Return to Helgen and take the road towards Ivarstead. You will find the remains of a khajit caravan that has been attacked by bandits. Four bandits will attack you. The loot includes a Speech skill book. Continue along the road until the caravan is out of sight then return. The caravan will still be there but three more bandits will have spawned. This encounter is only available until you visit Riverwood.
I am on what has to be at least my 10th playthrough of Skyrim. I love watching these videos to see what gets left out/forgotten/missed etc. The ONLY criticism I have on this video is that you might have stressed the importance of disenchanting all unused enchanted items just a bit more than you did. I have watched videos that run past the hour mark that are not as thoroughly infomative as this 15 min. video. This is a must watch for all Skyrim newbies, excellent job!
Should have mentioned the shrines and where to see active effects, but other than that, its an awesome introductory video for new comers to Skyrim. Great job, that was fantastic work
I've been putting off playing Skyrim for years for whatever reason, but after recently playing Elden Ring for the first time and absolutely loving it I think I'm ready to take the plunge. I aim to experience most of the game and collect 100% achievements (Xbox) in one single playthrough and will definitely be using this video to get me started. I've read that there are tons of bugs/glitches resulting from doing things 'out of order' or going places too early - hopefully doing a bit of exploring and grinding early with the tips in this video doesn't break a future questline or achievement for me! Can't wait to get started 😊
I'm really glad to know that you will use this video to get started in Skyrim Robert. I'm sure that you will definitely achieve your aim. And don't worry about triggering any bugs or glitches by following this guide. This video covers everything that the developers intended for the players to find when they explore this world. Play freely and enjoy your game, my friend.
Two things I would have mentioned is that you can come back to Helgen any time later in the game you want just by fast travelling. And that if you want to return for any items you have to drop in the tutorial tunnels, drop them on the floor. They will still be there when you return where if you put them in storage containers like barrels or chests they may not. They can then be used as enchantables or sale items once you've boosted your strength limit and are better able to carry them out.
When you come out of the cave, you should go to the left! There's a bandit camp there (not sure why people dont know this) with a chest with lots of useful items. Then do everything you said.
I found a new way to play unless someone already found it i call it the scaredy warrior reqires fury. Use it on one of the enemies and hide or use invisibliity potion and watch them fight might not finish themselves but they will be damaged but they one might die just finish the other
Great video introduction to Skyrim! I am curious though, was there a plan to talk about stolen loot being taken by guards if confronted or hired thugs that arrive after taking Anise’s house items? Ya know, action/ consequence? Still love the video! ✌️😎👍
I've never played an Elder Scrolls game, but I enjoyed playing Fallout 3 and 4 on my old roommate's Playstation. Would I enjoy Skyrim in 2024 on Switch? It's the only console I still own and I don't do PC. I already played Outer Worlds on Switch and am leaning between this and Dragons Dogma for an open RPG.
I have my argonian as a worrior and a archer just in case for long range so i did mess up in this video but its ok i can play the game again and do it all over.
You know i played skyrim over and over and with orc, nord, khajit, dark elf, and reached level 100 couple of times and then decided to try mods and it was fun but you really start missing te grind and the game is pointless when you get everyting you want through mods only thing i will use now is graphic mods
I just bought this game and I played it for a few hours. I sensed right away that I wasn't going to enjoy the medievel theme- and sure enough, after only a few minutes I found myself dozing off. With Fallout 4 I was totally sucked in- from the very first moments playing to well beyond a year and a half. As for potions, dragons etc I guess that kind of stuff isn't for me. Even so I'm sure there are many others who enjoy fairy tales, dungeons, elves, cat-people and the like. As for what's next, knowing me I'll probably get back to it once my boredom quotient drops below -1000. I think that if I had discovered this game before I ever heard of Fallout I'd have a much better opinion of it - and it's really still too soon to say. A lot of people like it, that's for certain! Anyway, after barely avoiding being decapitated I eventually made it to the tavern beyond the caves. The people there were quite nice and most generous. All I wanted to was to say hello... and they gave me almost everything they owned (so much for true human nature)! After walking out of there I had no desire to go any further. What was the point? Swords and shields? Bows and arrows? Maces? I felt like I was living in the late bronze age. So off went Skyrim, where afterwards I made a bee-line back to the wasteland where people are more advanced, having long-since blown themselves up with nukes.
@@sid3954full, separate game and super cheap on whatever platform you are planning to play it. Part 2 has premiere this year I believe. Immersion is phenomenal. No dragons, magic and shiete. You are son of a blacksmith in medieval Czech Republic. I've bought it in box for playstation - around 14$ for Royal Edition (full game, all DLC's). That's kind of game that can surprise you from the start. It starts, tells your story, "and that's how Henry was born - and you die couse of infection after born" xD. You have to start it again. Tip: save a lot. Fighting is hard thing, fight a lot and learn. On start, you are literally nobody. When vs 2 people you have no chance to survive. Skill, practice and practice
Just start playing skyrim for the first time. quick question, i follow rillof guy to riverwood so can i go back take all the loot u show in the beginning of the video? it is it possible? thx
You can go back to the cave with the sleeping bear and spiders, but all the loot you left prior to crossing this bridge at 2:52 will be permanently lost.
My friend I started yesterday, but I was looking a lot of things and I found some mods, do I need to start with mods or not? I'm talking about simple things, like graphics improviments and other good things without change the main story, what do you think ?
It's just a joke. Killing the chicken will get everyone in Riverwood become hostile to you. It's what most skyrim players did accidentally, as beginners.
😄 Hey, don't overthink this man. I mentioned saving the game before doing this. So just reload the game again, and skip this step. This step is just a little joke, you don't have to actually do this okay.
Modded Skyrim is overrated, it was fun at first but after the 1,000,000 times it makes me miss vanilla Skyrim. So here I am playing Vanilla Skyrim first time in 6 years. No not Vanilla then modded later on. Vanilla all the way to the end.
Still bugs me your skipping the 4 snowberrie bushes, closer bandit camp with salmon, rabbit, light armor skillbook, healing potiob, blisterwart, novice locked chest, 5 randomized sacks, hide boots, 3 butterfly, over a dozen bees and a hive and 3 easy bandits with loot ... all alot closer then the shrine or camp you did hit
All the "guides" for this game are walkthroughs, "go here" and "go there", but no hints of what are souls for, why weapons lose magic, do I need to learn magic if I just want to smash things around, can you skip making potions and other crafting? idk man, there is nothing here to learn for new players
@@SamDessage Actually, you had me scratching my head over that one. Kill the chicken? This some deep strategy to use later in the game to steal something without having the chicken see you and report you? Like are you immune to retaliation by the entire village if you kill it first thing? Then, later, you won't accidentally kill it when fighting a dragon or something? ohhhhh.........he's just being sadistic.

Killing the chicken is mandatory on your first play through!
But why?
@@tat2steve2010I learned it’s like a tradition. An inside joke but not. An un-obligatory tribute maybe, a right of passage perhaps.
