Well, the Springtrap suit probably looked somewhat the same in the actual game. Judging by the 8-bit mini game designs, the suit was missing the top half of his ear just like Springtrap
I feel like if I was write the I always come back scene, I would've written I'll come back... I always do... And then in a scene for the third movie we could've had him actually say “I ALWAYS COME BACK!”

When rewatching this scene again, I actually enjoyed Lillard's perfomance and he makes springtrap's character more like a reincarnation of Stu Matcher.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that there are not enough words to describe the emotion, happiness and excitement that this scene made us feel, after so many years and having it before our eyes was magical.
When he started monologuing to the children i was quite actually jumping in my seat, and then when that first springlock went off I screamed. Love this movie. Best theater experience of my life ngl😭
When I saw Springbonnie/Afton/Yellow Rabbit come out of the door I was actually in so much excitement it was crazy, same for when the main cast was shown in the film
People hate on this scene for not being as graphic and brutal as they wanted it to be, but I think it's a perfect way to do the springlock scene. Remember, the damage happens on the inside and it takes time for all the blood to soak into the suit. And how would they even fit a camera in to show Afton being crushed?

If they saved it for the sequel, it would've hit 100 times harder (and made more sense to everyone)
Tell that to Battington, he and his fans wanted the FNAF Movie to be “just like FNAF Analog Horros Videos,” which I honestly disagree with because while I do love some FNAF Analog Horror, they’re better off as their own thing rather than official FNAF content.

That's exactly what I was thinking, dude. They basically just dedicated themselves to stopping Springtrap and protecting anyone, especially children, from his evil. They've gone from villains to heroes to take on the true villain of the story. Truly badass in my opinion.
It takes a great team of writers, craftsmen, puppeteers, electricians, cinematographers, and editors to create a one second shot of a robot looking at a guy and have the whole audience hear "We'll always be waiting." in their heads.

I like to think the place not only collapsed thanks to the kids' agony, but from all the people who died in Freddy's thanks to William, these were the consequences of his actions, and all the victims were crumbling the floor, knowing that William will pay.
It was absolutely insane watching this in the theater. Drove out of town to see it with my cousins. Loved the film. It just has this vibe to it. So fricken good.
I really hope they just make the scare factor just a bit better in the sequel BUT OVERALL a decent first movie and the amount of love and thought put into this is what really counts for the fnaf fans! Idc what anyone says. I will always have a place for this movie in my heart. It was super satisfying seeing the characters I've been seeing on my computer screen for 9 years on the big screen in theaters. I honestly think it is THE most faithful video game adaptation. I cannot wait for the sequel!

The animatronics are played by actors in suits for most of the film. But Foxy is completely remote-controlled since an actor wouldn’t fit in the suit, which is just amazing to think about

Me and my girlfriend spent a wonderful evening watching this movie in the theaters. I will never forget this "magic" and feeling that you're going to experience a rollercoaster of emotions, nostalgia and horror. I never thought I would say "Two tickets for FNAF, please" for real. I will never, never forget this awesome evening. I wish I could see this movie for the first time once again. Thank you, Scott! And thanks to the Blumhouse for fantasy and fun coming alive.

Dude, the way my theater was cheering when William first entered the scene was unlike anything I ever heard. It was like being at No Way Home's premiere. Cannot wait for the second movie!
I watched it with my parents last night! We liked it but didn't love it, 5 out of 10 for all of us, lots of plot holes and not a lot of screen time of freddys. but the practical effects, cinematography and music was great! Can't wait for the sequel because one of the things I love about universal is that they listen to fans and will give us a better movie, 💛
It was crazy walking into the theater and watching my childhood make it to the big screen tbh. I remember when the trailer first dropped, I was SCREAMING to my friends about it. I know the second movie will be better, too, judging from the behind the scenes we've already got and the new teaser poster, I have a feeling they're gonna do some justice. I think they said something about how they want to add things in that the first film lacked, which tells me it'll be promising.
Met Matthew Lillard at Comic Con just this past April. Man he was a genuine soul. While I was in line with about 85 other people, a young lady was having a claustrophobia related panic attack. Matthew got up from his desk and helped her relax.
Matthew Lillard playing the villain is not something I would've expected from the FNAF movie. But damn, he plays the part so well. Are the animatronics made in CGI or were used actual animatronics and/or body suits? I can't really tell (I haven't seen the movie yet).

Idc what anyone says. I will always have a place for this movie in my heart. It was super satisfying seeing the characters I've been seeing on my computer screen for 9 years on the big screen in theaters. I honestly think it is THE most faithful video game adaptation. I cannot wait for the sequel!

@@Wolfy_13Look in the comments, can't understand what's their problem. If they know at least something about FNaF then they should know that Scott wouldn't have made a 1 by 1 Movie adaltation by the game and they claim that there isn't enough blood yet blood doesn't equal scariness.
A critic i can agree with, is that it wasn't scary enough.

@@Wolfy_13 Same here, the Movie was great and that's it, all it would have needed was more Horror, maybe something about the Kids in the suits or the consequences of Williams Actions. Not necessarily Gore or Blood, just the impact William had on those kids and the Parents.

The fact the robots are ACTUAL remot controlled animatronics is amazing to me.
The animatronics are played by actors in suits for most of the film. But Foxy is completely remote-controlled since an actor wouldn’t fit in the suit, which is just amazing to think about

Me and my girlfriend spent a wonderful evening watching this movie in the theaters. I will never forget this "magic" and feeling that you're going to experience a rollercoaster of emotions, nostalgia and horror. I never thought I would say "Two tickets for FNAF, please" for real. I will never, never forget this awesome evening.
I wish I could see this movie for the first time once again.

While I would have loved Springtrap to be saved for the end of the second film, leading into the third, I understand why he was brought in here and Matthew Lillard was such a perfect choice for the role! I’m curious to see how the sequel expands on things.
Dude, the way my theater was cheering when William first entered the scene was unlike anything I ever heard. It was like being at No Way Home's premiere.

I watched it with my parents last night! We liked it but didn't love it, 5 out of 10 for all of us, lots of plot holes and not a lot of screen time of freddys. but the practical effects, cinematography and music was great! Can't wait for the sequel because one of the things I love about universal is that they listen to fans and will give us a better movie, 💛

I honestly thought this was a horror movie at first, but I'm glad it isn't.
It was crazy walking into the theater and watching my childhood make it to the big screen tbh. I remember when the trailer first dropped, I was SCREAMING to my friends about it. I know the second movie will be better, too, judging from the behind the scenes we've already got and the new teaser poster, I have a feeling they're gonna do some justice. I think they said something about how they want to add things in that the first film lacked, which tells me it'll be promising.

Met Matthew Lillard at Comic Con just this past April. Man he was a genuine soul. While I was in line with about 85 other people, a young lady was having a claustrophobia related panic attack. Matthew got up from his desk and helped her relax.

Matthew Lillard playing the villain is not something I would've expected from the FNAF movie. But damn, he plays the part so well.
Are the animatronics made in CGI or were used actual animatronics and/or body suits? I can't really tell (I haven't seen the movie yet).
They're real animatronics, made by the same people who made The Muppets (Jim Henson's Creature Shop)

I'm glad CGI wasn't used, the result would have been completely different and give another mood to the movie.
@@megaene Indeed, the only moment that had much CGI was the spring locks underneath William's suit, because obviously, they wouldn't actually stab Matthew Lillard with animatronic mechanisms.
