Markiplier was supposed to be the security guard that died first. That would've not only been the best way to begin the movie but also an allegory to his first jumpscare from his first FNAF video since it was Foxy Edit 1: I Appreciate the likes. I just thought it was cool fact. The security guard we got was great nevertheless. Don't get it twisted.

The one thing about it that is I feel the scene wouldn’t have been as impactful if it was a guest appearance, people would have been too focused on the fact that it’s markiplier and not a security guard about to die. Mark would do better in a guest appearance like matpats just a small omg moment. But I agree it would have been cool to see him anyway

It’s such a shame mark couldn’t be this security guard in the first scene due to his busy film schedule and being unable to move his projects around but hopefully fingers crossed we get to see him in the sequel
I really wish they made it where the security guard managed to also make it out of the torture machine like Mike did and successfully got out of the pizzeria and it would end with the security guard running off into the distance or driving off
I like subtle hints and cues in movies and shows you don't catch the first time around. When William was interviewing Mike he was dismissive and could care less about actually getting him a job lined up at all given his record. But the instance he reads over his last name and takes a good look at Mike, his tune changes. A small clue as to how these two characters are actually tied together despite never meeting before 😮😈.
If you ever watched the fnaf VHS tapes on I believe there’s a video of Millie getting killed by this exact machine. But correct me if I’m wrong I can’t remember

This opening had potential but then they immediately dropped all of it for fort building and hugging freddy. Since people keep saying it yes, I knew there are kids in there, however fnaf usually makes it apparent that the animatronics are usually in control most of the time. Why would they stuff you in a suit, or why would springtrap listen to the voice if it were just people walking around in animal suits of armor?
the fort scene really did not change anything at all, I swear the criticism people have for it has hardly anything to do with what kind of actual effect it has in the film, but instead is more so just that they're upset about the scene's existence in of itself, regardless of whether or not it actually changes anything for things like the scare factor

Which is even more apparent when considering that in the next nights they immediately go to trying to murder mike and stuff Abby in a suit, with no provided explanation for their sudden change in motivation, aside from them never intending to genuinely be that friendly in the first place. The animatronics aren't even ever that friendly again for the rest of the film, so someone could only really say that they're friendly from there on, if they didn't actually bother paying attention. And the springlock scene isn't anything new at all, it happened in FNAF 3, the silver eyes trilogy, etc. The animatronics turning on William at the end of FNAF 1 is what happens in almost every iteration of the lore. The only differences between the different ones being how the animatronics end up getting the result of William being spring-locked
I find it very hypocritical how he reminds him how bad it was that he beat that man up in front of his son when HE killed 5 kids and shoved them into the animatronics
It's probably to hide the victims face in case someone finds their body they won't know who they were or where they worked so William would be free of charges
I belive Afton built it on purpuse. The funtime animatronics were made to kill children, so, it's expected that William Afton would make more things like that.

They never showed his face getting grinded, but they deleted foxy dragging him down the hall with a blood trail behind.
Foxy’s humming is just creepy as hell. Made worse by the fact that he does it just before he rushes to come kill you.
