This video features a GoPro filmed 10x TimeWarp / Hyper-lapse / Time-lapse of Calgary's C-Train Blue Line. Recording was done after receiving permission from Calgary Transit's Revenue Streams department. This clip showcases a full train ride & journey from Saddletowne Station to 69th Street Station via Downtown's Free Fare zone.
CTrain is a light rail rapid transit system in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It began operation on May 25, 1981 and has expanded as the city has increased in population. The system is operated by Calgary Transit, as part of the Calgary municipal government's transportation department. As of 2017, it is one of the busiest light rail transit systems in North America, with 306,900 weekday riders, and has been growing steadily in recent years. About 45% of workers in Downtown Calgary take the CTrain to work.

My favorite stations are Westbrook and 69th because they're underground. I like underground stations.
Hopefully more underground stations incoming from the Green Line in the future? ;)
@@vyomps I hope so as well and I hope they use the underground area at city hall as well since it was intended for a tunnel system that'd be rad.

Never knew that the Ctrain is the busiest LRT in Canada or US..thats crazy
It definitely isn't the most busy Rail/Metro/Subway system. But it certainly is the busiest "LRT" ;)

It says that it's filmed with a GoPro. I'd imagine you'd need permission to stick a camera onto the train.
I mean this looks like it is film from within the conductors cabin, so I'd imagine you'd need permission unless you want to break into it and get arrested.
EDIT: they had to suction a Go-Pro to the front windshield. So ya you need permission to do that.

Filming the SkyTrain Expo Line last year was definitely fun. The train being driverless makes it easier haha.
Here I had to request permission, sign a form and then was given a specific day and time to drop by and film. Process took a while but the transit staff was friendly and very accommodating :)
