I've never played the games, but Markiplier and MatPat have got me to love the story and the lore of the games. I am so freaking excited to see this. I remember when there was a time that this movie was just rumors. I'm seeing it in theatres to support the film financially and hope that it is able to spawn a full trilogy.

One thing everyone doesn’t seem to talk about is Mike’s fear of the animatronics. I love how the trailer makes it clear that mike is terrified to the point that he actually feels like how a person would have fear for something.

From a small indie game in 2014 that introduced us to these characters and their jumpscares to a big screen horror flick… man how time flies😢🐻🐥🐰🦊 so much nostalgia
You want to know what makes the animatronics scarier? When the looters first came in, when Chica attacked one of them, that happened during daylight hours. The ghost children themselves also show up in broad daylight. This is unlike the games where the settings were always at night and implied that the animatronics did not become hostile until it was nighttime. You also typically faced them by your almost total lonesome. The animatronics picked off the group of looters one by one and seem to have no issue going after groups of people. This goes to show that you are not safe no matter what time of day it is or how many of you there are anywhere near the ghost children or the animatronics they possess (and that's discounting William Afton being a thing too).
in fnaf 2 it does say the animatronics have a security defense thing during the day that has a database of all criminals or something

I feel like this movie is 100% gonna live up to the hype and complement the games well done Blum house and Scott 🎬👏
Better than the Mario Movie for sure

I used to dream of this movie, it came a little late but it's good, I'm glad it came.
That shot of Afton emerging from the shadows actually gave me chills, Matthew Lillard was a fantastic choice for casting.

That costume made my jaw drop holy shit that is *good*
bro that costume looks fucking ass im sorry 😂 maybe it’ll look better in the actual movie
When?
As someone who has been a fan of this franchise since day 1, I'm super excited to see this movie! Not to mention, I had a huge smile on my face when Springtrap appeared in the last few seconds!
Facts!
Yeah i thought this movie wouldnt be all that scary but that spring trap is actually kind of terrifying lol
@@chicken3026i know right me and my little brother are going to watch the movie are you going to watch it alone or will you watch it with someone your brother or sister or a friend or your dad
@@joshuakeur1776 Ill probably watch with some friends/family

Seeing that universal logo puts a smile on my face, seeing how far we as fans have come and the series as well.
I am praising his trailer thank you Scott for making five nights at Freddy’s. Thank you for making this happen do not cry because it is Gone smile because it happened❤
Sorry I have grammar issues
THE KNIFE SWIPE!!!! THAT'S SO META
For those who don't know, Matthew Lilard (William Afton in this movie, and also Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo live actions) played one half of the Ghost Face duo in the original Scream. One of his signature moves is to wipe the blood off his knife to keep it clean. Seeing Springtrap do that here made me so happy
thank you, no one else is talking about this
THANK YOU FOR TALKING ABT THIS
Looks like he’s Afton in this but In the first trailer he’s spring trap
yess I remember from scream
I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS COMMENT YESSSSSSSSSS
I honestly think this is the scariest trailer we’ve gotten. Like seeing Afton lurking in the darkness coming to kill Mike is genuinely pretty freaky to me ,but I love it so much!
I will say, seeing Afton lurking in the darkness at the end actually scared the shit out of me. 😅
Fr!!
@@zenthiat2292 like, I actually screamed a bit because it just looked so unsettling and it actually jumpscared me.
The animatronics are just goofy and not scary at all
Afton in the suit actually gave me the creeps and got me kinda hyped.
This is far from scary
I am watching this in an hour when its 7 pm.....im in the uk thats why and im gonna cry and be so scared BUT I CANNOT WAIT
anybody else notice when springtrap does the ghostface knife move with his hand, cool reference to Matthew Lillard in Scream 1 :)
after 9 years since it’s release, i did not expect this game to grow so much to the point that it would get its own movie. thank you Scott for everything.
edit: i am aware that blumhouse announced the movie in 2015, and no i did not know someone has made a comment like this before.
It’s so beautiful
I can’t wait for it
9 years now
@@BrothaBrotha-jl5kp oh that’s true
Bro they announced it back in 2015💀
Hopefully they make elizabeth afton x crying child canon
It almost feels strange for the release date to be this close - it feels like it’s been so long since it was announced. I’m so excited to see this!!
@1lzs Who the fuck is we?
The comment I replied to was deleted so to quote it here

I just watched the movie yesterday night and it is a MUST SEE MOVIE!
So dope this is on peacock on release day. I WILL be watching
The animatronic introduction scene where we hear their names with intermittent lights flashing on plus the ominous music in the background is so incredibly effective and well-done! The way the female guard says their names sounds so sad somehow. Also The different angles/shots we get of each of them, combined with variances in background lighting (like red background lighting for Foxy) just gives the sense that they are each distinct in their own way (having their own personalities and stories). the fact that the camera is looking up at them makes them seem so much larger than the viewer, showing how imposing they are.
there was literally only one colour differnce for foxy, and all the rest were closeups of the faces, only foxy was shot from a low angle 💀
Are we really giving credit for the most basic concepts of camerawork now? Like I'm sure the director is good and has some great takes but these shots are pretty standard. It's like praising Lewis Hamilton for being able to take a roundabout.
@@danielf1833 yea the glaze on these bias'd fnaf fans is crazy like im sorry but i have my expectations put reasonable for this film. i dont mind being proven wrong tho so ill still go and prob enjoy it anyways tho
Im 12 and this is deep
@@danielf1833 I mean sure? They got the intended effect with their angles and I pointed out that I like how they chose to do it lol
It didn’t take a decade for FNAF to get it’s movie. Look how amazing and big this community is.
Thanks for everything. Thank you to Scott Cawthon for making the games, Thank you to Blumhouse for producing the movie, and thank you to every single FNAF fan that made this possible ❤
Se ve que será un churro espero sea uno bueno.
Yes. I love ur nice little speech
I got very excited, too. But on the second thought, does the game creator get his own piece of cake from the revenue of the movie? Hope he does
Super Excited for the movie!! 😊
It practically did take a decade to get a movie, the first FnaF game was released over 9 years ago. August 8, 2014 if you want get specific. The movie is going to be released on October 27. With a rough estimate, 10 more months and it would be at the decade mark. Most people are just going to round up the years to the decade anyway.
I NEED TO WATCH THIS WITH MY GANG
This trailer was just amazing this movie will always be in my heart and I will always love it no matter what
Scott really deserves this win. Every time he's had attention on him he's been nothing but kind and genuine. Salute to him, and may his franchise live on forever.
except when he got cancelled for donating to trump campaign.
edit: I'm not saying that what he did was wrong, just that it was a time he had negative attention on him.
