boys done a real good job with it. The Lead guitar breaks was really good improv those licks could and would have been great on the original!

I don't get it, I don't like his playing at all, it's kind of simplified most of the time and his timing is off. Sometimes it's like he's playing notes from another song? At least his clothes are presentable whereas the other 2 guys look like they just rolled out of bed wearing the same thing they'd been wearing for days.
The way Carson looked at his brother was like: yeah, you got this!

I've heard scores of covers of this ARA tunes as well as the original. These kids are GREAT. Vocals AND guitars. Nice work, gentlemen. Licks, vocals, harmony, arrangement, clean simplicity, etc. Jam on boys. You have a future in this biz.

Actually that's not a three part harmony that's a two-part Harmony there's lead and backup vocals that's all you're hearing three part harmonies are much more rare and much more difficult it's lead backup Harmony in a third part of a total different line making it a three part harmony what you're hearing is a two-part Harmony lead and back up that's two!
I love this song, but watching the 3 of you play, smiling, moving and seeming to have a great time with it is priceless! Marks of the greatest performers are having a great time while making great music! My compliments, gentlemen!

Third Rate Romance has always been a favorite! I think it's that Latin beat and humorous lyrics and it all just fits together. I used to DJ at a C/W night club and that was one of the songs that got played. That was back in the dark ages when they had these round discs with large holes in the middle....45's! Thanks, guys!
I worked in radio for many years... I loved playing Third Rate Romance going into the news at the top of the hour... Give the legal ID and get out of the way for the final guitar run... then bang, there's the national news. Back when you had to have skills in radio, anyway...

I loved the song when it appeared in 1975 and I was a mere 20 years old. I still do and you guys did a fabulous job of covering it. I'd even say better than the original.

I've been playing with mine for 50 years in a bluegrass group. Nothing like singing with a brother. BTW - I'm 75 and I can call the nerds if I want. :) :)
I didn’t even like this song when it was on the charts but I’ve watched this video over and over just to watch Josh play guitar. I especially like the lick right after Skylar sings his last line “ but only a time or two” well done and I even like the song now.😊
I am sure Barry "Byrd" Burton would have pleased with Josh's work on here, the whole thing was just perfect in every way.
I was thinking the same thing and was pleased someone gave Byrd a shout out. His playing on the original was outstanding, such tasty fills. And you’re right, Josh did it justice.

I pick favorite videos and watch them everyday for about a month before I go to another. This has been my favorite one for about 3 weeks now. I love to watch Josh on the guitar on this. Especially the slick lick he plays after Skylar last line he sang. Love it!!!
