    Not washing and just putting them in the fridge with hopes no bacteria will grow, or is already in the fridge, or any food-born bacteria for instance, so its actually a way to possibly introduce a bunch of unintentional problems when you can just clean them and be worry free. Easier isn’t always better. Don’t be in denial with yourselves moms! You bust your asses off so I understand the need for quick solutions but also think about how something may backfire and cause you way more work or tragedy when a little bit of effort is actually your best bet to get that free time you’re dying for. Oh and make sure you tell your man once in a while that if you’re pumping, he can clean the parts after. One cooks one cleans or you do it all together, for those that aren’t doing this by themselves of course. For those on your own, you are appreciated and we know you’re out there giving it your all everyday. Just keep going! Good things are on the way dear single parent❤

    I just purchased my momcozy s12 pro. I wanted to ask how long should I pump in the beginning to produce more milk? I started pumping and there’s like 0.25ml of my milk that comes out, but I am not sure if I’m suctioning it the right way with my breasts or my flange size is correct. Can you please help me out so I know I can get more milk. Thank you so much

      It could deff be a flange size issue. Here’s info on sizing: momcozy.com/pages/size-guide-all. I like to do 2 minutes on stimulation mode then switch to expression. It’s a good idea to keep pumping for a couple minutes after you’ve gone dry to encourage your body to produce more milk

    • @MadisonLoethen

    Hello! currently my left breast output could go up to 7oz using medela symphony. would the pump leak if milk output is over 6oz? does s12 also have a 7oz option like willow go or was it m5? I forgot which one! I'm debating which one to get just because of my left breast 😅

    • @MadisonLoethen
      @MadisonLoethen  10 місяців тому

      I think you could get 7oz safely in but you probably would leak if you pump more than that. You could buy extra cups and switch them during your pump. They only have those one sized collection cups but they do hold a lot! The M5s will only hold 5oz and prob not much over.

    • @MadisonLoethen
      @MadisonLoethen  10 місяців тому

      Hmm I wonder if it could be your placement. You need to have them completely horizontal on your nipple so that they suction completely. If they’re slanted/letting air in you won’t suction or get a good pump. Hope that helps! The only other thing I could think of is also make sure your duckbills are on correctly, not placed diagonally then distorted

    Hope I don't sound crazy but I've had mixed thoughts on the fridge method. Somewhat tried it once but then I see some say to wash them out and others say nor so do you wash them out and then also does them being cold affect output? Because I've read that cold is supposed to help dry up milk vs heat to help? If that makes sense? Im just worried indont want to donanything to hinder my supply as im doing everything i can to build it up 😕

    Do you still prefer the s12 pro over the M5? I’m having trouble deciding which one to get. They seem very similar from descriptions online. I currently use a spectra pump but really want to get a good wearable to make easier. personally the spectra can be a little uncomfortable at times so I’m hoping this will feel better while pumping. Do you think the S12 pro and the M5 feel the same while pumping?

    • @MadisonLoethen
      @MadisonLoethen  8 місяців тому +1

      Yes! I still do. I like the big cups and the easy buttons. As far as comfort, a good fitting insert can make a word of difference. If you feel like your nipple is being rubbed, maybe try a bigger one. If you feel like your nipple is being pulled off, try a smaller one.

      @KimberlyBrink 8 місяців тому

      @@MadisonLoethen I also wanted to ask, with the s12 pro, are you able to do hand massages to your breasts while wearing this pump? I have to do a lot of that while using my spectra to help get all my milk out near the top of my chest. So I’m hoping the motors at the top won’t get in the way of me doing that.
