, you switched photos from the Oshkosh 1070A0, to the 1070A1 when comparing the IRL to game shots.
The A1 was originally designed for the British as the 1070F (before getting refined for the US market as the A1), and except the the chassis, and axel layout, it's got a different cab, transmission, engine, transfer case, internals .. basically everything but the chassis and axel they are different trucks.
If that makes sense, because sometimes I tend to ramble a bit when comparing things.
