I love videos where no one is talking and there is only music. Something in me is on constant sensory overload and this makes me very happy. It's so relaxing and the result is gorgeous!

You are most welcome. Doing this looks so therapeutic. I finally forced myself to learn to bake bread(of all kinds) that at first intimidated me. But now, after many successful loaves, it has become my therapy. Deciding if the dough has rested enough, if I kneaded it long enough, getting to know when the dough feels just right in my hands, reminds me of maybe how you artists might feel about the right colors, where to put it, and when you've tilted it enough(or whatever). One day I WILL try this, slowly at first of course. I enjoy learning new things in life. And I've always wanted to learn to paint....other than walls inside and outside of my house! So, after watching many of these videos, I really have the itch to give it a go. Now I have something to look forward to after we get pass my hubby's open heart surgery, which is coming up soon. So, I thank YOU for the inspiration! Have a happy new year.

I enjoy this medium and technique as I do working with polymer clay because of the superfine detail and colors. Using this technique always produces something interesting and... unexpected? The definition of Art is a tricky one to nail down:
"The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power."
When I make a pot or paint a scene I am creating something. But when I was a kid and went to the fair we would always hit the Spinning Paint Booth, little squeeze bottles of different colored paints, a 6" X 8" card mounted. I always loved making them but I never thought of them as art. It is very similar to me with Paint Pouring. Is it "Art"? Not that you didn't "create" these, or that you should be happy even proud of them, but if you are surprised at the outcome... is it really Art?
Have a great day Ms. VanEver.
