I'm certain it's difficult to tell ...I adore black and white with gold almost as much .....I have some 48x 60 s that are just that .♥ed seeing you do this.Well done! Much appreciation for your hard work sharing.
Really love this. I am new to the art of pouring but you give me such great information. Thanks so much for your time and I am going to give this a try.
neat clean demo.. I appreciate your professionalism! it was a daring chance. good to hear explanation of what the products and colors are doing... not few I dunno never done this. practice isgood!
Hi deby, what a beautiful pour. I too had a vision in my head of a black ,white and gold splat blow. In June I tried it . Turned out my most favourite yet, conciquently it's never left my studio ha ha x
Breaks my heart to sell my paintings sometimes, but sales = more paints and canvases so even the favorites have to go. Glad you got a good result with your colors.
I am definitely getting somewhere. I'have been creating art for most of my life and I can honestly say Pouring is something that has so many variables and different ways to do and different combinations, it's also very addicting!
Omg , That's so good . And i'm a beginner, I just bought materials for this and I'm planing to paint something for my grandma so I'm really nervous and I dunno if It's going to be that good as I'm imagining.
You mean the paint 'cells'? There is a lot of things that have to come together to make that happen. Most people don't get it on their first time. Come and show us what you made in the Facebook group, share how you mixed your paints, what 'recipe' you used and we will try to help you out. facebook.com/groups/acrylicpouring.
This is beautiful. I want to do this to a desk top so I'll need it to be very flat when it dries. I'll need to lay things on top of it as well as write on it. What do you suggest I use to get it as flat as possible?
Thank you! My 1st three acrylic pours, have been just that ~I wasn't that impressed w mine .To me black and white look calming.Any 2 or 3 .Looking forward to the show
Absolutely you can. Large canvases can be harder to work on if you have to tilt them, but this technique doesn't really need tilting, just spreading and blowing. Go for it and good luck.
That's the Raleigh-Taylor instability at work, where paints of differing densities are accelerated over each other. Fun to watch them develop like magic.
This is great Deby!! Can you tell me what brand floetrol you use? I've noticed the flood one seems to only be available in the US, but I'm a fellow brit and don't want to wait 4 weeks! Thanks so much xx
You can get the Owatrol version in the UK from Amazon here - amzn.to/2gB9QYb. You might find it to be a little thicker than the Flood version I use, so a little more water might be needed in your mix. And of course in the UK everything is just so much more expensive too.
Why do you change the amount of floetrol u use on pours. I watched the linear sparkle video, which you used 2 parts floetrol to one partmpaijt, and with this one it is 30% floetrol to paint?
It depends on the type of paint. I will vary my recipe based on paint viscosity and pigment load, and the look that I want to achieve. There is no one perfect recipe that suits all situations, so that's why when you see me using different paints or making different styles of paintings, I'll use different recipes.
Hahaha, I bet you said that to everyone. I'm just up, no time to see them all yet, but I'm keen to check out the 'competition'! Thanks so much for taking part with the challenge Sarah, it was a tough one.
Do you invite people who are not doing UA-cam videos to participate in these? I am learning the fun of pouring paints and relish challenges. This would be an easy one I think with only three colors.
Of course you can do the challenge we set Larry, we would love to see how you get on. Come and join us and share your paintings in the Facebook group here - facebook.com/groups/acrylicpouring
This turned out so nice. A very elegant look! Thank you for sharing.
They all turned out so differently!!
Its a real adventure with these challenges!
I love the way it turned out!! You are always so much fun to watch, Deby
Thank you so much :-)
I love your spirit and determination. Your very inspirational and inventive. Being new to this your so encouraging.thanks for sharing
Thank you so much :-)
I love the gold & white dirty pour! I liked this every step of the way.
Now it's dry, that background looks really good, very marbled and subtle. I'll certainly think of doing this again.
I'm really appreciating the simple color pallet and the new technique and the marvelous (planned) somewhat simpler design.♥
It was hard for me. Like you, I really enjoy the bright colors!
I'm certain it's difficult to tell ...I adore black and white with gold almost as much .....I have some 48x 60 s that are just that .♥ed seeing you do this.Well done! Much appreciation for your hard work sharing.
I tried this technique today. Love it!
Really love this. I am new to the art of pouring but you give me such great information. Thanks so much for your time and I am going to give this a try.

This looks amazing! I'm going to have to try this!
Awesome! Thank you for sharing your great technique!
Thank you so much :-)
I love it! glad I watched this think I'll try blowing before I try swiping. dont know if my metallic paints will work, but her I go!
You get a lot of control with blowing so the painting feels more 'deliberate'. I'm sure you'll have fun.
I am definitely getting somewhere. I'have been creating art for most of my life and I can honestly say Pouring is something that has so many variables and different ways to do and different combinations, it's also very addicting!
Good job Deby. I love this painting❤️
Thanks so much :-)
I love this!
Thank you Cathy, not too grey ...
I absolutely love it!!! 😍 It was nerve wrecking for me, lol. It's gorgeous.
For me too. I was thinking it would be a big black disaster - but I think I kept it under control. Phew.
Quite beautiful Deby, especially in the closeup shots!
Thank you. The blowing made some pretty cells.
I really like this Deby...pretty! I'm gonna give this a try!
Thank you so much :-) I hope you'll give it a try and share your results in our Facebook Group.
LOVE this!
Thank you so much :-)
Looks great! Can't wait to try this!
Do come and share in our Facebook group if you do Jen, we would love to see it
Lovely painting.
Quite a challenge working with such limited colors this time
Omg , That's so good . And i'm a beginner, I just bought materials for this and I'm planing to paint something for my grandma so I'm really nervous and I dunno if It's going to be that good as I'm imagining.
So long as you have fun painting, all will be well and she will love that you made it just for her.
Deby at Acrylic Pouring i don't know why the bubbles didn't appear in my painting i'm disappointed

I love it I loved it before the gold and after.
That gold looks really good now it's dry, much more sparkly. Even the gold in the white background looks nice, very marbled.
Beautiful!
Thank you so much :-)
Georgous Debt I loved your teqnique!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟😁😁😁😁🔥🔥🔥✌✌✌✌❤❤❤
Whoo hoo, look at all those stars! Thanks Lisa.
Wow love it
This is awesome, Deby! I love to wear these colors together, so why not put them on a canvas?
Thanks Kim, it was fun working with you on this project.
Thank you! My 1st three acrylic pours, have been just that ~I wasn't that impressed w mine .To me black and white look calming.Any 2 or 3 .Looking forward to the show
I love it!!!
Very cool ,luv it !!!❤
Thanks so much :-) I very much appreciate you watching and commenting.
Very beautiful .... do you add silicone in each Color ?
In this case no, the black was premixed in the bottle so there was most likely some silicone oil in that one, but not in the others.
So nice 👍🏻
Can I do the same but with big canvas like 60” by 40”?
Absolutely you can. Large canvases can be harder to work on if you have to tilt them, but this technique doesn't really need tilting, just spreading and blowing. Go for it and good luck.
very cool i cant wait to try it ty
I hope you will come and share your results in our Facebook group - facebook.com/groups/acrylicpouring
Thats gorgeous
Thanks Monika. Best wishes.
Blow Deby blow!!!
Perv
Very pretty!
Thank you Rosanne
You are getting cells!
That's the Raleigh-Taylor instability at work, where paints of differing densities are accelerated over each other. Fun to watch them develop like magic.
What a good idea :) Beautiful! I found myself helping you blow the paints...lol
Thanks so much :-)

Love, love love it
Thank you Kristina. Deby
You win hands down
It did turn out pretty nice, didn't it :-) Thanks.
That turned out fantastic. It's a very interesting and pleasing look. And no silicone, eh? Interesting.
Just the movement of the paints over each other is enough to make cells when you blow sometimes.
That's what I kinda figured. Whenever I've done a bad pour, I swipe to save it. Didn't know you could wing it without silicone :-)
fantastic, very creative. question when you say 30% floterol, what does that mean, what is 70%
The 70% is paint. So I would mix 2 parts of paint to 1 part of floetrol, then add water as necessary to get the right pouring consistency.
Why do you change the amount of floetrol u use on pours. I watched the linear sparkle video, which you used 2 parts floetrol to one partmpaijt, and with this one it is 30% floetrol to paint?

Deby. 👍🏻❤️
Thanks.
Thanks
lovee it.
Thanks so much :-) I very much appreciate you watching and commenting.
Gah... I'm yelling at my computer "Too much black!" The end result is still good but you blew over some really beautiful cell formations. LOL
Isn't that have the battle with this style of painting, knowing when to stop fiddling and leave well alone!
AWESOME....:)
Thanks Ann. Deby

Merci
