I find this painting to be one of the most intriguing pours of those I’ve seen done by anyone. I love the shape you’ve created. It seems to be squirming as it crosses the canvas. It is spectacular! I can’t wait to see the rest of your videos.
Good morning Annemarie! You are so funny! You don't need us to tell you what to do! Yes I like it - yes I am glad you stopped, and yes I like the bling you added! Another really beautiful pour!. Thank you lady for my daily dose of inspiration!
I like the layering! The softness of the bottom layer makes a nice contrast with the vividness of the upper layer. I like the subtle glitter on that bottom layer, too.
Am I the only one that is a "backseat driver" or "armchair quarterback" ? LOL Before she started swiping I was saying out loud " Nooooo don't do it ! Wait ! " .... first swipe and I'm like " Yep, she screwed i..................t............. Oh LAWD that is beautiful ! "
Yesterday I spent the day, on and off, watching your videos. I have just started painting again after a long dry spell. One of my favourite mediums is watercolours, but I just have not produced any work as I have been caring for my husband. Then about 3 weeks ago I started pours, and swipes I am encouraged by the spontaneous reaction of the colours. And have created 30 plus canvases . Your videos are loaded with information and only wished I had watched some of these at the beginning of my colour rants. But as I was work mainly outside I was trying to get ready for a art tour I am in , in mid September and yesterday was a dull day I tuned into your videos. I am now going to remember to call the divisions, cells not pixels, as well as many other terms.. Thanks for the videos and I love your work. Twylla from Canada
I am glad you stopped when you did - I really like the white negative space and the colors work well together - Knowing when to stop is hard because it is so much fun to experiment - Beautiful piece
LOL - Fair enough - I can live with you having a piece of your own art that I long for. 😆 I really love following you - I learn sooooo much! Many thanks 💖
This is seriously one of my favorite paintings you’ve done! It was funny because every time you went in with a toothpick or brush I would yell at the screen “ NO”! I’m so glad you didn’t touch it. The final effect is totally psychedelic and 3-dimensional. The funny thing is you wouldn’t have achieved this amazing result if it weren’t for the first layer that you didn’t like. . Amazing process! I have to try this!
* raised 🤚 * also a hoarder of things I know I can find use for somewhere. I love the old videos. Keep experimenting and sharing cause your fans live through your art. I can’t not watch when you post. It’s so addictive.😍🇨🇦😘
Learn so much from you. Also learn from others and one valuable thing I learned on another video was how to determine the amount of paint needed. I tried it and it works. Had a pouring party at my home teaching 4 others how to pour. Square inches = ml ... You measure the square inches of your canvas, so 8 X 10 = 80... So you would use 80 ml of paint. I measured water into a cup and put a piece of blue tape at the 80 ml mark. I added more if it was a boxed canvas with deep sides. I marked a cup for each person. Did not have huge puddles afterwards... Maybe a teaspoon spread out to a nice skin. Hope this helps. Thanks for your experimental genius... I'm addicted!
HOLY COW!! 😍😍 It turned out great! And I love the idea of using glitter!! The way you put it on the light colors, It sweetly complemented the darker shades. 😍😍
I love it too tracey & i am constantly watching all of annemarie's videos - she is the lady with the rainbow hands & a big rainbow heart too- hi. annemarie
Hello from Winterset, Iowa, USA. I stumbled upon your page while looking for some art to make for my son's birthday. I visited your country when I was stationed with the USAF in Germany. It's really beautiful there and the people are great... like you. I love your personality because you're down to earth and real. Some of the others are boring because they never act like they make mistakes, but you are honest when something doesn't work the way you meant for it. I do that all of the time, but sometimes it works out great when I least expect it. I'm a fan now... keep up the great work!
its wonderful ~ and I laughed out loud when you said if only we could tell you what to do... as if we'd all agree on an answer!!! too funny. Yes the pour: its very CUTE!!!!
I like it. Love all the cells. Before you added the darker colors, they looked like little jewels in the white. After adding the dark, it really popped and is beautiful.
Annemarie...THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!!!! I believe this my favoritest (I know that's not a real word, lol) I have ever seen you do. I will be watching it again. I have to try this!! Thank you for all you do for us!
♥♥♥ Thank ♥ You ♥♥♥ ♥Thank you for watching ♥ here is a link to the basics with lots of mixing videos. This is the playlist with all the basics... ua-cam.com/play/PLXzY4FNdcFEJNqrgsE1tAaJTPb39K2kn_.html
It's good you didn't give up on it. The piece turned out beautiful. Doing a dirty pour on top of a swipe with cells added so much with just a little tilting. You've discovered something, here.
Gorgeous...and I as some others, I see a dragon. You cracked me up about the bird in the not so furnished house. Then I could hear it. Can't say I've ever heard a bird sound like that poor thing. Maybe you should paint a bird to hang in his cage so he won't be so lonely. You are so creative I'm sure it would be outstanding. And add glitter!! Love you and your fun "let's just try this people" personality. Hard to remember that you can't see us, since we obviously are right there with you. Thanks again for the joy you spread and you probably don't even realize it🌷🌷🌷🌷
I normally don't like a lot of cells ...BUT...when you added the greens it really brought in a new dimension...like lace ! I loved it and the fact that you knew not to touch it means you were listening to your 'gut instincts' good for you! looks like ribbons on lace to me and very very delicious with the bit of shimmer...resin will make it all pop into another dimension! will give it a go myself for sure! 💖👍 lemonade from lemons! Perfect!
I totally love this. Beautiful, love negative space. And of course the colours are stunning. I'm new to your channel. Thank you for sharing and looking forward to watching more videos.
I think it’s very pretty at the tiny cell stage. Very unique and it kept working until you added more paint. However, the one addition of paint gave it the “WOW!” Factor! So cool looking.
One thing that i don't enjoy about my own painting is that they only look good close up. You got such a nice value change on this piece, that i do enjoy. I will definitely will be practicing your technique. Thank you so much for all your work and sharing. You are definitely a great teacher.
I agree with you! That's why I want to see larger canvases! When you try and stretch the paint out it becomes distorted.. I hope that Annmarie will tackle a large canvas as she did in the past! I watched almost all her video's and my favorites are the large ones! Also title them "LARGE CANVAS POUR"! I think everyone wants to see larger canvases! Don't you?
This is fantastic ,so proud of you, you did so good that you were able to stop yourself great job!!! You should definitely keep this one ,it is really spectacular!!! Hugs 🤗
I have to say I really love this one! of course they are my favorite colors. I need to try this method. thank you so much for sharing with all your talents.
This is gorgeous also Annemarie! You are having a great day with all your beautiful creativity. Yes, resin it - it's quite 3D and the resin will make it more so. Can't wait to see it. Cheers, DEB T
Sea horses on water skies. ( I know it sounds crazy ) . I love this painting! The two different techniques totally worked together. And I love glitter! Resin would really make it pop. Your awesome.
Thank you for listening, it was me saying, don't touch with "het kleine stokje!!" Love it when nature paints these pictures. Love your work and video shares. Thanks.
Beautiful,as you did the second pour I thought to myself that it needed glitter in the first pour, and voila !!! I love it . Show it after the resin please.
Beautiful. I love it and was just telling my husband it needed some silver or maybe glitter.... and then you did it... great minds think alike :) thanks for sharing.
Annemarie..... Rio and Saress said to come check you out, so I did. So glad I did cuz I'm really learning so much from certain ones creativity on here. I love what you did with this one and you didn't give up on it!Thanks for sharing
I have a bad habit of occasionally leaving my white paint too thick. And then it does what yours did... sometimes I feel all is lost at that point, so I really like seeing how you saved and even improved on this piece. It's also helpful and calming that you "think out loud" through all of it. Def gave me some inspiration for the next time i inevitably "under-thin" lol. Oh and i see a sea serpent/dragon of sorts, facing towards us, mouth wide open...really lovely🐉🐍🌊
Oh I almost forgot....i love the painting!!! I have a food truck business and I have those lil cups for dressings and dips so when I started using them for painting it was like.... yay! I too like the lil cups. I also spray the cup first with my silicone... all my paint drops out and no waist. And that bird.... sounds sad n kinda scary. Poor birdie.
