I don't think so. I don't think they would make an actual film where actual murder scenes take part. As we can see at the end of this trailer, it's gonna be a happy ending, and probably no Springlock scene.

i know some people expected a lot of agression from the animatronics but i love what they have done with them here. they have ghost of children inside them and the animatronics dont really hurt the night guard until the night guard tried to hurt them. that castle making scene also pays homage to the fact that they are kids on the inside and they don't wanna harm anybody. they are just playing.

The fact that I stumbeled upon Markipliers first Fnaf video all the way back in 2014, and now several years and games later It’s finally getting a movie, absolutely insane. Cory being apart of it too is wild and I honestly can’t wait. What an absolute wild ride this has been so far.

@@Scrapoloso this actually looks pretty loyal to the games so it's not a definite no yet. Obviously they can't just make a movie that goes the same as the gameplay of FNAF but this looks good. The lore is correct, the director and the production studio are good and they're including big names from the FNAF UA-cam scene. Definitely not perfect but it's not going to "suck ass"

Watching this trailer doesn’t feel the same anymore. I hate it when I get those post-event blues. This movie has been such a hype! These past 7 months of waiting for this movie to come out have been so much fun, but now after finally watching the movie, I feel so empty. I don’t even feel like rewatching the trailers because it won’t feel the same anymore, and it’ll just make my sadness worse because I already know what’s going on, so it isn’t exciting anymore (I know I am literally commenting in the official trailer for it, but I didn’t actually watch it, I just saw the last bit on mute and now I’m commenting). Thank you, FNAF Movie, for the memories 💙
I have been waiting for this movie since 2015, and when the trailers came out, it looked very promising. Lots of hype and expectations, but then, I watched the movie and... I was extremely disappointed. How could they butcher it so badly?

@@InvertedDL Simply because of the eight years wait. I obviously expected Scott was doing his best to make it great, but unfortunately, the end result was mediocre at best.
This being Scott's first actual movie only excuses the poorly written story, but not the lack of horror.

I actually enjoyed this movie. Never seeing or knowing anything about the background behind Five nights actually made it a better experience. I didn’t need it to be true to the “video games or tv series,” (still don’t know what it is) but this movie didn’t need gore/violence/sexual content/activity and it still was a Great 10/10 movie! Had me hanging on the entire film! Hope theirs a part 2-5 series with same director/actors!
Fun fact: The music playing is Toreador March from Carmen. I guess William Afton loves Orchestra, probably got A+ in his music class.

I have an art teacher who once worked with Scott Cawthon before he made FNAF. Scott was gonna venture into other careers and then brought this gem of a franchise to life. Hope this film delivers well upon his legacy!

literally just left the theatres and h this brought out my inner child. I used to love the games and would beg my parents to take me to chuck e cheese since it was something that reminded me of fnaf. I know it wasn’t lore accurate but it was amazing nonetheless.

Even though FNAF’s lore can be complicated, let’s all agree that Cory’s cameo could actually be one of the biggest plot points the lore has ever given us and actually makes sense.

the movie with amazing, I can't believe this franchise has come so far. and as soon as I heard they're making movie about it I got so excited when when the movie was officially released. I woke up first thing in the morning I ate my breakfast and I went to the movie theater and when the movie credits played, everyone started cheering and they started singing the fnaf song everyone was like WHERE WAITING EVERYNIGHT TO FINALY ROAM AND INVITE NEW COMERS TO PLAY WITH US FOR MANY YEAR WE'VE BEEN ALL ALONE
Just got home saw it at readings it was pure joy to see a movie that wasn't pushing the message . I never played the game but the movie was awesome well put together great acting and scary enough for me 9/ 10
The fact that Blumhouse brought in Scott Cawthon to write the story and help with the screenplay is a MAJOR W. So many movies with lots of potential have been ruined by directors and writers who don't know anything about the source material. This doesn't seem to be one of those instances at all. So excited to see this on the big screen!!

We saw this with the Mario Movie too, with Shigeru Miyamoto being heavily involved with production and giving us an actually faithful adaptation of the games. I think we're finally transitioning out of the era of video game movies always being weirdly different from the source material and/or just overall bad quality

I watched Cory since 2016 when he had less than a million subscribers and every video i watched made me smile. Now it’s 2023 he has over 16 million subscribers and now is featured in a movie and I can not show how much I am so proud of him of how much he grew. He truly is the shogun!!

Just watched the movie last night. It was great! though I could tell they made this movie for those who haven’t played or know the games lore very well, although the rating definitely held back the scarier aspects of it (I just wished it was more gorier), I also wished they utilized Lilard’s (Steve) character more! Overall, I was very impressed with the set and animatronics design, so awesome to see it translated into the bigger screen!
If you want to have fun and if you love the game, I recommend go watch with a friend or by yourself. However if you’re deep into the lore and wanna watch it for the horror aspect of it, I’d definitely just watch it digitally instead.

It's amazing how far Scott and the franchise has come. In less than a decade, a movie was born from such a simple yet terrifying indie game, and you can really tell how much love went into this. They have come so far and deserve it all. I'm so happy that Scott even gave a little bit of credit to the youtubers that always played all the amazing games he made.

Not the biggest FNAF fan, but I’m definitely amazed with how far this franchise has come, from a indie game on steam to a full blown movie
Same. The movie doesnt look the best quality and im sad scott scrapped his script and storyline and left it for someone else to make, but i will enjoy this regardless and it looks more than entertaining anyway.

I remember my own Son was playing on the phone with me acting like he lost his mind. Then I called my Drill Instructors name.
When he hung up, a little later there was a HUGE OPPRESSIVE FORCE. There was this maddening music and they called themselves 'THE TREE TRUNKS'. He called the next day and I started humming the maddening song. HE EXPLODED in uncontrollable laughter!!!!
Had a nightmare about this movie I never saw and I only played the game once years ago. I played it in a public gaming lounge and screamed out loud, getting stares from everyone. I was so embarrassed, I couldn’t bring myself to touch the game again.
I’m so happy to see Cory in this. Thanks to FNAF his career became what is it now. He’s touched so many people and inspired millions and then some. It’s amazing to see the community giving Cory a well deserved place in the film.
*UPDATE*
A lot of people have been arguing about wether Cory really deserved the role. Some say it should be markiplier, which I totally understand, considering Cory isn’t the only one to stream FNAF and make the fan base what it is now, however, we must understand that this is a very subjective opinion that varies from person to person, so we shouldn’t bother finding the right answer, because there isn’t one. No matter who truly deserved it, the movie will still be a banger and I can’t wait to see it!!

Congrats to Scott Cawthon and CoryxKenshin bro. They’ve come so far it’s baffling. It’s so crazy to see how some random game developer and some small UA-cam content creator from 2014 have both made greatness and have risen eachother to fame. I’m a huge fan of Cory and a huge fan of the fnaf franchise. It nearly brings a tear to my eye knowing that I used to watch Cory when I was young and watch gameplays of this game as a young kid. Now I’m a teen and I got to whiteness how far they’ve come. Once again, congrats to Cory and Scott for making this movie even possible. Much love to both of them ❤️

One of the first things I watched after I created my youtube account in 2015 was Markiplier’s FNAF series. 9 year old me was quickly obsessed, and 8 years later, it’s incredible to see how far the fanbase and franchise has gone. The first fandom I was truly apart of! My friends and I knew EVERYTHING about the lore…..

I was a 10 year old kid when FNAF was first released and I loved it. The first time a horror game interested me as a young kid. I remember the times with my older brother and younger me watching youtubers playing the game on youtube and how my classmates/friends would talk about FNAF in elementary school 4th grade back then. I am now 19 years old and will definitely watch the upcoming movie itself. And honestly, I just find it "awesome" to know and see kids of today's generation getting into Five Nights at Freddy's, just as we older people did as kids back then.
