When Rob said "we're jumping ahead here" and Lee said "he's allowed to do that", the guy asking the question, Greg Rutherford, was the reigning Olympic long-jump champion. (Just in-case you missed the joke). Btw, Lee was using a South Wales accent, not Russian.
Hey guys love the reactions, maybe try a full episode if you can, absolutely love this show! Merry Christmas from Australia and keep up the awesome work 🍻🎄🍻🍻
The best Henning Wehn joke I've heard is from Jimmy Carr on 8 out of 10 cats does countdown. "In 2015, Henning Wehn did a comedy tour all over the UK. And in 2016 we voted to leave the EU."
It's great that you guys appreciate the brilliant Henning Wehn, and of course so much British comedy. Don't know if you are radio listeners but there's a big tradition of radio comedy in the UK, mostly via BBC Radio 4, where many TV comedians started their broadcasting careers in sketch shows, sitcoms, panel games and more. I mention that because the Christmas tree box part of Henning's story reminded me of a line from the legendary Goon Show (1950s!) which was very surreal and a precursor to the likes of Python, where one character paid another with "a picture of a pound note".
That joke is on Everybody Loves Raymond. Can't remember the exact joke... if you're American in the living room, what are you in the bathroom? You're a'peein
Henning is indeed very funny. He is most definitely NOT underrated. "underrated" is the current lazy UA-cam buzzword, used by people that need to buy themselves a dictionary.
I never understood why, in the first clip, Kirsty apparently had never heard of the Interpol missing list. She's a newsreader! She was a news reader when Madeleine McCann went missing. She was very famously on the Interpol missing list. It's like being a chef, and having never heard of saffron. You may not use it every day, but you'll have stumbled across it somewhere!!!
You likely wouldn't get the reference when the red headed gentleman was reprimanded for jumping the gun, and Lee Mack said he's allowed to do that. The gentleman that said it is Greg Rutherford who won a gold medal at the Olympics for the long jump. He was one of the 3 GB athletes that won gold medals at the 2012 Olympics on a day that has since been dubbed Super Saturday.
I love henning. I lived in the Uk for 20 years and miss the British panel shows. Thank goodness for youtube. David Mitchell has a radio show called The Unbelievable Truth I listen to on youtube. Just some great funny stuff.
Fun fact: "Jaws" author Peter Benchley himself said that he regretted not making the shark the victim in his novel "Jaws", after the film was released and made the public hate sharks. So Dan is spot on.
When Rob passed Lee the spray and Lee spoke and said 'I don't think you give me the right one' was NOT a Russian accent lads it was WELSH coz ROB passed him the spray coz ROB is WELSH just like myself 🙏
@@kb3194 They haven't stopped. Series 17 finished in March this year. There's a Christmas special on the 23rd with series 18 to follow in the new year.

It's amazing how many distinct accents can exist in such a small area.
Lee Mack is so bloody sharp ! Straight in there on a heartbeat 🤣
My favourite Henning joke:
"No, no - my grandfather died at Auschwitz too - he got so drunk he fell out of the observation tower!"
We all love Henning Wehn in the UK. His comedy is so original. He found a niche in the British media that no other German found!
he basically turned the endless Germany stereotypes around and threw them back at you.
David Mitchell will always be at is funniest when he is angrily ranting about details that he needs to know. Love him.
His recent book on British monarchy has many wonderful rants - better as an audio book.
Hennings delivery of comedy is brilliant 😂 He's so good at carrying a story

That was Lee doing a Welsh accent. I remember Benny Hill's joke on the word European, said in a Southern American accent as 'You're a peein'
That joke is on Everybody Loves Raymond. Can't remember the exact joke... if you're American in the living room, what are you in the bathroom?
You're a'peein
I saw Henning live at my local theatre a couple of years ago...he was great!
Henning is very funny and much underrated! Thank you guys, hope you have a good Christmas!🌲

32:52 Welsh accent, which Lee did to joke with Rob with him being both Welsh and an impressionist
Lee's "I think you gave me the wrong one" was a Welsh accent. He was taking the mick out of Rob
The more I see of Henning, the more im convinced he's just British with a Germa accent. 😂😂😂

That guy’s depth perception is unmatched.
Shaun Ryder was great on WILTY. HAPPY MONDAYS
Henning is legend ❤
H.C.Andersens stories are in the original just as grow-ups as The Brothers Grimms stories.
They wouldn't call the consulate in Morrocco if they thought he was in Spain
It was Welsh, not Russian. The host is Welsh.
That sounded Russian ... Actually it was Welsh ;)
Hi dudes, good to see you again.
Im not sure if im proud or disappointed you know Agadoo 😂😂
Yes love henning! I’m going to harass you to do full taskmaster though it’s the elite of the elite of uk panel shows
love you guys and you mentioned feli from germany...cudos guys
when they're telling the truth they need to make it sound a lie, to win points
Didnt even know there was a ETG channel
I searched for this exact video two days ago haha
The Lion King is called Mufasa, not Mustafa lol.
The German Bob Mortimer
Love this so funny
Ben Miller did some comedy with Alexander Armstrong pilot sketches were so good
Armstrong & Miller - WWII Pilots. The most insanely funny sketch series I've seen from all the UK comedy duos!
and yeah the grimm stories...thats some bad shit!!!
Guys, when did you post this on Patreon? I've gone back to posts from late summer and still can't find it.
I didn't know it is international talk like a pirate day.....ar ar ar😂

Lol, I was thinking he sounded more Welsh than Irish, but didn't make the connection that he was joking. 🤣
@mpmlopes loved this show tbh not sure why they stopped making episodes 🤔 probably because of 'complaints' by the snow flakes

@Robbie3004 😲 ah my bad 🙏 thanks for that info much appreciated 👍
Welsh!
Push pineapple shake the tree...
Have you reacted to Kevin Bridges on would I lie to you? Hes hilarious!
German sense of humour, innit?
I can't decide if this would work with a US version or does the self deprecation in so many of the stories mean it works uniquely here.
There has been a US version before

Weird story suggestion. The Ribena scandal.
Have you got a problem with David Mitchell Spence? So many snide comments.
I think Spencer wanted to tell us about his kinky thoughts...
I think you've got a problem with reading people's humour.
sad fool
We have a poor history of taking penalties against Germany in football matches hence the penalty comment. Nothing to do with wars against them.
Henning wasn't even a stand up comedian in Germany, it's not that popular genre there.
Find I can't watch these posts anymore as the writing across the video is too disruptive.
Not a fan of one person clips , makes more enjoyable hear all stories in this is mine ,give you a one in three chance of getting the truth
what did you call me @wreckednation ?
